Talk about a “Chile” winter wonderland. Check out these awe-inspiring shots of some satisfied customers in Torres del Paine National Park. Turns out they were having trouble getting quality gear delivered to the “end of the world”. But we’re not about to let a measly 48 glaciers and the earth’s largest ice field stop us from getting these adventurers the outdoor gear they need.

Thanks for your mail. We (me and my boyfriend) are big fans of Sierra Trading Post and we have enough reasons for it. First of all nobody can beat your prices. Second we live and work almost at the end of the world and you can imagine the difficulties we have in getting good quality gear and if we do it costs at least 2 times more than regular prices. Before to be able to shop from you guys we would have to wait for a friend to send it to us from the states and since you started shipping to Chile we are much happier. Torres del Paine is a great National Park with so much to offer and a great variety of microclimates. We always say we live at the end of the world and the climate can be very harsh at times. That is another reason why we always need to be very well equipped with breathable clothing, waterproof shoes etc. We are right next to one of the biggest ice field in the world with 48 different glaciers on it, and that is considered the third largest freshwater source on earth. We also have hundreds of interesting granite formations sculpted by millions of years of glacier work (the towers of paine being some of them) and we get thousands of climbers from all around the world and about 150 thousand tourists a year about 50 thousand of them being hikers. So we are in an outdoor tourism heaven with almost no serious gear suppliers which made you guys our principal supplier since you started shipping to Chile. Feel free to use any of the photos we send you and ask for more in case you need to. We will also let you know about the upcoming trips we do and the future expeditions in the area. It is winter that is coming to Chile now which means the ski season is near. I think we will order lots of skiing gear from Sierra Trading Post, I am sure you will hear from us soon.
