Zip It Good: Zipline and Glider video

Ever the adventure seeker, our very own Sheila Russell took a breathtaking zipline ride through a Colorado canyon recently. And we get to watch the video! It looks like a whole lot of thrilling-but-safe fun.

Here’s Sheila’s story, in her own words:

“Now I’m a bonafide “zipster!” That’s what Monty with Captain Zipline said! Once they get you all fitted in a harness and topped off with a helmet, you are given a quick lesson on the “bunny” zipline where you learn the techniques for a proper, safe zipline tour. And then before you know it you are zipping over the canyon, hearing the cable zing as you look out over the beautiful landscape all around you. It feels like flying… with a kick! The thrill of the zipster experience is certainly worth the 3-1/2 hour scenic drive to Salida from Denver. Monty and his daughter Kelsie will “hook you up” so you can zip it… zip it good!”
