Adventure Edge Radio Interviews Journalist Laurence Gonzales

November Issue of National Geographic Adventure
This week on Adventure Edge Radio, Jimmy Buff interviews journalist Laurence Gonzales, contributing editor to National Geographic Adventure magazine.

Gonzales is the author of ‘Deep Survival: Who Lives, Who Dies and Why,’ a book that examines the results of amazing tales of survival in extreme situations, and ‘Everyday Survival, Why Smart People Do Stupid Things.’ The new book looks at how human beings have gotten themselves in trouble so quickly on planet Earth and what, if anything, we can do about it.

Gonzales also writes a monthly column for National Geographic Adventure and wrote the cover feature in the August issue of the magazine titled How to Survive Almost Anything. Gonzales also writes a Deep Survival blog for National Geographic Adventure.

We’ll also talk about gaiters in the gear highlight and have the Last Word with some personal ruminations on adventure life and death. Listen in and enjoy…
