Adventure Edge Radio Interviews Ultrarunner Marshall Ulrich

This week on Adventure Edge Radio, Jimmy talks to Marshall Ulrich, who just finished running across America.

We told you about Running America 08 back in September – Ulrich and fellow endurance athlete and adventurer Charlie Engle planned to run across America to raise awareness of childhood obesity and set a new record. Unfortunately, Engle was injured along the way and had to leave Ulrich to cover the remaining miles alone. But Ulrich finished strong on November 4th, just 52 and a half days after he started running in Seattle, WA.

Ulrich is no rookie when it comes to endurance events. He’s completed over 116 ultra marathons, 12 expedition-length adventure races, including all nine Eco-Challenge adventure races (he’s one of only three people in the world to do this), and he’s reached each of the Seven Summits, including Mt.
