Man Saves 375 Pound Black Bear from Drowning

Man_Saves_Bear_Drowning.jpgHow much does biologist Adam Warwick love bears? Enough to save a 375-pound black bear from drowning in the Gulf of Mexico.

Boulder Friends Commute to Work via Tube..

Tube_commute.jpg… inner tube! That’s right, this daring duo from Boulder has given the “alternative” in “alternative transportation” a whole new meaning. Braving chilly Boulder Creek, in suits and ties (also giving new meaning to the term “wet suit”), Andy Gruel and Jeff Kagan, took tubes to work on Friday.

If this tube commute had happened somewhere other than Boulder, it might have seemed strange. But Boulder is used to extremes. Seems this eco-conscious community also knows no limits when it comes to creative transportation. They’ll save fuel any which way they can.
