I look forward to Black Friday every year as the day that I can get all of my Christmas shopping done at a super deal!
November 5th, 2009 @ 8:12 am
I’ve always thought of Black Friday as more of a retail event. I’m glad that online shoppers are offering great deals too. Now I can get my shopping done without the insane lines and crazy people
November 6th, 2009 @ 9:39 am
I love Black Friday Shopping because I am indeed just that hardcore about saving money. I love the thrill of being able to get wonderful gifts for everyone without breaking the bank. Of course, the bragging rights are great too!
November 6th, 2009 @ 11:11 am
I absolutely LOVE Black Friday Shopping because I love the excitement and the HUGE SAVINGS! It’s the day I can find Christmas presents for everyone without spending a fortune. Sierra Trading Post has great everyday prices so I’m looking forward to their Black Friday surprises.
November 6th, 2009 @ 12:25 pm
Black Friday online shopping at http://www.Sierratradingpost.com beats all the store sales because…I can wear that STP winter gear to have fun, instead of keeping me warm standing in line all night long!
November 6th, 2009 @ 1:01 pm
I like to save money on Black Friday of course, but I also know that the savings allow me to get everyone on my holiday gift list the gift they deserve to get, not just what I can afford.
November 6th, 2009 @ 3:28 pm
Black Friday shopping is the best way to find killer deals and get everyone crossed off my shopping list. One stop shopping is my favorite – and Sierra Trading Post delivers. I can get something for eveyone, including myself!
November 6th, 2009 @ 4:35 pm
I’m not a fan of black friday, but I am one of the biggest STP fans there are, so if STP is having Free Black Friday, it must be something amazing!
November 7th, 2009 @ 2:42 pm
I like black Friday shopping because not only do I get to see 5 in the morning once a year, I get to crowd surf while still standing on my feet. The deals are good, too.
November 7th, 2009 @ 5:49 pm
Black Friday on sierra trading post must be something because their normal deals are outstanding.
November 8th, 2009 @ 5:39 pm
Always looking for great deals, especially around Christmas. Sierra Trading Post would be a great place to be on Black Friday.
November 8th, 2009 @ 8:55 pm
I love the challenge of fighting off your opponent for that one special item at a super reduced price.
November 9th, 2009 @ 9:31 am
I love Black Friday not only for the deals and excitement, but now for the opportunity to share it with my son and daughter, in town just for the Thanksgiving holiday!!! So fun to spend time with them and help them get their shopping done!
November 9th, 2009 @ 9:35 am
I love the deals at STP and look forward to the sick Black Friday deals.
November 9th, 2009 @ 9:38 am
The best part about black friday is the great deals!
November 9th, 2009 @ 10:47 am
Black Friday shopping is great esp if you get out there early. Ive gotten all my shopping done in one day a few times…love the STP deals year around
great stuff for great prices ty ty ty ty!
November 9th, 2009 @ 3:08 pm
I love looking through all the ads on Black Friday and circling anything that I want and then going online to get them to avoid the waiting. My biggest problem is that Sierra Trading Post has Black Friday prices all year round and I just can’t resist.
November 9th, 2009 @ 3:35 pm
I don’t like Black Friday shopping in the traditional way of going into stores. Shopping online is the only way to do it! It is quicker, easier and less impact on our natural resources than running from store to store in your car to snag those deals!
If you are going to shop that day, do it online!
November 9th, 2009 @ 4:07 pm
Black Friday shopping is so much better now that online shopping is an option!
November 9th, 2009 @ 6:24 pm
For me, Black Friday is all about avoiding any form of traditional shopping.
That’s one thing I love about online shopping at sites like SierraTradingPost.com. No traffic jams, no crazy people, no lines and no wasted time.
Now STP throws in a chance for a shopping spree. Could be an early Christmas
.
November 9th, 2009 @ 8:03 pm
Hate waking up early, but LOVE web shopping – I hardly step into a mall anymore – my UPS driver is my friend; thanks to places like Sierra Trading Post, I can shop from the comfort of my home, with my kids – and spend more time where it truly is valuable! (love the 12 days of christmas too)
November 9th, 2009 @ 8:32 pm
My wife needs great hiking boots and has forbidden me from spending any money.
Help me help Dana!
November 9th, 2009 @ 9:25 pm
I like Black Friday because I know my wife has fun with her sisters. I like having the kids all day, half while she is shopping and half while she is resting from the first half. She doesn’t go crazy with purchases because, well, we just can’t with our budget, which is why we shop at STP and also why I’m writing this. So, for us Black Friday is mostly about family.
November 9th, 2009 @ 9:42 pm
As much as I enjoy the deals of Black Friday. I don’t enjoy the crowds, lines, traffic, parking, etc… That’s why I prefer Cyber Monday! STP+Cyber Monday = Best Monday of the year. That’s the way to start a work week.
November 10th, 2009 @ 4:29 am
What I like most about Black Friday shopping are the exceptional deals (who doesn’t love to save money). Another thing I like about Black Friday is the overall excitement of the Holiday season. Winning a Sierra Trading Post gift card would be wonderful.
November 10th, 2009 @ 7:20 am
I love going to the stores on Black Friday morning with my mom (something that I wasn’t allowed to do until I became an adult). We get lots of coffee and donuts and then sleep for the rest of the day after it’s all over.
November 10th, 2009 @ 7:36 am
Although there is nothing prettier than the holidays and all the decorations here in NYC, shopping on black friday can be a zoo! Nothing better than to kick back in front of a fire and get it all done online..no waits, hassles or crowds…and you dont have to carry all the packages home! Once I finish shopping online, I can go out to the stores and the street and just look at the decorations and windows, without the stress!
November 10th, 2009 @ 7:40 am
Black Friday, the drama, the excitement, what isn’t there to love.
November 10th, 2009 @ 7:46 am
We don’t have Black Friday sale in Taiwan. Even though we can heard how crazy people are when they shop on that particular day. Shopping with Sierra Trading Post will be a nice way for me to start the very 1st experience of Black Friday shopping~~:D
November 10th, 2009 @ 8:00 am
Shopping on Black Friday is a tradition that I share with my 72-year-old mother. She doesn’t get around like I do, so she pushes the cart and stands in line while I dash around for the bargains. We peruse the ads the night before and plan which stores we’ll visit. When we’re done we go out to eat breakfast.
November 10th, 2009 @ 9:12 am
For generations, our family has enjoyed shopping on Black Friday.
I’ve gone since I was very young with my sister, my mom, my aunt, my grandmother and great-aunt. My grandmother is currently 91 years old and she’ll still be going with us this year. My great-aunt went with us up until her last year with us, when she was 95! We start really early, shop all day, have lunch and then crash at night
November 10th, 2009 @ 11:52 am
Ilove to shop….but black fridayis not my favorite day to shop adn this year I look forward to doing the computer shopping at sierra trading post while I enjoy a nice cup of herbal tea in my warm jamies, warm slippers in my nice quiet “people free” space! Good Luch to all the shoppers out there!
November 10th, 2009 @ 12:18 pm
Oh pretty please let me win the spree. I have lost a lot of weight and Seirra Trading Post has allowed me completely replace my wardrope twice for a fraction of what it would have cost me elsewhere. Black Friday will save me (and my family) from me having to run around nekkid over the holidays.
November 10th, 2009 @ 12:19 pm
I like shopping Black Friday deals on STP because I can do it in my underwear!
November 10th, 2009 @ 12:23 pm
I HATE Black Friday shopping out in the real world but I LOVE shopping Black Friday online, especially at Sierra Trading Post! I simply consider the fact that I am snuggled up warm at home in my jammies with a mug of cocoa. My trusty laptop is humming away and I am shopping contentedly with my choice of holiday music playing softly in the background. I have gloriously skipped getting up WAY TOO EARLY on the day after Thanksgiving to fight traffic, find a parking place, stand in line… Ahh, thank you STP!
November 10th, 2009 @ 12:24 pm
I love black friday for the CRAZY stories that come from it. Like when all of those tickle me elmo dolls came out and EVERYONE was buying them. I also love it for the craziness it adds to movies! I rarely see the craziness anymore like it was when I was younger BUT I’m waiting for the next big thing to come out so I can hear the hilariously funny, crazy, possessed shopping stories!!!
November 10th, 2009 @ 12:26 pm
For years, Black Friday has been a “girls day out” for our family! We start with the early sales, go out to breakfast, and shop til we drop. Sierra Trading Post has been a favorite of ours for many many years and the riddles are added fun with a great bonus! We LOVE STP and all the people who work there!
November 10th, 2009 @ 12:31 pm
Black Friday at the Malls…nah! Black Friday at Sierra Trading Post…yeah! Get online, get great deals and then get outside and enjoy it while everyone else is pushing and shoving inside the stores.
November 10th, 2009 @ 12:34 pm
I love black friday for the outdoor gear and the electronics. Typically, I have to work, though, and I never get out to shop. I’m hoping this year will be different. I saved some dough and am hoping to get all I want…
November 10th, 2009 @ 12:37 pm
Black Friday is a great way to get some great deals, but this year I have to work and will miss out on the fun and excitement of the day! This prize would be an awesome way for me to still save money on the items I need to get for family and friends.
November 10th, 2009 @ 12:38 pm
Well, I’m with some of the other posters here–I love a deal, but I’m not crazy about Black Friday, which has led to stampedes, injuries, and even death in retail stores. But when we shop online, we can nab some excellent deals for the people we love and stay out of the fray! Less hassle, more time to relax with family, and far less chance of missing out on the perfect gift.
November 10th, 2009 @ 12:41 pm
Black Friday. I’m all about it.
November 10th, 2009 @ 12:41 pm
Not only am I the biggest fan of Black Friday at Sierra Trading Post – I am the BIGGEST fan of Sierra Trading post period. I depend on the great deals that Sierra Trading post has to offer each and every day of the year. STP is the first place I check whenever I am needing anything from underwear to camping gear. It would be a rare day in my life that didn’t include a piece of clothing or use of an item I purchased at STP. I look forward to Black Friday not only to complete my holiday list but to pick up a few new goodies for me. Thanks again STP!
November 10th, 2009 @ 12:42 pm
Last year was my first VERY early morning Black Friday shopping experience…I’ve been sane all the other years! I get much more excited about ONLINE shopping! Thanks Sierra Trading Post!!!
November 10th, 2009 @ 12:45 pm
The thrill of hunt and the excitement of the deals on Black Friday make it the most challenging, yet rewarding day of the year for shopping. STP is by far my favorite online shopping resource and to have Black Friday deals will be awesome!
November 10th, 2009 @ 12:47 pm
Sierra Trading Post is great for shopping year round. I love the great deals. Living in Wyoming it is important to have to proper gear for the outdoors. Sierra Trading Post is where I find everything I need to outfit my whole family. Black Friday is just one of the great days to get a good deal. I try to make a local stop to STP when I am in that area, but I shop online often. It is a great spot to find the holiday essentials and my personal favorites. Christmas will sneak up on you. GET SHOPPING!
November 10th, 2009 @ 12:49 pm
Shopping on black friday is a family tradition, my sisters and I pour over the ads at Thanksgiving dinner and plan our strategies.
Black Friday AND Sierra Trading Post’s amazing values? Sounds like a perfect day to me. = )
November 10th, 2009 @ 12:53 pm
if i could spend black friday on my sofa shopping STP all day on my laptop, i would be one happy camper!
November 10th, 2009 @ 12:53 pm
I hate going out shopping on Black Friday because of the craziness on the roads, in the parking lots & in the retail stores, so having a chance to shop on-line and still take advantage of Black Friday bargains? What’s not to like!
November 10th, 2009 @ 12:56 pm
Black Friday is too early for Christmas shopping…so all those deals are just for ME!!!
…of course then my family hates me because I don’t have anything left that I want for Christmas.
November 10th, 2009 @ 1:00 pm
I don’t brave the crowds on Black Friday, but would much rather stay home and eat Turkey Day leftovers and sip a coffee while shopping! I have already been doing some shopping via Sierra Trading Post for Christmas–and for me.
You guys outfitted my every marathon need this summer!
November 10th, 2009 @ 1:03 pm
Woohooo…this would be great!
November 10th, 2009 @ 1:10 pm
On Black Friday, you can get great deals, buy all your Xmas gifts, and have them paid for by the end of the year.
November 10th, 2009 @ 1:11 pm
What do I love about Black Friday? The deals & the excitement of finding the perfect gifts for family and friends! What do I hate about Black Friday? The malls, the crowds & the crazy lunatics who are all out and about. And that is why I love shopping online (especially STP) from the comfort of my own home on Black Friday.
November 10th, 2009 @ 1:16 pm
I love Black Friday because everyone’s in the malls and no one’s on the trails. I get the trails all to myself!
November 10th, 2009 @ 1:18 pm
I always go out after the crowds have died down and people-watch. People get so crazed about items, its amusing. I sometimes buy some stuff, but most of my shopping is online.
November 10th, 2009 @ 1:24 pm
I do NOT love Black Friday shopping. I get way too claustrophobic around so many frantic people. I DO however love Black Friday shopping with SierraTradingPost.com. I can do all my shopping from the comfort of home!
November 10th, 2009 @ 1:44 pm
I LOVE shopping with Sierra Trading Post on Black Fridays, pink Mondays, yellow Tuesdays, Blue Wednesdays, orange Thursdays, Periwinkle Saturdays, and White Sundays!
Any day of the week in any color is a GOOD shopping trip at Sierra Trading Post!
November 10th, 2009 @ 2:51 pm
I fear that I will be too turkey-stuffed on Black Friday to be at the top of my shopping game.
November 10th, 2009 @ 3:27 pm
I love to stay home and hide! I buy EVERYTHING online during the holidays. This assures me a great deal and I don’t have to deal with all of the crowds!
November 10th, 2009 @ 3:50 pm
I LIVE FOR BLACK FRIdAY!!! Its a family tradition to get up at 3:00 am to be in lines at 4:30! We all look forward to it every year!
November 10th, 2009 @ 3:58 pm
black friday is cool
November 10th, 2009 @ 4:23 pm
Isn’t every day Black Friday at Sierra Trading Post? Why would I want to get up at an ungodly hour, go out in the cold and dark to stand in line forever and then find that what I wanted was sold out? I’ll stay home and shop Sierra in my jammies.
November 10th, 2009 @ 5:35 pm
Shopping lines at 4AM? No way! STP has the hands down, absolute best deals and the best service on the internet for all my outdoor adventure gear and gift needs! There’s no other place I’d shop on Black Friday or any other day to get top of the line items for the best prices. On Black Friday 2009, I’ll definitely be online at sierratradingpost.com to catch all the hot deals!
November 10th, 2009 @ 5:58 pm
Black Friday must be named after the ink on my fingers from all those store receipts. Not from S.T.P. website orders though. WAHOO!!
November 10th, 2009 @ 6:56 pm
will have to work on Black Friday, so I’ll miss the in store sales, this would be wonderful to win !! Love your store and your merchandise !!
November 10th, 2009 @ 7:24 pm
I love Black Fridays because I get the day off and get to relax at home. In the evening I can watch the news and see footage of all the silly people trampling each other to get inside the stores. Good times.
November 10th, 2009 @ 7:40 pm
Great products! Great prices! Great service! High quality gifts my family uses and enjoys–and I get to sleep late on Black Friday and watch the pushing and shoving at the stores from my recliner. STP is the perfect way to shop!
November 10th, 2009 @ 8:35 pm
The only civilized way to shop Black Friday is…ONLINE with STP! My wife hates you because I spend so much money and time on your site looking for the best deals on the best stuff! And of course, that is why I love you! And your customer service folks are the best! Helpful and always willing to make sure you are satisfied. Great Mdse at Great Prices with Great Service! And No lines!
November 10th, 2009 @ 9:19 pm
Why stand around in lines, inside, when you could be outside backpacking, cycling, running, or climbing? I’ll do all my holiday shopping as quickly as I can (and I can usually find gifts for everyone at Sierra Trading Post), and then head to the great outdoors for some fun of another kind!
November 10th, 2009 @ 9:26 pm
FULL PRICE!?! I never pay full price because I shop at SierraTradingPost.com. They supply me & my husband with all of our outdoor needs. Black Friday Deals? Can they go any lower? Well I guess it’s LIMBO Time!!!
November 10th, 2009 @ 10:34 pm
I look forward to when my life will be able to enjoy a Black Friday in a decorated city again. I do participate on line, often getting up at 4:00 PST to order. But then, I enjoy great sales every day on Sierra Trading Post’s site. I ordered much today.
November 10th, 2009 @ 10:44 pm
Black Friday is always fun because there are so many great deals. Since it was 11pm at night when I drove by the Cheyenne Sierra Trading Post while on vacation, it would be especially fun to go “Black Friday” shopping to make up for that tragic timing error!!
November 10th, 2009 @ 10:48 pm
It’s all about the deals.
November 10th, 2009 @ 10:57 pm
Deals, savings, looking better and saving cash at the same time, and not having to wait outside of a mall or big box store at 2:00AM to keep my place in line for a 6:00AM store opening.
November 11th, 2009 @ 12:11 am
Because it is now a tradition in my family… whoever is the last to wake up gets stuck in the house with the kids
and the early birds get to go shopping!
November 11th, 2009 @ 12:12 am
My favorite thing about Black Friday shopping is that everyone else goes out to do it. I get to stay home in the quiet house all cozy in my pjs, eat leftovers, and shop my heart out online. I don’t have to deal with parking wars, crowds, or lugging heavy packages. When the rest of the family gets home tense and exhausted, I’m relaxed and revived, having accomplished way more than the tired mall shoppers.
November 11th, 2009 @ 2:01 am
Black Friday? Here in Scotland, the ONLY way to enjoy it’s online. Thanks Sierra Trading Post!
November 11th, 2009 @ 2:28 am
I’m a bargain hunter not gonna even tempt to hide that so what would I not love about black Friday? I can’t even imagine what sierra trading post is gonna offer us considering how great of deals they already have. I wasn’t brought up in a family that did black Friday shopping but spent two thanksgivings with one of my best friends families while in college and was amazed. More then the amazing deals that can be found, I enjoy watching everyone run around the store holding there ads and lists searching endlessly for items that may or maynot be in their correct places. More recently I have enjoyed the online release of some of the things so that stores that I can still get in on the deals from stores I am not fortunate to have near me. Like previously mentioned, black Friday is quite the deal for bargain hunters including myself =)
November 11th, 2009 @ 5:15 am
Black Friday at Sierra Trading Post – any reason to leave your home the day after Thanksgiving? Make my Black Friday STP!
November 11th, 2009 @ 5:17 am
Black Friday offers a chance for my struggling daughter who has 3 children to get her kids Christmas presents otherwise they couldn’t afford. I have bought many items from Sierra Trading Post and have been well satisfied with the quality and prices you offer. It’s like you offer Black Friday all the time.
November 11th, 2009 @ 5:40 am
Black Friday…when the white Angel of shopping descends and gives you a link to the best sales ever…on Sierra trading post.com!!!!
November 11th, 2009 @ 6:12 am
I have been a hardcore online Christmas shopper since 1998 and Black Friday (all the way through the weekend ) has been the best way to get almost all of my holiday shopping done-without the crowds!!!!! As the packages arrive at my door through the holiday season it’s just like my own personal visits from Santa Claus.
November 11th, 2009 @ 6:15 am
I love the adrenaline rush and basking in glory of saving money!
November 11th, 2009 @ 7:21 am
I love Sierra Trading Post. It’s my “Go-To” store for all my shopping. Great bargains for my whole family. So excited to hear about this Black Friday offer. Keeping my fingers crossed…and toes!
November 11th, 2009 @ 7:26 am
The best deals from the best place. I love to get all equipt from STP. It has the best online shopping. Getting a good start on the holidays always makes me feel more relaxed and gives me a chance to really enjoy them! I love STP!
November 11th, 2009 @ 7:32 am
Black Friday has become our annual tradition!!! We get together EARLY with coffee and hot chocolate and the game plan, and GET that SHOPPING DONE! This year we have to be even more pennywise, so winning this spree would be a Godsend!!! Sierra is my absolute favorite shopping site, too! Thanks for the opportunity to enter!!!
November 11th, 2009 @ 9:31 am
Get great Black Friday deals from the comfort of your own home. Shop online with Sierra Trading Post for high quality products at terrific discounted prices.
November 11th, 2009 @ 9:52 am
black Friday with STP is so cool!! Got to get ready for more gears.
November 11th, 2009 @ 10:18 am
Never shopped Black Fiday with STP but I look forward to it this year because I will do most of my Black Friday online.
November 11th, 2009 @ 12:34 pm
I love the tradition of shopping on Black Friday because it is something fun to do after Thanksgiving while family is around, and gets us all excited about the holiday season.
November 11th, 2009 @ 12:50 pm
I love Black Friday. It’s the day I can Shop Like Santa and Spend Like Scrooge with all the amazing deals and bargains online. No 4 a.m. lines for me – I tiptoe to the computer and secretly save away!
November 11th, 2009 @ 2:54 pm
I usually avoid Black Friday because crowds make me nervous. STP allows me the option to do all my deal-finding and Christmas shopping in one easy place!
November 11th, 2009 @ 3:59 pm
I love love LOVE BF shopping! BUT I live 180 miles from the nearest town with decent shopping. I’m serious! 180 miles! Can you imagine having to drive 180 miles to get to the mall? That’s why I love the internet and places like STP so I can still get the deals I love at a great price! Happy Black Friday!!
November 11th, 2009 @ 5:27 pm
I love the great deals if I can catch them. I particularly like Sierra Trading Post because its online and convenient.
November 11th, 2009 @ 5:31 pm
I refuse to shop in a store!!!!! I would rather have a rash all over my body than shop. That is why I live on the STP website and only shop for my wife,ok thats a big lie. Love Sierra trading post and Jesus is the reason.
November 11th, 2009 @ 6:03 pm
On Black Friday my father (76), who is not traditionally as shopper, and I get up early and go to one store together. I enjoy that early time with him. STP in the afternoon with a major shopping spree would be the icing on the cake!
November 11th, 2009 @ 8:19 pm
Wonderful company
November 11th, 2009 @ 9:59 pm
Black Friday shopping online, no lines, no parking? I’m in!
November 11th, 2009 @ 11:00 pm
Living in a small town/rural area, Black Friday has always meant a shopping trip to the big city to ’shop ’til we dropped’. I guess I’ve always enjoyed the drama of it, and the sense of accomplishment in saving up to get the gifts I couldn’t afford the rest of the year.
November 12th, 2009 @ 12:04 am
I am living in the middle of the Pacific on a tiny atoll where the highest land point in 750,000 square miles is a mere 30 feet above sea level. You’d think that living on a Pacific island would be its own particular pleasure, but here’s a partial list of what I’m missing: ANY item you can find at SIERRA TRADING POST.
The thing I like most about FREE BLACK FRIDAY? For a guy making $2 an hour in a country where drinking water is $1 a gallon, the internet is 28k dial-up, and the heat and humidity are blazing year round, even with the fantastically low pricing at Sierra Trading Post, a new pair of Tevas remains out of reach. Winning a FREE BLACK FRIDAY would mean an end to aching feet, a hat to ward off the burning rays, and breathable-fabric shirts, shorts and underwear to keep chafing at bay.
November 12th, 2009 @ 9:14 am
I love shopping online on Black Friday. We don’t get a day off on that day, so there’s nothing better than picking up some great deals online while I’m in the office and my friends are sleeping in. Who needs to be bitter when you can just be a virtual shopper? OK, I’m a touch bitter. But still.
November 12th, 2009 @ 9:23 am
i love black friday shopping – especially online – price checking, deal making thinking of the ones i love and what will bring a smile to their face under the tree! i also love it because it’s a great opportunity to show GRACE – people are stressed and anxious and it’s awesome to let them cut in line and thank those who serve us in the store.
November 12th, 2009 @ 9:24 am
Just the phraze, “Black Friday” makes me want to run for the hills. When I think of the throngs of people, all wrestling for that one special item. Yikes! That’s just not me. But shopping on-line for “Black Friday”? Now that almost makes me drool! To top it all off, make that a shopping spree at STP? That would be just priceless!!
November 12th, 2009 @ 9:31 am
Black Friday shopping is a fun tradition!!! I remember growing up and going to the malls and various stores. It made you feel like part of some great tradition as you enjoyed the opening of the holidays with tons of people, most of whom you did not know. It was always neat to walk into one of the big malls or grand stores like Macy’s and just see all the fascinating displays and potential presents you could buy for others, or want for yourself!!! Course, as a kid or young teen this was neat, as an adult, sometimes it just blows my mind how we mindlessly follow the herd mentality!!! It is somehow really neat and fun though in a totally materialistic way!!!
November 12th, 2009 @ 9:42 am
I am a morning person AND I love to save money, so shopping early on Black Friday makes me smile. I cant get enough of Sierra Trading post. I love their fleece socks, fabulous dinnerware, king size sheets, clothing and shoes. I think this is a fabulous idea!
November 12th, 2009 @ 9:55 am
Sierra Trading post is mine and my husbands favorite store!!! We could go crazy in there and buy all of our Christmas gifts for everyone on our list as well as get some winter gear for ourselves. Winning the black Friday contest would be so wonderful because I’ve never been able to truly experience a black Friday and this year I really want to get up early and go crazy shopping and hit our favorite stores, and of course make a stop at Sierra Trading Post.
November 12th, 2009 @ 10:01 am
I love STP. My family and I have been shopping here for over 10 years and have saved over $10,000 in the process. Thank you STP for your dedication to finding the sweetest deals on the planet!!!!!!
November 12th, 2009 @ 10:29 am
Shopping at Sierra Trading Post is like having Black Friday every day, except from the comfort of my laptop!
I LOVE this site for everything from shoes, to camping gear, to running gear! Sunglasses, kid stuff… What else. Oh the only thing better than shopping STP would be to get to shop STP for FREE!
November 12th, 2009 @ 10:46 am
I love Sierra Trading Post and Black Friday!!! I can’t wait to get all my christmas shopping done at 1 place and way before the deadline!!!
I tell all my friends “I got it at Sierra!”
All my cool name brand items for way less than at those fancy out door stores!
Happy Holidays, everyone!!!
November 12th, 2009 @ 11:28 am
I don’t thing there’s anything I’ve ever liked about Black Friday shopping – I would much rather be out on the trail than in line at a box store or in front of my computer. But since STP makes it easier to get outdoors, and helps me to be more comfortable while I’m out there, well, I could probably be convinced to make an exception – especially this year, since my mom, who has a rekindled passion for the outdoors, desperately needs some items to keep her safe out there (after her recent search-and-rescue-worthy debacle), my new GSP rescue pup needs some doggie outdoor gear, and I’ve got a 300+ mile bike ride with a friends to plan for! So, let’s just say STP might be giving me a reason to like Black Friday shopping!
November 12th, 2009 @ 1:14 pm
BEST SHOPPING DAY on BUDGET…more for less….PLUS, the RUSH of it all…FUN, FUN, FUN.
Plenty for the Women’s-Homeless-Shelter in Corvallis & my family, too.
November 12th, 2009 @ 1:19 pm
I’ve been known to pitch a tent outside stores in prepartion for black Friday. True it isn’t camping at it’s finest and I rather be amongst nature but if the deals are flowing then you can bet I’ll be there. I’m looking forward to outfitting my family with the finest outdoor gear for our many adventures to come!!
November 12th, 2009 @ 3:32 pm
Love Sierra Trading Post, I shopped the catalog beginning in the 1980’s. I have shopped online for years now, which the only way I like to shop on black Friday (or any other day)and could really use a gift card this year. Thanks
November 12th, 2009 @ 4:42 pm
Killer deals is greater than getting killed.
Black Friday by the warm glow of my computer.
Low prices at STP with quality products.
Peace
November 12th, 2009 @ 4:43 pm
Black Friday shopping is exhilarating: the surprises, the crowds, the adrenaline, not to mention the fantastic deals!
November 12th, 2009 @ 7:56 pm
black friday shopping at STP is more fun than climbing the fang in Vail, CO. well, almost as much.
November 12th, 2009 @ 10:51 pm
I love the bargains on Sierra and always get great deals. While all my friends are out circling the lot looking for parking spaces and fighting crowds on Black Friday I am comfortable in my pink bunny slippers shopping in the privacy of my own home. YEAH Sierra!!
November 13th, 2009 @ 3:22 am
One thing that I love about Black Friday is the planning and prep that goes on Thanksgiving Day. My sister, my self ,others, and sister-in-laws sit down and look over the sales papers. We plan where everyone will go. Usually 2 of us will go to different places. Sometimes we have other family members that join us. 2 people will go to one place and two people will go to another. One of the most special things that we do is to meet at my Mother’s for a big breakfast early Friday morning unless it is a store that open very early. My Mama cooks the best breakfast. We keep in contact with our cell phones and sometime during the day , we meet for a quick meal.We are on the phone constantly checking to see if each person has found what the other needs. After shopping we get together at the shed to eat oysters with the family and plan for our big BBQ on Saturday. It is truly a family shopping and eating affair. We have done this for many years and love it.
November 13th, 2009 @ 5:56 am
I love Black Friday shopping because for me, that is and always will be the kickoff of the Christmas season. I love the jostling crowds, the beautiful decorations and window displays. The brightly colored lights and the rolls and rolls of wrapping paper. Sending Christmas cards out in the mail on my way to the mall. The wonderful aromas of freshly baked holiday goodies that emanates from the kiosks as I pass them. The sense of excitement as I pick out gifts for friends and family to open (hoping they will like them). And at the end of the day the relieved, confident feeling I get, knowing that everyone I couldn’t find something for, at a mall or big box store, I can just go home, log on and find the perfect gift for at Sierra Trading Post.
November 13th, 2009 @ 6:44 am
Sitting in my warm room in my jammies, sipping coffee, eating my turkey sandwich and finding perfect STP gifts for everyone .. or getting out before dawn into iffy weather to be pushed and shoved to the point of exhaustion … There’s a choice here? I don’t think so! An at-home Black Friday on the computer is the way to enjoy the day.
November 13th, 2009 @ 7:03 am
I love the excitement and savings of shopping on BlackFriday. To me Black Friday is the official jump off of the Christmas shopping.
November 13th, 2009 @ 9:32 am
I love getting all my shopping done in one day and if I can do it from home that would be the cats MEOW!!! Love shopping on line deals.
November 13th, 2009 @ 9:47 am
STP is already my favorite place to shop online, hands down. I love the high quality things they sell, at fantastic prices, with an excellent easy-to-shop website and speedy shipping. I can’t wait to see what Black Friday brings at STP!
November 13th, 2009 @ 11:27 am
Black Friday is truly a celebration in savings…It helps to keep your checkbook in the “Black”!
November 13th, 2009 @ 1:17 pm
I love black friday because by that date, I will have my shopping in stores completed. I will do the rest of my shopping on-line. The bargains are good but I can’t handle the crowds so I go for sierra trading company bargains instead
November 13th, 2009 @ 1:37 pm
This year Black Friday is very special to me… My daugher is coming to visit and we will have so much fun shopping together. Her favorite thing to do is online shop with me!!! My favorite thing to do is be with her when she online shops!!!
November 13th, 2009 @ 2:39 pm
I go to the STC website first and foremost for my favorite shoes and great, casual, comfortable, affordable, quality clothes. I check it at least three times a week. Love it Love it Love it
November 13th, 2009 @ 4:25 pm
Shopping Black Friday online is the only way to go.
November 13th, 2009 @ 4:50 pm
AAAAWWWWEEEESSSSOOOOMMMMEEEE!!!!
November 13th, 2009 @ 5:42 pm
I love the freebies of Black Friday! I just hate the getting up early part. And the busy parking lots. But the great deals are worth it. Every penny I can save is going towards another pair of STP shoes!
November 13th, 2009 @ 10:00 pm
The top ten things I love about Black Friday shopping:
10. Stores open really early
9. Everything is on sale
8. I eat lunch at 8:30AM
7. I burn calories running from store to store
6. I thrive on creating and perfecting a shopping strategy plan
5. I can spend the day with my daughter
4. I LOVE watching people lose their minds in the quest to buy a sale item…whether they need it or not.
3. There is NO SCHOOL, so I don’t have to go to work that day.
2. It’s fun!
AND, the number 1 reason I love shopping on Black Friday is because I can buy all sorts of prizes for myself under the guise of doing my holiday shopping for others :>
GOOD TIMES!
November 14th, 2009 @ 7:44 am
I look forward to black Friday – love the bargains – I will do most of my shopping on-line this year will be checking out STP for the great bargains and FREE SHIPPING!
November 14th, 2009 @ 11:47 am
We discovered STP over 3 years ago and our family has always searched here first for our gear…be it kayaking, pet needs, clothing, etc. We’ve turned many of our friends onto the site especially since there are few “outdoor” gear stores in our area. Thanks again for the great deals.
November 14th, 2009 @ 12:02 pm
Black Friday shopping online is wonderful – I don’t have to change out of my PJs.
November 14th, 2009 @ 5:58 pm
I love seeing the little squabbles in the stores over the last sale item and who touched it first! Ha!
November 14th, 2009 @ 8:52 pm
Give me a day with lots of sales and add online shopping with it; then I say “WOW – what a DEAL. Nothing like sitting in the comfort of your own home and getting what you want with just a few keystrokes. Thanks Sierra Trading Post!
November 14th, 2009 @ 11:52 pm
The Black Friday shop for me is the equivalent of deer season opening day for my husband. Both are used as a way to extend our budget and share with others what we’ve found. As much as I love the Black Friday shop, I won’t be out at the stores this year. Instead, I will be back to work after sharing an irreplaceable twelve weeks at home with our newborn. So you see, winning a spree from STP would be especially sweet this year!
November 15th, 2009 @ 4:37 am
Used to be Black Friday meant early rise, cup of coffee and on the road by 4:30 ready to deal with the crowds. Time is a-changin’ now it means slippers a cup of coffee and sitting at home on the computer – another advantage to WWW! I have a friend who is headed to college in cold country from the desert Southwest – would love to be able to help her out with STP closet!
November 15th, 2009 @ 7:17 am
Black Friday can be one of the most effective ways to stretch the holiday shopping dollars; I love the deals, but can do without the crowds, so I use Sierra Trading Post to find something for everyone on my shopping list!
November 15th, 2009 @ 8:13 am
Black Friday shopping I used to hate! Now that I do it from the comfort of my pajamas and couch it is one of my favorite days. It is like work gave me a day off to shop from home! Hands down, my favorite on-line store is Sierra Trading.com.
November 15th, 2009 @ 9:50 am
I love Black Friday shopping because while everyone else starts the holiday panic, I am already done my Holiday shopping and stay at home, enjoying wrapping all the lovely bargains I got on Sierra all year round!! I get myself organized to wrap and ship and stay close to my computor for those last minute items I may have overlooked…..www.sierratradingpost.com ROCKs my Holiday world~~
November 15th, 2009 @ 10:59 am
I love that I can do my Black Friday shopping as early in the morning as I want –without the crazy crowds!!!
Thanks!
November 15th, 2009 @ 7:04 pm
New STP song lyrics to a classic STP song
I AM loading up with gifts that somebody’s gonna get from Sierra’s Black Friday…
I AM loading up with gifts that somebody’s gonna get cuz they’re darn good prices!!
November 15th, 2009 @ 9:25 pm
Online Black Friday has all the thrill and deals you get at the mall without the traffic and crowds. Sierra Trading Post will be my first stop!
November 15th, 2009 @ 11:33 pm
I love that with the internet black friday deals I don’t have to wrestle with grandma spazz to get a great deal. My husbands gettiing new boots from Sierra Trading Post for Christmas and I won’t get trampled getting them!!!
November 16th, 2009 @ 3:49 am
I love black Friday shopping- from the comfort of my own home! No traffic, no lines,no stress, no overspending. Sierra Trading Post rocks!!
November 16th, 2009 @ 4:04 am
For many years I worked in retail management and Black Friday meant making numbers, staffing, displays, traffic, etc. Now as a teacher, I get the opportunity to experience it from the opposite spectrum. Newly living in an area with a slim selection of gear and clothing for my outdoor adventures, I look forward to seeing the great specials STP has to offer on this sacred of retail days! Not sure that anything can beat the great prices they have all year round
November 16th, 2009 @ 4:29 am
Very simple, people shop Black Friday for 1 reason, get the BEST deal. At Sierra Trading Post you already get the BEST PRICE any where, so on their Black mFriday it is like they are giving the gear/clothing ect away.
November 16th, 2009 @ 7:45 am
I won’t go freeze waiting for stores to open in the middle of the night to participate in a riot; but I will pour a fresh cup of Joe and sit at my warm computer and shop Sierra Trading Post for great deals
November 16th, 2009 @ 8:34 am
Who could love black fridays. Deals deals deals. Love the enegery in the air of everyone trying to get that one special big steal of a deal.
November 16th, 2009 @ 1:02 pm
My favorite part of Black Friday is being up early enough to see the sun rise – I wake up in the dark and lay there wondering whether it’s worth battling the crowds. Some years I decide it’s not, but I always get up anyway to watch the sun rise. Though at first glance Black Friday seems about greed, I think it truly is more about the spirit of giving. The prospect of being able to give someone else a holiday gift that’s more than they imagined you’d be able to give them (and watching their eyes light up in the process)is a pretty fun thing.
November 16th, 2009 @ 1:03 pm
This is our first year in the USA. I have heard lots about ‘Black Friday’ and in 2 weeks time I get to experience it. Given that Sierra Trading Post is already pretty cheap I am wondering how anyone could beat their prices….but looking forward to see what is available!
November 16th, 2009 @ 1:42 pm
I hate Black Friday shopping unless it is online at my very favorite store – Sierra Trading Post – where I always find great deals 365 days a year.
November 16th, 2009 @ 6:37 pm
Black Friday has always been a bit scary to me, but I would love to shop at home at Sierra Trading Post!!!!
November 17th, 2009 @ 2:54 am
I love Black Friday shopping because it is on “Friday” and it keeps me in the “Black”. Happy Shopping!
November 17th, 2009 @ 7:29 am
I wait all year for Black Friday shopping. It is the one day a year where I can go out and buy big pricey items that I wouldn’t get on a normal day. I usually have one or two items in mind since my strategy is to only go to one store. It is too hard to shop at multiple stores because parking lots fill up by the time you get to the second store! Over the years it has been harder and harder to stand in store lines at 3 or 4am… that is why this year I’m doing all my shopping online at STP!
November 17th, 2009 @ 8:03 am
The “thrill of the bargain”, which for me is buying what I need at an incredibly low price -a price so low that, in all likelihood, it will never be seen again – is the appeal of Black Friday shopping. One needn’t reflect long to realize that Sierra Trading Post provides both the benefits and the satisfaction of a Black Friday shopping experience year round, by offering varied and high quality merchandise at discounts that no one would ever expect to find.
November 17th, 2009 @ 8:30 am
I cannot tell a lie. I hate black friday. I worked retail for years. That being said, I love this type of blackfriday where I no longer work retail and I can shop on-line and enjoy a great day outside with my family being active instead of in a mall.
November 17th, 2009 @ 8:35 am
Black Friday shopping — it’s not NEAR the hassle people think, IF they do it right. My wife and I love it. Sometimes we divide and conquer, keeping in touch on our cell phones. But mostly it’s NOT about HAVING to get something, but just being out and IF we get the item, fine; if not, well, that’s okay too. We will survive with or without the item. People who “fight” and/or “get ugly” to get an item and who stress out until they do, well, perhaps it’s time to rethink Christmas. This is not a fight, but a time for family…and if getting gifts turns you into someone you’re not proud of (or who you would not want others to know about), then step back, relax and stay away from the madhouse — if you can’t be “good” in the setting of Black Friday, avoid it…stay home, get a cup of coffee, make some pancakes and shop online instead — STP is a good place to start! : )
November 17th, 2009 @ 11:37 am
That it is only one day a year
November 17th, 2009 @ 11:39 am
I love the idea of Black Friday, but not waiting in the dark, cold wind and sometimes blowing snow for the sales to start. I love better this idea of shopping online with a cup of hot cocoa, dreaming of happy faces on Christmas morning!
November 17th, 2009 @ 11:56 am
Black Friday…everyone says it’s the great deals and I’m as big a gearhead as anyone, but the true joy is seeing that little granny throwing elbows at me looking to get dibs on the helmet-compatible hard shell with dual pit zips that she wants while talking smack about dropping me in her skin tracks for the freshies. That’s the kind of girl I want to hang out with and they come out in droves on Black Friday. Absolutely count me in!
November 17th, 2009 @ 12:14 pm
I love the thrill of achievement when I get a good deal on an item.
November 17th, 2009 @ 12:29 pm
I love Black Friday because there’s shopping involved! Fun shopping when the price tags start being slashed and the people start rushing into see who gets the best buy first! That’s fun! That’s what I love about Black Friday.
November 17th, 2009 @ 12:51 pm
I love Black Friday! I love your store! What a fun contest to have. I love to save money and be able to buy even more for my family and friends.
Debbie C.
November 17th, 2009 @ 1:28 pm
I’m a bargain huntress every day of the year, so a day built for sales is really my time to shine! STP makes it easy for me to get good deals on Black Friday and always. With such a wide selection of merchandise, I can pick up awesome Christmas presents for everyone- Comfy walking shoes for my mom, some ski bibs for my winter-loving dad, a warm, comfy hoody for my always-cold sister, and some treats for my pup- and still have a little cash left over to pick up something for myself. And everyone knows that getting exactly what you want is the best present of all
November 17th, 2009 @ 2:08 pm
I have never experienced Black Friday, It sounds exciting.
November 17th, 2009 @ 2:26 pm
A Sierratp shopping spree will keep me warm while I am outside enjoying our cold winters, and will keep me busy tweeting winter pics in my Sierratp gear.
November 17th, 2009 @ 2:55 pm
I love Black Friday because I can shop really early and buy awesome gifts at a great price !!!
Plus a little something, something for myself
November 17th, 2009 @ 6:39 pm
Black Friday shopping works for me, especially if Sierra has great deals. Getting a chance to get it all free is even better. Sierra needs to give lessons to other online retailers in how to treat their customers. After 20 years of shopping at Sierra, I tell everyone what a great place Sierra is and that they won’t be sorry spending money there!!
November 17th, 2009 @ 7:14 pm
12:01a.m. and their is no greater event on earth. Like all true adventurers, Black Friday is my 24 hour gear buying, deal making, no wife premission slip needed, free for all, shop till failure, no excuses required, spend as i please, for the lastest and greatest camping equip period.
November 17th, 2009 @ 9:21 pm
Because I live in the Republic of the Marshall Islands, on the international date line, I can experience Black Friday twice. I can hop on a flight to Hawaii and do again the next day, but all I really need to do is shop teh best way possible: sierratradingpost.com! No black friday lines or anything!
November 17th, 2009 @ 11:11 pm
Who doesn’t like to spend. And what better way to work off those extra pounds gained the day before BLACK FRIDAY.
November 17th, 2009 @ 11:13 pm
“BLACK FRIDAY” Sounds like a movie based on the shoppers you’ll see beating each other black and blue to get the best deal. It’s a family tradition where I come from, the shopping that is.
November 18th, 2009 @ 7:01 am
Buffalo, N.Y has long cold winters that requires dependable warm outerwear gear and as far as I am concerned there is no better way to spend my Black Friday other than shopping with my Sierra Trading Post winnings!!!!!! SIERRA YOU ROCK !!!!!!!!!!
November 18th, 2009 @ 10:06 am
I love Black Friday shopping, especially at Sierra Trading Post, since they have by far the best deals and best quality brands. They almost take the “black” out of Black Friday, making it a truly enjoyable experience.
November 18th, 2009 @ 10:15 am
I am Free Black Friday’s biggest fan! Want to know why?? Times are tough and a free shopping spree would pick me up like Aladdin on his magic carpet! Everyone deserves to have a little shopping fun during the holidays and what better way to do it than with a Sierra Trading Post Black Friday event! WOOHOOO!
November 18th, 2009 @ 10:24 am

November 18th, 2009 @ 12:21 pm
I love the outdoors and high adventure but being queued up in the freezing cold out side the door of a store in order to have the opportunity to be trampled, maimed, and quite possibly killed is a little bit of an extreme adventure even for me…so good buy brick and mortar store and hello virtual store…1st up is sierratradingpost.com
November 18th, 2009 @ 1:33 pm
BLACK FRIDAY IS REALLY BLESSING FRIDAY SINCE STP CARES ABOUT GIVING TO THEIR CUSTOMERS!

November 18th, 2009 @ 4:56 pm
The one and only great thing about black Friday- shopping online, not in line, to get great deals!
November 18th, 2009 @ 5:02 pm
Hello,
I have never experienced a Black Friday shopping experience, is it fun? Is it similar to the fun I experienced when I went to a mall a few years ago during the Christmas season? Never did it again…
Your offer snuck up on me…
I came upstairs tonight to check my email about hopefully, finalizing, Thanksgiving plans with my family-on-their-own…
We still need to confirm which kids can come home… what time they will arrive.. and, how long their schedules allow them to stay… No responses yet, still a little early I guess… We have the where and who is cooking what covered though…
I have been checking your catalogs for a gift… warm socks for my wife are always an appreciated stocking stuffer… (wives AND husbands know why). If I could shop, not sure what my two daughters and son would appreciate… I’d have to look again.
Thank you for the offer, bye.
November 18th, 2009 @ 5:13 pm
To be honest, I’m not Black Friday’s number one fan…
All those ladies eyeballing the last price-slashed set of golf-balls with a glint in their eye can be a little daunting. What I AM a fan of is our family’s recently established tradition (led by my Mom, aka the Batteries Not Required Shopper – the woman can go all day) where all the gals present for Thanksgiving, from my youngest able-to-walk-on-her-own niece to “Granny”, assemble at a RIDICULOUS hour that Friday morning to spend the day bonding over snagging deals, saving money and snaring a spot in line. We tag-team shop and then swop partners, tossing around ideas for the perfect gift for the others, making it much less of a task. If we all make it through alive, we reward ourselves with a nice meal out together at whatever restaurant is still open. I used to consider Black Friday an apt name (honoring it by dressing as if I were attending a funeral, mostly because I’m not up to color coordinating anything at that pre-dawn hour we’re required to rise and prepare for our day in the trenches) but since Mom rarely asks for anything for herself, giving up one day a year to brave the crowds as a united female front has become an easy enough, and surprisingly fun, sacrifice…I’m just grateful there are 364 days to recuperate before I have to do it again!
November 18th, 2009 @ 5:47 pm
Black Friday should have been on the 13th.
November 18th, 2009 @ 6:21 pm

Even though Sierra Trading Post is a bargain hunter’s dream come true any day of the year, Black Friday is the ultimate adventure. Schematics of the stores are branded in one’s head while memorizing the routes needed to obtain the door buster specials. Steam rises from the strategic shoppers’ coffee mugs while waiting in the crisp winter morning for the retail store to unlock its doors. Friends are made during short conversations about the great buys while waiting to be greeted by the employees when to store starts this annual historic event. The fabulous deals are the driving force behind the excitement.
Sierra Trading Post offers the best in quality for many items at incredible rock bottom prices – the true one stop shopping for a wide spectrum of people; from the business professional to the rugged outdoors fanatic. So prior to the sun rising on Black Friday, I along with the other knowledgeable shoppers will be at our first and final destination of the day, Sierra Trading Post, ready to check off the wish lists of our family and friends. Hope to see you all there!!
November 18th, 2009 @ 7:54 pm
I love balck friday because I can almost buy everything for my kids and wife at lowest price.Family happy bacause we save money.
November 18th, 2009 @ 9:53 pm
I love going shopping all day with all the girls in my family. I love saving money. My family has a contest to see who saved the most money on black friday. The winner gets free meal.
November 19th, 2009 @ 12:12 am
Any shopping done on “Black Friday” should be done with a plan in hand and at least 3 or 4 sisters, aunts, moms & bestfrinds. The group sets up a battle plan, lists are drawn, assignments are made, women are dressed and ready for battle. Battle commenses at 0500hrs. Battle ceases at 1700hrs. Now follows the Beautiful and Blessed Holiday Season to each of our families. And as we celebrate this holiday season may we remember to give thanks to all of our soldiers serving overseas,we thank you for giving your time and freedom to fight for our freedom and for that we thank you profoundly.AMEN
November 19th, 2009 @ 12:40 am
Wow! Black Friday shopping prices are now going online to a few sites. Sounds great. This would be so much easier to do sitting at home with the laptop looking up items on STP, listening to new age music in the back ground ,and drinking a pot of herbal tea/or whatever.
ONE BIG THING ABOUT THE BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING ONLINE —It allows many individuls who are not physically able for what ever the reason to participate in NON-TRADITIONAL BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING FESTIVITIES.
November 19th, 2009 @ 2:37 am
well, i haven’t experienced black friday yet. (never had that kind of money to spend) but it must be awesome. and anything FREE is always greeeeeeeeeeeeeat!and low prices are a big plus. =)
November 19th, 2009 @ 6:37 am
Is this the first annual official BF event from STP ? If so I will be a charter participant.
November 19th, 2009 @ 6:41 am
The best thing about Black Friday is that it is every day at STP and you can do it all from home.
November 19th, 2009 @ 7:11 am
So Easy–No Long Lines-Great
Customer Service, Too!
November 19th, 2009 @ 7:51 am
What I love most about Black Friday is that so many people are shopping and thus are not on the mountain. I will either hike or ski depending upon snow conditions. I am also a loyal Sierra Trading Post customer and have gotten much of my hiking and ski gear off of your website. Thanks!
November 19th, 2009 @ 8:45 am
I’m not much of a shopper anymore, but I admit that I find online Black Friday deals intoxicating… I wonder how I’ll do at STP’s sale!
November 19th, 2009 @ 10:14 am
I love shopping any day but the deals on black Friday are great if your a careful shopper. That’s why I love Sierra Trading Post, it’s like every day is black Friday!
November 19th, 2009 @ 12:18 pm
Black Friday is great because people bring such energy to the day. The idea and enthusiasm for the upcoming holidays really begins to shine. While everyone likes a great deal, its amazing to watch everyone have such enthusiasm for those people in their lives that they really care about. The joy when someone finds that perfect item for someone in their life. It’s not about the cost at that point, but that thoughtfulness and caring in the choice. Of course, finding it at a great price is just frosting on the cake…
November 19th, 2009 @ 12:31 pm
I love black Friday it’s hectic it’s fun and with online shopping its a breeze
Sierra Trading Post is a great place to shop and with added coupons I can do all my shopping at one place thank the lord I have three boys who love your clothes.
November 19th, 2009 @ 1:01 pm
I love the amazing deals that can only be found on one day of the year. I also love the hustle that begins the christmas season
November 19th, 2009 @ 1:43 pm
Love you products even without a sale, Keep up the good work.
Eric Runde
November 19th, 2009 @ 2:17 pm
The awesome deals on Black Friday and the thrill of getting a good deal is my favorite part of Black Friday Shopping.
November 19th, 2009 @ 2:33 pm
the deals… duh!
November 19th, 2009 @ 4:29 pm
Someone else commented on the crowds, the lines, the parking and the traffic. I like to do most of my shopping online on account of all that but I would venture out to STP for deals beyond what they normally offer. Love Sierra Trading Post for their great value, good selection, great brands and the free shipping, too.
November 19th, 2009 @ 4:55 pm
I love Black Friday for all the internet deals. I hate shopping in stores but somehow I love sitting at home and checking out the deals online!
November 19th, 2009 @ 5:06 pm
I am having my first really fun black Friday. I intend to get a great cup of coffee and sit at my computer and shop the bargains at Sierra Trading Post. This is my first time on-line Black Friday Shopping and I am jazzed…come on deals!!!
November 19th, 2009 @ 5:16 pm
I am in a wheelchair and trust me, that’s worse than Christmas shopping so doing my shopping on Black Friday just by sitting at my computer is a lifesaver and you can’t beat the prices! Happy Holidays
November 19th, 2009 @ 5:22 pm
I love the black friday so much that I hope more and more people can know this day and try to find some amzing great gift from STP for their family.HAHA
November 19th, 2009 @ 5:22 pm
i love black friday because this yr. it is the day after my 49th birthday and i love the shopping, the people, the sales, the food, the music, it’s a fun, fun day to go shopping on black friday…
November 19th, 2009 @ 5:27 pm
Just to make myself feel better, I’m going to line up in front of my house at 2 am. Then, at 5 am I will dash through the front door and knock down my family as I run to my computer to see if I won. It will be just like a REAL Black Friday at the mall!!
November 19th, 2009 @ 5:35 pm
Love living up North-only one drawback -No shopping malls!
It’d be so cool to be in my pj’s, with a cup of joe. My two Purrfect buddies would assist me in their cat’s pj’s & all would go well!
November 19th, 2009 @ 7:07 pm
I am a nursing student, and have absolutely no time (or money) to Christmas shop. What is wonderful with on-line sites, and especially Sierra Trading Post, is that I can do all my shopping when I can get to the “store”, which is usually about 4 am. And I don’t have to sacrifice good deals for time anymore…it’s all in one place, and it’s 24-7. Merry Christmas, everyone!
November 19th, 2009 @ 7:28 pm
Friday after Thanksgiving is for the Huskers kickin heck out of the puffaloes…not for shopping, unless it’s online and gets me outfitted for a fly fishing trip.
November 19th, 2009 @ 7:40 pm
My husband calls me the Shopping Queen because I find the absolute best deals, and having Black Friday online is the best of both worlds. While I love being out in the crowd just to share the spirit, online shopping is hard to beat. Fast check out, no lines and Sierra Trading Post goodies-what a wonderful way to begin the Christmas season!
November 19th, 2009 @ 8:41 pm
Who doesn’t love Black Friday at Sierra Trading Post? They are the best bar none!!!
November 19th, 2009 @ 9:19 pm
Black Friday is as much a tradition as eating leftover turkey! What would the holidays be without it? Your buddy who will shop till you both drop, looking at the ads, plotting your strategy, extra strong coffee & out the door you go! Can’t imagine Thanksgiving without it!
November 19th, 2009 @ 10:44 pm
I love black friday because of the insanity it incurs. Seeing masses of people lining up to buy silly things (like game systems and dvds) serves as a reminder as to why I take time in the woods and gives me further incentive to do some winter backpacking to stay away from all the people like that!
November 20th, 2009 @ 12:17 am
Black Friday shopping has been a tradition in my family for as long as I can remember! When my brother and I were little we would get up super early with our parents and go shopping for Christmas. I would go with my dad, my brother would go with my mom and at lunchtime we would switch so we could all go shopping for each other.
Don’t get me wrong, the deals and sales are fantastic the day after Thanksgiving, but that’s not the reason why I love Black Friday so much. I love Black Friday because even if we come home with nothing, we still get to spend time together.
November 20th, 2009 @ 2:11 am
You guys rock my world for shopping (and I’m half way around the world from y’all!)
November 20th, 2009 @ 2:49 am
I have outfitted the whole family from this store/website for out skiing trip next month…This website has everything all sizes, styles. I would recommend this site to everyone..also fast delivery and able to delivery to FPO..which is very important…
November 20th, 2009 @ 3:43 am
It is ALWAYS Black Friday at Sierra Trading Post!!!!!
November 20th, 2009 @ 6:39 am
Sierra Trading Post is my favorite online shopping site. I check out the deals daily and have saved literally thousands of dollars on cool outdoor gear and clothes for my entire family. Can’t wait to see the deals on Black Friday – shopping in my pjs!
November 20th, 2009 @ 6:40 am
I love good deals. I love online shopping at Sierra Trading Post. I have been waiting a month and a half for Black Friday Deals! Racing snowshoes here I come!!! Acorn slippers too!! Whoo hoo!!!!!!
November 20th, 2009 @ 6:56 am
Black Friday is great because it allows me to stretch my gift budget and surprise friends & family with gifts I would not have otherwise been able to purchase!
November 20th, 2009 @ 7:00 am
I love Sierra Trading Post and have already been shopping using pre-black friday sales. Great stuff.
November 20th, 2009 @ 7:10 am
I love getting a bargain and that is also why I LOVE Sierra Trading Post for shopping. Thanks Sierra Trading Post!
November 20th, 2009 @ 7:16 am
The only thing better than Black Friday is Black Friday on STP! It is already almost impossible to beat STP’s prices, why shop anywhere else?
November 20th, 2009 @ 8:53 am
I am sooo excited!!! about the Black Friday shopping with SIERRA TRADING POST !
My family and friends are big outdoors people and I am one of the unfortunate souls that has to work on such a money saving day ! So with the internet and STP I can get my Christmas shopping done before work and during on my breaks (I’m lucky to have such a great boss, he’s a hiker and kayaker too !) I can’t wait to make everyone’s Christmas Merry !
(even the boss !) he..he… or wait maybe that should be ho..ho…ho… !!!!!
November 20th, 2009 @ 9:05 am
Sierra Trading Post = Smart Wool Great stuff!
November 20th, 2009 @ 10:14 am
I love all Fridays… and all shopping… and all colors… and all sales… and eating leftover turkey when I finish shopping… But probably what I will like most about Sierra Trading Post’s Black Friday sale will be not being subjected to mall Christmas carols quite so early. Thank you!
November 20th, 2009 @ 11:25 am
I love being neck & neck with a thousand other shoppers, all vying for the same item. I enjoy the competition & great savings! I find that with my last 20 dollar bill I can find the best deals on flannels at Sierra Trading Post ensuring that the following year when I wait outside in the freezing cold on Black Friday my torso remains warm. Please pick me, as unfortunately I have already spent my last $20 on Kraft Dinner & internet service so I could fill out this form.
November 20th, 2009 @ 11:52 am
let’s get up at 3:00am and go stand in line at walmart! NOT!! at home, online, with my fresh hot coffee, now that’s shopping!
November 20th, 2009 @ 12:23 pm
I LOVE BLACK FRIDAY!
I go to almost every store I can right when they open!! I love to see what’s on sale and save a lot of money!! I can buy Christmas presents and clothes, all for the right amount. I like saving money, Best day around
November 20th, 2009 @ 1:16 pm
It’s all about the gifts of gear-so that friends and family get outside and leave the stores and computers behind!! Saving money for gas and gear!
November 20th, 2009 @ 1:19 pm
I LUV STP you are the best, I love black Friday shopping on line, or in store, always in all ways looking for a bargain or deal and with STP there is always one to be had. LOVE U GUYS
November 20th, 2009 @ 2:27 pm
I LOVE black friday’s because as a one income family, christmas shopping is a hard time for us and is very costly. with Black friday’s were able to afford our wonderful christmas! Amen to black fridays!!!!
November 20th, 2009 @ 2:35 pm
The wife spend Black Friday shopping at the malls, I usually spend it riding my bike. ‘Black’ for me is nothing but smooth asphalt and a tail wind! Of course, I’ll do a bit of online shopping at STP!
November 20th, 2009 @ 3:01 pm
I love shopping with Sierra Trading Post. As you can see I have saved thousands in all the years I have shopped with you. But now I lost my job and need a break.
Hope to win!!!!!!!!!!!
November 20th, 2009 @ 3:27 pm
Shopping online at STP is the ONLY way to shop on Black Friday- no driving around a parking lot looking for a space, no fighting through crowds and standing in long lines, no wandering around the parkking lot wondering where I left the car! It’s so much easier and the prices are outstanding! Where else could I get a camping chair with an attached sleeping bag (for less than $20)to keep me warm while I shop online?! You guys are awesome!
November 20th, 2009 @ 3:34 pm
I always have my Daughter Paula do my Black Friday shopping because she is so good at it, But I would like to try it myself as I love to shop for deals. As a winner that would make it so sweet.
November 20th, 2009 @ 3:44 pm
What better way to spread the good word of all the great values on the Sierra Trading Post website than to have a shopping spree to share with friends.
November 20th, 2009 @ 3:59 pm
I love Black Friday shopping deals AND I love Sierra Trading Post, so the two combined spells out PURE AWESOMENESS!
November 20th, 2009 @ 4:25 pm
I always have to work on Black Friday, so on-line shopping is the way to go for me. Since I am already a STP addict, I’ll be sure to log on on Friday. I would just love to visit your store someday though.
November 20th, 2009 @ 4:43 pm
Black Friday is the one day of the year you can throw caution to the wind and go buy more stuff and know that you won’t find it for a lower price.
November 20th, 2009 @ 5:39 pm
I love shopping online- especially on Black Friday! Who knows what good deals might be found? Sierra Trading Post is the place I would like to shop on Black Friday to finish my Christmas List!
November 20th, 2009 @ 6:07 pm
I’ve been shopping with STP since before the web…way back to the 80’s when that paper catalog first showed up in my mailbox…and nothing beats the deals at STP on Black Friday. I’ll be there, will you?
November 20th, 2009 @ 6:07 pm
I don’t know too much about BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING,but I do know a little about STREET SHOPPING & don’t like it. So as long as I can sit in my recliner and get reasonable prices from STP, why do it. THANKS!!!
November 20th, 2009 @ 6:10 pm
I like what I see! What better way to shop than on Black friday in my own slippers! I hope I win a sweet deal!
November 20th, 2009 @ 7:31 pm
Black Friday is an amazing yearly event that shows how crazy us as Americans really are. It is a huge social experiment that everyone should experience. Because I am not actually a sociologist I prefer to stay home and enjoy the simple clicking of my mouse (spending way too much money) as I bask in the thought that I am home while so many people are out there standing in line freezing Colorado cold.
November 20th, 2009 @ 7:51 pm
BF use to mean the search for bargains after the hunt for a parking space, losing my shopping partners in the store, finding that they are out of the one item I wanted….and then BF became a web event! With all the time I am saving searching from the comfort of my living room I can now check out every category on the Sierra Trading Post site! Last time I did that I purchased snow shoes. Today I purchased trekking poles. I hope there’s a kayak or two for sale on BF. It’s a lot easier to have that shipped to me that fighting the holiday crowds with that purchase! Oh, pass the leftover turkey please….watch the keyboard!
November 20th, 2009 @ 10:31 pm
BLACK FRIDAY will be especially important to me this year because I’ve lost my job and don’t want to go without giving my very closest friends and my late husband’s mom a small gift this year!
November 21st, 2009 @ 12:29 am
AHHH, Black Friday!! I wait all year for this day. Time to let the hair down and get wild! Me and my credit cards have no boundaries, or limits, so it seems. What better place to beat the fingers till they bleed on the keyboard than Sierra Trading Post. Hey, it beats getting trampled at the maul, and one can be assured to get the highest quality and the best products for all occasions from a trusted on-line store with the greatest customer service on the planet!
November 21st, 2009 @ 12:43 am
Black Friday is the big kick off day of the Christmas holiday. The decorations, and the people hustling and bustling to take advantage of the great sales, really jump start the busy season. It’s so alive and energizing you can’t help but get excited about the fun to come.
November 21st, 2009 @ 1:06 am
Black Friday sounds cool, I think I’ll wear Black. Grandfather, Unemployed, ran out of unemployment, broke.Santa will be wearing black this year too.
November 21st, 2009 @ 1:37 am
I look forward to this black friday especially as there are many things that we need and cannot afford this year. I want to be certain we have warm coats and boots that fit and some nice shirts for work that are not breaking the pocket book. Just can’t make ends meet.
November 21st, 2009 @ 5:52 am
My mom always used to get up early and go shopping on Black Friday and I thought she was crazy! But now I look at all the store flyers and check my favorite websites … *groan* I’m turning into my mother!
November 21st, 2009 @ 6:24 am
I enjoy Black Friday. It is always fun to see what gifts I can buy for others at a really good price.
November 21st, 2009 @ 6:38 am
I love Black Friday, the fellow shoppers, the great deals, the kick off to the Christmas season when I think about how I can show my appreciation for others. I am really looking forward to it this year, because I will be in Boise, Idaho which has an STP store which will be my primary destination. It’s also the first time of the year I can say Merry Christmas!
November 21st, 2009 @ 8:15 am
LOVE LOVE LOVE shopping online on Black Friday… best deals to be found in your pj’s!
November 21st, 2009 @ 8:53 am
My favorite Black Friday shopping spree began at 4:00 a.m. and ended at 11:00 p.m. and encompassed about 150 miles worth of driving mall-to-mall-to-mall. . . No need for food or bathroom breaks – just coffee, lots and lots of coffee.
November 21st, 2009 @ 9:08 am
I’m a loyal Black Friday shopper looking for the best deals- so much so- I stood in line outside at a store in 20 degree weather in the freezing rain at 5:00 AM almost eight months pregnant. That’s when I started having my first contractions. I didn’t get out of line and shopped for another four hours.
Nowadays- My four year old boy doesn’t share my sense of adventure to go out at such an hour- so I shop online for much as possible for the best deals!
November 21st, 2009 @ 9:35 am
No running of the bulls at the “rollback man’s” house. Hot coffee, an easy chair and a mouse… shopping is DONE! To top it off, You can’t beat Sierra’s service OR Products, they are Great! A shopping spree is icing on the cake! Thanks!
November 21st, 2009 @ 9:52 am
BLACK FRIDAY is the craziest shopping experience ever!!! Checkout lines that are miles long and you are willing to wait in them…..just for that one great item. Some keep their sanity but others lose it…shop on!
This year I’m shopping STP….no lines, no craziness…only killer prices!
November 21st, 2009 @ 10:01 am
I love the idea of a shopping spree on Black Friday, just before the holidays and my kids’ birthdays. Hope I win.
November 21st, 2009 @ 10:03 am
If I shop on Black Friday this year maybe I’ll get my Christmas shopping done early!
November 21st, 2009 @ 10:14 am
what a great deal at a great time of year. what a x-mas this would make
November 21st, 2009 @ 12:28 pm
Sierra Trading Post is the year round shopping spot for our family. High quality products, which are relavent to our lifestyles. At work, recreating, and most importantly leisure around the home, STP is certaily a place to meet our needs. There is no need to keep STP a secret from your friends, STP always finds more great slections to choose from, when you have missed the lustful items that you want, need, or desire. Just like the Sear’s an Roebuck catalog of days gone by, I often search the fliers and internet with friends to share thoughts about STP products.
Thanks Sierra Trading Post
November 21st, 2009 @ 1:01 pm
Black Friday on Sierra Trading Post? Amazing! I can’t wait to get my holiday shopping out of the way and feel fantabulous about the money I’ve saved in the process. With all of that saved money, I may just purchase a gift from me…to me…mmmm…
November 21st, 2009 @ 1:25 pm
I never been to a black friday sale,But they have some sweet deals.Sierra Trading Post is like black friday always,Keep up the good deals.
November 21st, 2009 @ 1:27 pm
Black Friday is the one day that I can make all my electronics purchases for the coming year at great prices. Last year I sat all night in the cold outside one store to get a deal, but this year I’m going to stay warm at home and shop online!
November 21st, 2009 @ 1:31 pm
Lovin the shopping and deals for Black Friday
November 21st, 2009 @ 1:40 pm
Black Friday is the day when stores practice generosity, offering quality items at prices people can afford, much like Sierra Trading Post does everyday!
November 21st, 2009 @ 1:54 pm
Being disabled with MS, I do all my shopping online. It gives me great pleasure to come up with things that aren’t from Wally World to surprise my husband, cat and friends with (we have no family). At 54 years of age, I’ve never outright “won” anything, unless I answered a question correctly for a radio station or something. So this would be a major thrill to me. Good luck to everyone and Merry Christrmas to all!
November 21st, 2009 @ 2:13 pm
I am looking forward to my first Black Friday with Sierra Trading Post. I surf their web site daily, looking for quality merchandise at incredible prices. Count down…7 more days until black Friday.
November 21st, 2009 @ 2:30 pm

I look forward to BLACK FRIDAY to help get gifts that are worthwhile. I love Seirra Trading Post. I tend to order something once a week these days. It would be a God-sent gift to win this competition.
November 21st, 2009 @ 3:47 pm
I have figured out how to get all of my Christmas shopping done at Sierra Trading Post. This year it will be easier for me to shop for everthing, by doing it all online. This year I’m in a wheelchair and I will NOT attempt Black Friday crowds!:o)
Now, if I were to be able todo that shopping online for free… That would be sweet! It would make everything so
November 21st, 2009 @ 3:54 pm
Black Friday is the thrill of the hunt and a terrific day to get great deals!
November 21st, 2009 @ 4:04 pm
I don’t do retail Black Friday but am looking forward to awesome deals from the comfort of my home
November 21st, 2009 @ 5:06 pm
I love Sierra Trading Post and can’t wait to see what’s happening here on Black Friday!
November 21st, 2009 @ 5:10 pm
STP has been wonderful when it come to family shopping…Great Customer taht will make any Black Friday, BRIGHT!!!
November 21st, 2009 @ 5:55 pm
Were it not for Sierra Trading Post’s website I would never shop at all. A mall is something to stay far away from. I’d rather wear patched worn jeans than have to deal with the mall crowds. Black Friday? I’m just not that crazy to camp out in the cold.
November 21st, 2009 @ 6:19 pm
Hear Me Roarrrrrrrrr! See Me Dance!Watch Me Spendddddddddd! @ My favorite outdoor appearel store! Let’s stay up all nite and plan our attack @ Sierra trading Company!!! We stretch our dollars @ christmas! Where? At Sierra Trading Company!!!
November 21st, 2009 @ 6:31 pm
Black Friday is an American Day! It signifies all that we stand for on this Holiday Season.Loud, crazed shoppers ready to fight for the best deals. To purchase things you didn’t intend to buy, but it’s a black friday deal. The symbols of red tag and clearance are sought out & abused by the holiday shopper. I like how we turn this holiday into the frinzee that it is, its free entertainment for all. SO shop, watch, anticipate, visit Santa, knock down people for the that great deal, and then call it a day. Of course, only when the caffiene has worn off! It ’s sad it only comes one day a year. I miss you when your gone, ” My Black Friday”!
November 21st, 2009 @ 6:38 pm
Black Friday is the enjoyable clean sweep of deals day for me. I clean houses on a daily basis, but for celebration of cleaning, black friday I salute to the shoppers who clean sweep stores. I like to to start @ black before the sun rises, waiting @ your front doors for the first picks. I will keep this black day busy and not leave you lonely till black again it is, when the sun goes down. I love to greet black Fri. early, and leave it till it locks me out! SO rock on Black Fri. for I will conquere you! As I always do!!! Bring it on, I love the challange of the holiday you start off for me!
November 21st, 2009 @ 7:17 pm
Black Friday deals are a great way to kick off my holiday shopping!
November 21st, 2009 @ 7:51 pm
Please don’t make me go out into the maddening crowds on Black Friday. Help me do my shopping at home with Sierra Trading Post. Thank you, thank you.
November 21st, 2009 @ 7:57 pm
It’s a tradition ~ up at 3, in lines by 3:30, each family member on a mission to get the best bargains. Breakfast at a diner, and back to bed by 11:00…is there any better way to reverse the effects of Thanksgiving gluttony?
November 21st, 2009 @ 8:08 pm
The day marks the anticipation of the season. And though I look forward to a good bargin, the Friday gives me permission to dig out the Christmas tunes and to consider giving gifts to those who I love, decorating the tree with my wife and daughter, giving thanks on Christmas morning for the greatest Gift the world will ever know.
November 21st, 2009 @ 8:09 pm
I enjoy the early riseing on Black Friday and get the DEALS for Christmas Shopping for who I can afford. Many of us this year has less money to spend so we all need stores like Sierra Tradeing Post and their daily prices which are the best for great quality merchindise.
November 21st, 2009 @ 8:41 pm
I’d like to call it online Black Friday!! You can get all of your holiday shopping done in one day, with super bargins, without spending a moment standing in line or battling other shoppers to grab the last of a hot item, or getting stuck in traffic. Did I mention, this could all be done in your pj’s? OBF is the only way to shop!!
November 21st, 2009 @ 9:04 pm
I just found your site, and love it!! Have never participated in Black Friday, but I’m so excited now to be able to find things without leaving the house ! How great is that !!
November 21st, 2009 @ 9:41 pm
Can surely use some retail therapy, after caring for everyone! Moms deserve some free time too and using it to buy from STP on Black Friday takes the cake.
November 21st, 2009 @ 9:45 pm
The only way to shop Black Friday is online with STP!
November 21st, 2009 @ 10:16 pm
I am ready for some smoking deals on Black Friday, and Sierra Trading Post will definately deliver as always. Maybe the black will be from my burnout keyboard. Can’t wait!
November 21st, 2009 @ 10:51 pm
I HATE BLACK FRIDAY! Waking up before the sun even begins to bring the day. Fighting traffic only to have a knock-down-drag-out in a parking lot to claim the last parking spot. The crowds, the lines, the noise, the fact that every year the credit card machines will go off-line as soon as I get to the register. The incredible selection and value of Sierra Trading Post–yeah, it’s totally worth it!
November 21st, 2009 @ 11:33 pm
Who needs to hike around a crowded mall at midnight when I can let my fingers do the hiking at STP with my boots off ?
November 22nd, 2009 @ 12:02 am
I like Black Friday because I know I can sleep in and think about all the crazy people out in the cold, in traffic jams, looking for parking, and finding out all the deals have sold out!I get just as good deals online or waiting until closer to Christmas! I know because I used to work it at a mall!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 1:00 am
I love letting other people gather in crowds to feed the economy on Black Friday (and most other days). I’m a grumpy shopper, and much happier to be able to make purchases from home with a cat on my lap.
November 22nd, 2009 @ 1:04 am
Black Friday = savings. That simple.
November 22nd, 2009 @ 6:25 am
Online shopping is the BEST! No more waiting in long lines for the stores to open the doors. No more freezing while waiting for the stores to open the doors. No more crowds. Just a great shopping experience from the comforter of your home.
November 22nd, 2009 @ 6:31 am
I’ve never actually shopped anywhere on Black Friday – except online. No crowds, easy parking, much more my speed.
November 22nd, 2009 @ 6:59 am
I work for a small grocery store in a rural area that many people depend on since the largest town is 30 miles away. I go into “town” and shop for the store on Fridays. I have fun on Black Fridays because I am paid to shop, so I am never in a hurry and have a smile on my face. It’s great people watching! I prefer to do my own shopping online, especially at Sierra Trading, where I get great deals on great products, and great customer service! Keep up the good work, Sierra!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 7:13 am
Wise Norwegians say there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing. To handle the whims of Seattle’s weather, I need Sierra Trading Post. For me, there is no such thing as a bad deal at Sierra Trading Post, especially on Free Black Friday!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 7:15 am
I Love Black Friday but It comes second to the deals on Sierra Trading Post. You guys have saved me hundreds of dollars on clothing and shoe purchases via my Wife. Black Friday is great, its the only time you can get Sierra Trading Post Prices at any other Retailer.
November 22nd, 2009 @ 7:33 am
Looking for a boat on black friday
November 22nd, 2009 @ 8:05 am
I love Sierra Trading Post for the great deals I get on outdoor wear. Shopping from the convenience and comfort of home is the only way I like to shop. A Free Black Friday would be the best.
November 22nd, 2009 @ 8:16 am
The Holiday Season is so overrated – Yes the retail business’ have to make money but…. The Arrival of Santa on Black Friday kicked off the holiday season. Now Santa is arriving before Thanksgiving and Black Friday is targeted with “HOT” deals and shoppers rushing to local stores. Shopping On-Line on Black Friday at Sierra Trading Post in the comfort of my home would be a dream come true. I can take my time browsing through the wide selection – and tada – I have it within a week without waiting in line. Hope to Win!!!!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 8:25 am
In the town where I live, the whole community gathers in Market Square to welcome in the holidays. Hot Chocolate and cider is served, the local school choir sings and Santa makes an appearance. Then Santa turns on the lights and all the trees in the downtown area light up and immediately I feel in the holiday spirit. From there, feeling peaceful and happy, I start my Black Friday shopping. All the shops are open late around the square and when I come home, a cup of coffee in hand, I go online to my favorite place – Sierra Trading Post and purchase the many items I’ve identified in previous days that will make for meaningful presents to my family. The holidays can be very tense, but this ritual; Tree Lighting, singing, seeing little kids faces when Santa comes, and then buying things at a reasonable price from your website makes the start of the season wonderful.
November 22nd, 2009 @ 9:31 am
Black Friday on line is the start of a new era. In this hectic life, it’s a gift during this holiday season!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 9:31 am
Have never had the thrill of stp black friday shopping. Looking forward to it with bated breath. Have already done most of my Christmas shopping @ stp. Maybe there will be more deals that I can’t pass up. Sincerely …
November 22nd, 2009 @ 9:52 am
My favorite thing is shopping online at Sierra Trading Post- gifts for everyone on my list at great prices!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 10:08 am
Sierra Trading Post is wonderful for Christmas gift shopping…with their broad range of products, Black Friday can be brighter because I can get all of my shopping done online without having to leave home to brave the crowds in person!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 10:10 am
Holidays are best at home. Traffic and lines at stores take so much away from enjoying this special time with a family. Some time spend on the internet for holiday shoping from home makes most sense to me.
November 22nd, 2009 @ 10:24 am
I used to try and avoid Black Friday shopping, but with recent tightening of the budget, I have become a huge supporter of Black Friday shopping and saving a bundle on the things I need, as well as the things my family and friends want! It makes shopping and giving even more joyful! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 10:24 am
I love Black Fridays online because it means you don’t get trampled by fiery rampant crowds of people! It’s great.
November 22nd, 2009 @ 10:30 am
I love bargain shopping for quality and for someone like me shopping on Black Friday is like paradise X a gazillion!(especially on great sites like Sierra Trading!)
November 22nd, 2009 @ 11:22 am
I have always considered Sierra Trading Post to be my year-round Black Friday. Except it’s better: no parking garage drama, no flailing elbows of other shoppers around the cashmere sweater table, no check out lines, and customer service so good it seems like heaven does STP’s staffing.
November 22nd, 2009 @ 11:48 am
Mall shopping makes me cranky .. STP makes me happy … and I get a great big package in the mail! Who doesn’t still get a thrill from that?
November 22nd, 2009 @ 11:56 am
This years is going to be a killer for me. I generally do shop the internet since all my family is north. Everything is just so expensive these days, no matter what you do. A black friday spending spree….It’s worth it to me to give it a try. I relish the thought of just sitting back and choosing items to buy and not giving it a second thought of what my budget is going to be. I think I am going to hold off on the 2 robes I just put in my shopping cart….who knows, you may pick me and I will order them then….. Thanks a million ahead of time!!!!!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 12:01 pm
I always check Sierra Trading Post for items before I shop anywhere else. Quality products for great prices! Hope I win the Black Friday price!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 12:09 pm
I never shop Black Friday because I hate the crowds and can’t stand waiting in line. However, I’ve been waiting for two months to make a purchase on Sierra Trading Post and I’m going to use Black Friday to my advantage this year and take care of all my shopping online after Turkey Day!! What’s better than shopping in your pj’s, eating leftovers and shopping at the same time?!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 12:15 pm
Excellent prices. Superior quality. Great Brands. Can’t be beaten!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 1:35 pm
I previously entered your contest and I wish I would have thought of this first. You may remove my entry if you would allow me to enter this for my sister in which I have given her e-mail address. I know she would love this opportunity of a spending spree since she has not been in any position to do so these past couple years. As for why do I like Black Friday shopping? You site speaks for itself, great values and quality items. Holidays are meant to be enjoyed, rushing for items at the stores is not enjoyable to me, maybe for a moment if you manage to get the item you set out to get….On line shopping is the best, especially for shipping as well. Thank you again, I hope you pick Suzanne. (I am being very sincere when asking for this, you may remove my entry)
November 22nd, 2009 @ 2:26 pm
I love Black Friday, not because I get to go out at 5am and shop but get to work retail 4am to 4pm. I love helping the stressed out crazy people spend their money. At the end of my day I can go home get into my couch sack (from stp of course)and shop online and avoid the crowds. LOVE IT!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 2:37 pm
Love the stuff at STP, especially the deals they give to previous customers! Am looking forward to what’s in store for Black Friday!!

November 22nd, 2009 @ 3:43 pm
I absolutely love shopping at Sierra Trading Post both in the store and online all year long. I love the quality items for a bargain price. But I can’t wait for Black Friday because I can have a great time, sip a cappacino and buy something special for everyone on my very long gift list. I always manage to sneak in a few gifts for me too!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 3:47 pm
I love Black Friday. I rush to the local general store by 7:00 am on Thanksgiving Day to pick up the Burlinton Free Press. Myself, my sisters, my daughter and my daughter in law plan out the day. I send by them and stay home with the grandchildren!!!!!

November 22nd, 2009 @ 4:34 pm

November 22nd, 2009 @ 4:38 pm
My Birthday falls on Black Friday this year. I cant think of anything better than finding that incredable deal and treating myself to a birthday prezzie from Sierra Trading Post!!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 5:19 pm
Great day to stay home, save gas money, and accomplish a lot from my laptop shopping for good bargains.
November 22nd, 2009 @ 5:31 pm
Do NOT leave your house to go to the mall or any other shopping outlet!!! Sit back, peruse the huge selection of QUALITY items that a person will have forever! That’s the thing…with the “green” trend and the fact the economy is at the lowest point most of us have ever experienced…if you’re going to buy a gift, make it something useful and made well from Sierra Trading! Everyone should be shopping here! I search everywhere for “bargains” – this is the only place I actully BUY quality gear at a fraction! LOVE SIERRA!!!!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 5:55 pm
Shopping online w/Sierra Trading Post is awesome anytime of the year, at Christmastime it’s even better…no crowds!!!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 6:13 pm
It’s a tradition with my sister Pat. A standing invitation, coffee, and list of items we want to get. We meet at 5 AM sometimes earlier. It’s more about being together. I love black fridays because it is a family affair!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 6:36 pm
Black Friday’s rock! Love shopping after Thanksgiving and getting great gifts for friends and loved ones for Christmas!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 7:16 pm
Who in their right mind wants to go OUT on Black Friday? Not me…give me SIERRA TRADING POST and I’m good to go. No lines. No crowds. No hassles! Plus you don’t have to fight for the last one. Where else can you shop in your P.J.s and get great deals on great items. Living in Northern Michigan we have a limited shpping resources for most products featured. I’d have to travel about 2 1/2 hours to get to a store that carried Sierra’s variety of products. And I LOVE what they have to offer.
Give me Sierra or nothing at all for my Black Friday!!!!!!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 7:17 pm

Saving money on Black Friday allows me to give great gifts to those I love and donate money to charities close to my heart. In addition, shopping online on Black Friday is more eco-friendly…or so I tell myself
!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 7:58 pm
I love black friday shopping online, it is the only way I can enjoy the outdoors and do my shopping at the same time
November 22nd, 2009 @ 8:32 pm
Right now I’m in bed typing on my laptop, wearing the vest that I bought from Sierra Trading Post last Black Friday. I am looking forward *so much* to visiting again this Friday to see what new clothing deals I can snag!
November 22nd, 2009 @ 8:34 pm
I love black friday. It is a time my daughter in laws and I spend the whole day looking for bargains. We have a large family and a small budget. With three sons it is wonderful to have three daughters for the day.It is my favorite day of the year.
November 22nd, 2009 @ 8:39 pm
I love seeing our family of six team up with their buddies and launch out on missions to find the perfect gifts. The day starts with joyful excitement and a sense of expectancy, and ends with the satisfaction of having found treasures large and small. Then the anticipation starts for Christmas day and seeing eyes light up.
November 22nd, 2009 @ 9:14 pm
Black Friday is a day off work to shop for gifts for friends, family and me. It makes me feel “in the pink”.
November 22nd, 2009 @ 10:50 pm

I am no US resident so basically this will be my first Black Friday shopping! Hopefully I can get some great deals here!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:30 am
I don’t like shopping any day of the year, let alone Black Friday, but online shopping has proven to be a real unexpected pleasure for me. Especially when high quality merchandise can be researched at my convenience and, after studying the reviews, purchased at a discount. It’s almost like opening presents when the shipment arrives. Needless to say I’m a much better dresser than I used to be. STP has been my most used store by far.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:36 am
I wonder how I’ll do at STP’s sale!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:49 am
BFD- You know,Black Friday Deals-from STP!CMI (Count Me In)!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 1:25 am
Black Friday at STP is truly a blessing. See, I am disabled and getting out and fighting angry crowds on Friday morning is not my idea of fun. At STP, not only is it convenient and economical, its also Green. So, in these challenging economic times, its great to find such an assortment of rugged, dependable and value priced merchandise. To be honest, I look forward to purchasing a few “gifts” for myself as well.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 1:26 am
This is one of the best ways to shop Black Friday-online, in your living room @ Sierra Trading Post!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:21 am
i would love to get all my holiday shopping taken care of at STP!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:26 am
Shopping for things I need and enjoy wearing is fun. Too do it with discount offered by Sierra Trading Post makes it even better.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:51 am
I enjoy the early riseing on Black Friday and get the DEALS for a New Year’s gift for who I can afford!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:19 am
I don’t go to the mall or stores on Black Friday. I use the internet for most of my shopping. No crowds, no hassle and great deals!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:20 am
Black Friday, great time for bargain Christmas shopping! Sierra Trading Post is great!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:21 am
I enjoy online Black Friday at Sierra Trading Post more than pumpkin pie. I can sit in the comfort of my home and do all my Christmas shopping. Once again Sierra Trading Post is the BEST!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:28 am
I do not shop except online.
And then only for exactly what I want for what I am willing to pay.
Black Friday is of no interest to me. However, free is always enticing.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:35 am
To me Sierra Trading post is like black Friday all year long. The deals are always great and then you top if off with a 15% to 40% off coupon through deal flyer, UPS delivers it to your door, what more could you want? I dont buy any thing without checking Sierra Trading post first.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:40 am
I look forward to sitting down shopping after spending a hectic day on Thanksgiving. Its absolutely relaxing!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:44 am
I love black friday shopping because it used to be a time for me and my best friends to get together at the crack of dawn and get some of the best deals for our kids and laugh all day long. Haven’t been able to afford to do that in a while because we can’t afford extra’s right now. Would love to have that chance again.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:47 am
Sierra TP is the best, not only do you have the best deals, but your return policy is so great, that I have confidence my family wouldn’t have problems if they need to exchange my gift! Thanks so much!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:47 am
Well what’s not to love about about Black Friday? Long lines, insane crowds, unfriendly sales clerks, over priced merchandise ‘marked’ down…Internet shopping has saved me the trouble of dealing with these problems and I suppose many others. Thank you Sierra Trading Post. You really do a great job of taking the stress out this part of the holiday season.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:48 am
I truly enjoy bragging about my deals to my friends. You can call it shallow or petty, but it is a long standing tradition in my family. It is required that a family member tell everyone how much and where you purchased the item, when confronted over a recent purchase. If you did not get a good deal on the item, you are banished. Don’t let Grandma banish me.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:51 am
Black Friday deals are awesome, but getting to shop online and not suffer the crush of crowds is best!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:07 am
Saving a few bucks is worth more than staying home eating turkey hash.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:11 am
Can’t wait to shop online with great bargains…fast and easy with Sierra Trading Post. I am also an early riser, so I can get out and do the early bargains for many family members at my local stores!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:11 am
May the real meaning of Christmas (the birth of Christ)be what we celebrate, not material items.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:29 am
Tis the day when you cannot be caught napping…
the Friday after Thanksgiving.
Tis the day when we get together with friends and say,
“Never a better time to go shopping!”
What follows is a bout of buying…
and a lot of siezing, grabbing and snatching.
A frenzy that is difficult to describe,
the word that springs to mind, is ‘robbing’.
“Tis the day”, you think, “to sweat and make up for all that feasting…
those rolls, those pies and that turkey with chestnut dressing.”
In vain, as after all that pushing and shoving…
You’re left with an apetite for another round of sumptuous gorging!
But…
Gone are the days of camping…
outside the store, waiting and waiting.
Gone are the days when a long shopping list…
was sure to leave you gasping.
Tis all a matter of pointing the mouse and clicking…
to get your gift delivered, complete with the wrapping.
Tis really a breeze with the net nowadays, but to be honest…
sometimes, I do miss the hustling and jostling.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:30 am
BLACK FRIDAY AND SIERRA TRADING POST!!!!WHAT ELSE COULD A GIRL ASK FOR? I WILL DEFINATELY BE WATCHING MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET AND A MIRACLE ON MY CREDIT CARD AS I SAVE WITH YOU

When Black Friday comes,
I’m gonna make the most
I’m gonna steer my browser to

They should call it RED Friday.
So many red faces in the parking lots, malls, and outlets.

November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:35 am

Black Friday shopping is an event! Not just for the great deals but for the people watching. I love the traditional early morning craziness which I promptly follow with heavy duty online activity! STP offers great deals all year long so as a fairly new customer, I can’t wait to see what you have in store for Black Friday.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:00 am
I love Black Friday because I get terrific bang for my buck. My Christmas dollars really stretch!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:08 am
Black Friday is a complete rush. After feasting on Thursday, everybody is ready burn some calories and nothing does that as well as dealing with thecrowds looking for a bargain. The madness is contagious.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:09 am

November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:29 am
we spend hours pouring over the ads on Thanksgiving planning our strategy for getting the best deals on Friday. It is so much fun, and exhausting.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:30 am
No fighting the cold,
or standing in line,

November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:33 am

November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:35 am
I love black Friday because it has become a family tradition. About 12 years ago my mom, my aunt and I started our own “women’s thanksgiving” weekend in Minneapolis. Leaving the men back in Michigan to hunt and fend for themselves… We would enjoy our thanksgiving dinner and spend the day going through the ads and planning our BLACK FRIDAY! We would get up bright and early and shop literaly until we dropped. Many years we would shop 14+ hours on Black Friday and then go back for more on Saturday. Even now with my mom gone my aunt, my cousin and I (and now her daughter) have continued our shopping spree of fun, to us it is more about the girls weekend together than it is about what we buy.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:35 am
I get up 2 hours early every morning so I will have time to search my favorite shopping site, STP. I love the hunt and have been able to get some unbelieveable deals on things that I would never been able to afford without Sierra Trading Post. Can’t wait to see the deals on Black Friday.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:35 am
I love STP and am really looking forward to to some black friday shopping
November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:38 am
For me, shopping is all about the “Thrill of the Hunt,” and Black Friday is like the Olympics of shopping. It is the ultimate hunt and the ultimate thrill. I train for it all year. Bring it on!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:40 am
On Black Friday, STP really means two important things:
S-’stay’
T-’toasty’
P-’put’
AND
S-’substantial’
T-’treasure’
P-’preservation’
I’m looking forward to BOTH!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:42 am
THE BARGAINS!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:49 am
Why fight the traffice parking and crowds – stay home and shop online. You can get better deals and pet the dog at the same time!

Black Friday shopping gives me a chance to shop with my grown-up children — home for the holidays — at my elbows giving me grand advice on what to buy for each other. It’s great to be able to shout out for advice while sipping coffee at the keyboard.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:04 am

I love Black Friday because by then I am sick of the extended family togetherness and I can curl up with my computer and actually accomplish my Christmas shopping while everyone else is still in a turkey stupor!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:21 am
I LOVE Sierra Trading Post all year long….of course that would be my first stop on Black Friday! Love the merchandise, love the deals, love the fact that I don’t have to fight the crazy shoppers and wait in line! I can get gifts for everyone on my list in one place…Sierra Trrading Post! This will be the best Black Friday ever.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:23 am
great place to shop
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:26 am
Black Friday is a day to not only shop both on line and in stores but to people watch too. It’s so much fun to see them touch, feel then wait in line to buy their precious cargo and then do it all over again.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:26 am
My husband has cancer and is about to have surgery and I am not really in a great shopping mood this year. I love STP and winning this shopping spree would really be good at this point in our lives.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:29 am
I love Black Friday for all the deals and now I can do it all online without navigating the crowds. Can’t wait!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:29 am
I love Black Friday shopping because there are some really good deals to be had and I love giving and am therefore able to give more!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:30 am
Great prices and easy to do from the comfort of my home.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:35 am
We are just trying to be patriotic and help spur the economy!
Actually, as with many others we enjoy the spirit of the holidays but can no longer deal with the traffic and crowds.
Help us STP help the nation!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:36 am
Black Friday??!! I am in retail so the only way I can shop it is to send the family members out to do the shopping for me (they are the “city campers” you see outside of stores all night long)! LOL I would so much rather do my shopping here than with the crazy shoppers I work with daily!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:38 am
I love Sierra Trading Post!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:47 am
If Black Friday is better than the order I just made I’ll be really impressed- My order was 70% off retail!
Jim
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:47 am
nice day and nice night.
i love it
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:48 am
Whats not to love, discounts galore. Bring it on Black Fridays
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:48 am
I love the energy and excitement of Black Friday! Getting up at 4 am, putting on the clothes you got ready the night before, grabbing a cup of coffee and heading out the door. Standing in lines and talking with strangers, seeing who’s getting what deals, running through the aisles trying to find where they put all the sale items, it’s all great fun! Then at the end of the day you come home finish your shopping on-line before e-mailing all your friends to see just which one of you ended up with the most deals.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:53 am
They say Black Friday is when the big retailers start to post their financial results in black ink and no more in red ink (losses).
I am glad to see not only the retailers winning but also the customers together with them.Unbeatable combination!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:53 am
I have found that my desire to be outdoors, conquer mountains, and other feats of endurance outside as a man are written into our very fiber of being. The creation mandate of Genesis 1 to “subdue the earth” takes into its meaning conquering the places it is more difficult for man to survive. The statement to “be fruitful” implies mans stewardship of the earth to take care of it but also to use it. I think the desire for men to be in creation to be outside was one that God hard-wired into our bodies and one I am thankful for. As one who does not make a whole bunch of money, Sierra Trading Post is the “oasis in the desert” giving men the tools to fulfill God’s mandate and the God given desire hard-wired in man’s bodies. Thanks Sierra Trading Post
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:54 am
Sierra Trading Post is my substitute for Black Friday all year long!!! The deals are simply amazing. Shopping with STP has become a family tradition, just like going out to sales on the morning of the day after Thanksgiving. My sister in law and I regularly share our Sierra “Finds” with each other. I will still go out to the “brick and mortar” stores on Black Friday (because it is our family’s girl’s only outing), but I will be checking in with Sierra Trading Post for their unbeatable bargains on quality merchandise.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:58 am
Shopping is fun on black Friday! Especially if it’s all done on line!!!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:58 am
Black Friday Shopping on Sierra Trading Post is yet another example of the great deals you can find on quality items here. STP makes all that great outdoor gear affordable so my friends and I can enjoy recreating in the mountains! Sometimes I rave about the deal I got more than the item itself! I swear Black Friday was made for me!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:02 am
Black Friday on line is the best! No lines, no traffic and the stores don’t close!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:02 am
I can’t wait to get even more bargains and get my Christmas shopping out of the way.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:02 am
sierra trading post is the best and even better on black friday
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:05 am
I love Black Friday, but I love Sierra Trading Post all year long! I can get all of the sporting goods and shoes that our active family needs at prices that can’t be beat!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:06 am
BLACK FRIDAY-Starting the holiday season right and getting an early jump on shopping. GETTING GREAT DEALS is the key and this sale Sierra Trading is offering is outstanding. I will look for additional sales (and not having to stand in line in the cold) for Friday and stay in the BLACK (not the red)!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:07 am
A great way to get shopping done w/o the hassle of getting up at 0-dark-thirty and having to deal with a bunch of crazed wild shopaholics!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:11 am
I like that my wallet stays in the black when shopping Sierra Trading Post, so I expect even better savings on STP’s Black Friday…what a THRILLER!!

Actually have never shopped on Black Friday, but I’d just love to this year!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:14 am
I like to wear black pajamas, eat leftover turkey sandwiches, and sit in my chair with my laptop. I hate malls and throngs but love to shop so this is perfect.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:15 am
Black Friday shopping is crazy, but fun! Looking forward to picking up some great bargains this year!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:15 am
My favorite part of Black Friday?
Being up and insane hours and seeing the crazed looks on people’s faces
The adrenaline of the mad rush for something hoped for.
Finally, a big, late breakfast upon returning home, triumphant from the hunt!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:15 am
Black Fridays mean saving money on items that are overpriced the rest of the year
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:15 am
This early bird loves to catch the worm when the doors first open! It is so great to be out before the traffic builds and get such sweet deals …and be back home again without all the hassle. Keep the competition out of my way! I have serious buying to do!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:16 am
Black Friday to me:
The Thrill of the Challenge and The Agony of The FEET!!!
I love waking up early to start the search for the perfect presents at the perfect prices. Now, with WIFI in so many place, I can double-team the sales – shop on-line while waiting in-line!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:17 am
It’s coming soon! No need to fear. STP’s Black Friday is drawing near! Sip on your coffee, browse for awhile, shopping on-line brings lots of smiles! No crowds to push through, no waiting in line – yes, shopping at STP is really divine! Have a great time shopping but whatever you do, be sure you remember those less fortunate than you. Merry Christmas!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:18 am
Black Friday is my day of rest after cooking Thanksgiving Dinner, however this year with the economy down, I will be up and ready to go if I should win! Thanks STP for offering this to your customers.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:20 am

November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:23 am
I like to shop for deals, but hate the crowds. I would love to shop on-line, in-home, with a cup of coffee and my dog. Can’t do that at Macy’s!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:23 am
I’m looking forward to shopping STP on Black Friday.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:24 am
MAY BE CRISTMAS WILL COME THIS YEAR EARLIER.

November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:36 am
Best day of the year to shop/buy!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:37 am
It’s crazy, but my adult daughter and I get to the earliest Black Friday opening each year in Milwaukee. Bargain hunting and bonding–what a great day. We both love the thrill of the chase. We work our way to all the hot spots before we are done.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:38 am
Black Friday is the day I wait for every year! I like shopping online, I start earlier and finish sooner. That gives me more time to start the Christmas Cookies!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:39 am
I think of all those crazy people waiting in long lines in cold, dark, damp parking lots, then pushing and shoving their way to aggravation to get a few “deals”, only to return to dinged car doors and traffic jams. I prefer the other way to shop–in fuzzy slippers with a cup of my favorite hot beverage, leisurely searching thru the wonderful items available at Sierra Trading Post. Who wouldn’t prefer that!?
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:40 am
I have a pre-born call to Black Friday shopping. I wake predawn with the beat of a huntress heart. Armed with a travel mug of steaming coffee and a purse full of plastic, I prowl the aisles for the best deals. Nothing beats the thrill of capturing
“the doorbuster” deal.
Best part of Black Friday, being back home by 8 AM for a nap while the husband takes care of the kids and treats me to waffles in bed.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:40 am
Sierra Trading Post has abolished for all time the dreadful day after Thanksgiving, giving us Gold Friday in its stead. At last we can gobble up the turkey on Thursday and gobble up the bargains on Friday with equal satisfaction!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:40 am
Black Friday is fun to go out and get great deals and save money. With a family of Five we need to save money. I also love to watch the people! When they run to get the good deals and scramble for the big savings. Funny!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:41 am
I’m not typically a “Black Friday” shopper, because I don’t like huge groups of people acting like animals over the choice piece of meat! But I AAAAMMMMM a Sierra Trading Post shopper, and I can do that anytime, from the comfort of my chair!!! I really appreciate the value, the quality and the service I get from Sierra Trading Post….and I believe thay are a great American-Values company that I want to support!

Black Friday shopping without getting in my car is the only way I will shop! No more lines and hassles, AND any returns are hassle free. Who could ask for anything more?!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:41 am

November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:43 am

November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:46 am

November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:46 am
Shopping Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales online is so much better than huddling in the cold outside of a store! Best of all, I can have my gifts shipped home for me, instead of flying with them when I travel.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:47 am
Black Friday, despite the crowds, is a great day to catch a bargain. Black Friday on Sierra Trading Post is Nirvana…you already save a fortune on a normal day…double dipping is so much fun!

HATE BLACK FRIDAY MADNESS, LOVE STP, YOUR PRICES, YOUR QUALITY AND ONLINE SHOPPING. HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:12 am
I have to admit I have a love/hate relationship with Black Friday. I absolutely LOVE all the deal but the crazy mad dash for those deals is slightly terrifying and tends to incite my crowd rage (which is weird because I hardly ever get mad about anything). Hence online shopping and Sierra Trading Post are here to save the day – I can get AMAZING products and great prices and not have to go to therapy! THANK YOU!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:13 am
I prefer to think of Holiday shopping at Sierra Trading Post as “Golden Friday” shopping. No gas to use, No parking problems, no long lines, great selection of gifts for everyone on my list, products not seen everywhere and great prices! Why shop anywhere else????
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:14 am

I was never a fan of Black Friday shopping until my sister dragged me last year! It was so fun to grab all those killer deals. Sierra Trading is my go to site for online shopping anytime of the year…can’t wait to see the deals for Black Friday!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:17 am
Once upon a time the Black Friday shopping trip meant driving in heavy traffic, circling the lot just to find a parking spot somewhere, and finally the crush of crowds while dragging holiday bags. Whew.
Now, thanks to Sierra Trading, the shopping ‘trip’ involves your favorite chair, laptop and a cup of cocoa on the side table. Whoo-wee! Not to mention the quality of the gifts purchased at this site, helpful customer service and prompt delivery. No stress or unwanted holiday surprises. It’s a beautiful thing. bev o

November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:19 am

I can’t wait!!!!

Black Friday, Black Friday… Up before dawn, dancing in line, cold toes, clipped coupons, bargains dancing in my head, smiles glowing ’round the tree… ahhh the tradition. But alas, the sun has risen, oh no! I missed the lines, I missed the cold! No worries, I will log onto the Web and make those Christmas smiles with a point and click at STP–one of our favorite, new Black Friday traditions. Happy clicking to all and to all a great bargain.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:27 am
I love online black friday! I tried going to a retailer one year on Black Friday- picked up one item that was ok price wise, saw the line, and walked out. I love online – just love it! Sierratradingpost rocks and am always happy with their products-
Thank you

Sierra Trading Post is my favorite place to shop! Black Friday makes all the deals even better!!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:37 am
I love shopping at sierra trading post. The deals are just great, and the name brands are fantastic. With the name “Black” always looked at in a negative way (ex.black sheep, etc.) It’s refreshing to see it being used in a positve way. Keep up the good work S.T.P.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:38 am
No doubt about it….the BEST deals of the year!! I have my debt card in one hand and my list in the other (may need more hands to type?!!) I am going to buy things this year for me too…not just the kids
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:38 am
Don’t love the Black Friday retail frenzy…it’s a day off that I’d rather spend playing with the kids. However, I do absolutely love STP…great deals, great gear, great company…Black Friday at STP I will do for sure…and it’s much nicer to get extra fabulous deals while in the comfort of my cozy home….but all the rest of you should go shopping the traditional black Friday way, hanging out in a freezing line at dark, and pushing those other good people out of your way of those bargains. Don’t miss the fun!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:44 am
Online shopping is so fun. I don’t have to get out of my PJ’s and get on any long lines. The thing I like most of all is the packages comes to the door of my home, so I save on gas. Ha ha, Grinch losing gas guzzlers, there is another way to shop without starting the car.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:47 am
I have been unemployed, and working hard towards a new career of being a Tour Leader for student groups. Being an Arizona resident and having to temporarily re-locate to the East Coast for training and occasional tours, Black Friday and Sierra Trading Post have been a godsend. I am able to afford boots and winter clothing necessary for my new jobs! Thank you Sierra Trading Post!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:47 am
I avoid most shopping, which is why I am a big fan of STP online shopping…bring on the deals, black friday!!

Great deals, good people and no crowds. What’s not to like!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:54 am
With hard times upon us-all of us-it’s a relief to have somewhere to shop that understands that. Black Friday isn’t just a day to kick off the Christmas shopping season, to some of us, it’s a necessity. Without Black Friday, and places like Sierra Trading Post, Christmas would be much smaller for my family and friends. Thank you!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:55 am
The best and easiest way to shop for Christmas. No crowds, lines or exhaustion.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:56 am

November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:01 am
Are you kidding??? Black Friday is my favorite day of the year! Best bargains ever!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:03 am
always looking for quality at a good price. Have never
been dissappointed. Good to not have to fight crowds and participate in the insanity.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:04 am
I hate black friday shopping, why follow the pack and the frenzy? I am an individual who seeks a less traveled way. I love free black friday shopping because of the freeness of it all.!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:04 am
STP is my favorite site year-round, but on Black Friday I hope for even better deals – for myself and my family. My home is my favorite shopping mall, and in that mall STP is my favorite shop!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:04 am
Sierra Trading Post is my favorite place to shop! My family loves the great gifts I find for them there. I’m looking forward to avoiding the traffic jam of Black Friday this year by shopping online at STP this year!

November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:07 am
Don’t miss this. STP is where I get most of my clothes. Great Site.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:09 am
I am a Black Friday convert of 12 years. My husband’s mother, 4 sisters and their mom spend it together each year. Its a major bonding day for them and me too now! I love it!! I don’t always get to go now, thanks to a little disease that’s keeps me down at the most in-opportune times. I shop STP, because they sell the clothes I need to protect me from the heat and sun-two of my adversaries in my fight. Perfect combo for me, not shopping to physical fatigue and a gift certificate to someplace the whole family loves!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:12 am
To be honest, I hate Black Fridays and busy shopping areas. This is why Sierra Trading Post is one of my favorite places to shop. I find the brands I want, at the prices that I need them to be at!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:12 am
The savings

I love shopping and online shopping has become my first choice. STP is truly one of my favorite sites, from the deals, to the quality to the free shipping and easy returns. Not to be a “poor me” but my husband has been unemployed for almost a year and it is going to some take AMAZING deals this year to make Christmas happen in our family.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:16 am
My husband loves black Friday online. He gets to sleep while Im shopping for as long as I want. No crowds. Love it.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:17 am
There is no “over the river and through the woods” on black Friday, cause with Sierra Tradingpost you can stay warm as toast, shopping from home all the day!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:18 am
the crowds
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:21 am
STP is the place to be
regularly
for great deals of quality
and if you are lucky
it could all be free
on Black Friday!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:21 am
Why would anyone not love the excitement of Black Friday?
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:22 am
I am not a fan of large crowds. STP has great prices, so this should be fun. This will only be my second Black Friday shopping, first online. I learned after the first trip shopping there are too many crazies at the stores. Looking forward to Black Friday Online with Sierratradingpost.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:22 am
I guess you could say I’m a fan of Sierra Trading Post. I bought some shoes from them them a while ago and they are really good. Also Black Friday sales are great. I lookforward to Black Friday every year!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:22 am
My favorite project is assembling a world-class wardrobe, made possible by the awesome assortment and affordable deals on men’s apparel from America, Europe and the Orient. I am living large thanks to STP, and I love it.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:24 am
I’m 9 months pregnant and we all know Santa can’t run his workshop from a hospital delivery room and/or the sleepless haze of Newbornland. So this momma is trying to wrap up all her shopping – literally and figuratively – by Black Friday. The added bonus of winning this contest: The shock and wonderment might push me into early labor! Now, that would be a real holiday gift…
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:29 am
Online shopping is the only way it is worth the savings. Stores are way to crowded to make the savings worth it.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:29 am
After a career of having to be at work at 3:30 AM, my 73-yr-old body now refuses to function at those early hours. Black Friday means great savings, though, so STP’s deals are just my thing!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:31 am
I love sitting in a comfy chair at my computer drinking coffee and finding great deals “WITHOUT THE CROWDS AND TRAFFIC”. Thanks STP!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:34 am
Yeah! Free shopping!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:36 am
I LOVE Black Friday shopping. I eat a big, healthy breakfast and then start shopping around 10am to give the overeager crowds a little time to disperse. Usually I get my exercise for the day by walking around the stores for hours, but now that I know STP is having a Black Friday event, I’m going to take advantage of it by shopping online for a couple of hours and then going for a 7 mile run afterwards. Thanks STP for giving me more time to train for my half-marathon!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:37 am
I like STP, looking forward to the Black Friday shopping online.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:41 am
Black Friday is a great way of catching bargains and shopping ahead so you don’t have to visit a store again until after all the holidays–I hate the crowds and never go to a shopping center in December
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:42 am
I’m now a new shopper to this black Friday sales events. I’m a single Dad that needs value and good deals to buy for my two kids during the holiday season. I love to shop online and then to get free shipping to the house. Well,it’s the only way to go this year. Thanks for making it easy again to shop. DF
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:42 am
Black Friday? What a misnomer! Sounds gloomy, dark and scary. Us STP shoppers should call it “Green Friday” because not only do we save all that “green” with the great deals we find, we are ecologically “green” too, by doing our shopping online!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:45 am
There are those who track investments in markets around the world every morning. In my case, I am watching certain items fluctuate in STP’s daily deals, and when the price is right, I pounce on it.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:48 am
Shop early, shop often. Stay warm by shopping at home with STP.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:49 am
I like Black Friday online because I don’t have to drive to be pushed and shoved to get the best deals..
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:49 am
Wow… STP celebrates Black Friday!? How will I tell the difference from everyday shopping at Sierra Trading Post?
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:52 am
I love Black Friday online shopping – no driving, no lines, no madness. Shopping at Sierra Trading Post is like having Black Friday every day! I can shop in my pajamas with a relaxing cup of tea.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:52 am
What can I say? Shopping at STP is like Black Friday EVERYDAY of the year. So winning a shopping spree would be just about the sweetest thing EVER
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:56 am
The best part of Black Friday at Sierra Trading Post is that you don’t have to fight people off at the stores AND you get the biggest selection all in one place!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:57 am
Black Friday’s are painless with Sierra Trading Post and the internet !!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:58 am
I like seeing my friends, and spending time with my kids.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:00 am
I get to spend the day with my daughter. We do our Christmas shopping for the rest of the family, have a nice lunch and get the best quality time a father could ask for. She leads the expedition, I am the sherpa.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:00 am
I love black friday because of the adreline rush from getting such great deals and time spent with family.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:02 am
Black, black, black Friday…
I LOVE it ’cause it keeps us in the black and not the red for Christmas shopping. My brother-in-law could not believe that last year I found him a gorgeous sweater AND a Buzz-Off shirt for under our $25 gift exchange limit…all thanks to Sierra!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:08 am
Sierra Trading Post and Black Friday? What a great deal for such wonderful quality.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:09 am
What I love about Black Friday is that it’s only one day a year! Can you imagine having to deal with the crowds and chaos more than that? That’s what great about Buy.com, no crowns, no hassle. Thanks, Scott
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:09 am
Every day is black Friday at Sierra Trading Post. I can find unbeatable deals on quality merchandise without having to go near the mall!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:10 am
to the tune of “jingle bells’
Off to shop we go,Even if it’s ten below.
Just to get a deal, that will make my loved ones squeal.
Standing in a line, finding ways to pass the time.
Why am I not at my house with my laptop and my mouse.
Refrain:
Oh Sierra Trading Post, you could rescue me.
Super deals and things with wheels,I could shop for the whole family.
Sierra Trading Post, that’s where I should be .
No crowds, no lines, no parking fines,I think it’s time to leave! Hey!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:18 am
As a tightwad extraordinaire, I love Black Friday, but I love Sierra Trading Post even more! Put both of ‘em together and… giddyup!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:24 am
Sierra Trading Post’s good deals get even better on Black Friday. I love shopping here and look forward to the surprises on Black Friday where I can find gifts for everyone on my list!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:27 am
The great deals STP offers year round are excellent, but to add Black Friday deals, is just a E-shoppers delite. So much easier than wrestling with people for that ONE sweater on sale. Great inventories, super prices…am I in heaven??!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:29 am
Sierra Trading Post is awesome, and how can you improve on that? Black Friday Sales!!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:29 am
I’m in Kabul, Afghanistan and missing the US very much at Thanksgiving (my favorite holiday). Shopping on Black Friday is a small way to help me deal with not being home.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:30 am
Why do I love Black Friday shopping? The ANTICIPATION, pouring over sale ads and planning a strategy. The NOVELTY, freezing in line chatting with crazy locals, counting down the minutes (or hours) until opening time. The RACE, dashing inside to procure coveted wish list items. The THRILL, getting exactly what I wanted at a fraction of the cost. It’s sport and insanity all rolled into one. And I love it!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:30 am
Sierra Trading has great high quality clothing at great prices. Get even better deals on Black Friday. You can’t loose shopping with Sierra Trading.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:33 am
Why do I love Black Friday? It’s a day of fun times with friends and family. What could be better?
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:33 am
What I love most about black Friday is looking for the best deals. I love searching the internet and reading the fliers that come out just for this special time of year. I even like getting up early to wait on the huge lines.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:38 am
Black Friday is the one day I can use all of my technical gear from STP for an Urban Expedition. Tents and sleeping bags to wait in line starting at 3 AM – Hiking boots to storm the stores – Ballistic nylon to resist crowd abrasion and pit zips to stay cool while doing it all….
On second thought – I’d rather stay home and get it all online from STP (at better prices too).
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:38 am
I am looking forward to Black Friday. I like STP big deal!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:39 am
I love STP – every single thing I have bought exceeded my expectations. A freebie on Black Friday would be wonderful.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:40 am
Black Friday is the day of deals and with 4 children, I love a good deal. That is why I also love Sierra Trading Post. You can get a great deal 365 days a year.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:42 am
Black Friday shopping is so much better…..
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:47 am
What i LOVE about Black Friday: sleeping in and still getting AWESOME deals at Sierra Trading Post. Let someone else fight over the three gameboys they have available at 3 AM, I’ll sit here in my warm PJs (purchased from Sierra Trading Post, BTW!) and shop without the hassle. Talk about having your cake and eating it too!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:48 am
Black Friday AND Sierra Trading Post….? What’s not to love?!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:51 am
Sierra Trading Post: BOMB! Where esle can a boy shop for dirty adventures and fulfill his fopish tendencies. BlackFriday: We know from behavioral economists that contemporary humans prefer to save a dollar than to get one. STP, not to be confused with the band, and BF with no crowds: PURE GENIOUS.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:53 am
I’m a Blck Friday Virgin at Sierra Outpost. Love wide selection of useful products with large % off, so can’t wait to consummate the deal!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:54 am
I love nothing about Black Friday, and generally avoid it and all other Retail Events. What I like is Sierra Trading Post, where every hour of every day is a savings event that I can enjoy from the comfort of my own home.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:56 am
Truth be told, I hate Black Friday. The crowds drive me crazy and I feel so awful for those poor employees who have to get up ridiculously early–the day after Thanksgiving nonetheless!– for such madness.
Now Black Friday online, especially at Sierra Trading Post with its already terrific deals, is another matter. Who knows? This could yet become an annual tradition for me….
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:57 am
Last year I got a great deal from sierra trading post on all of my christmas gifts. I plan to do it again this year. Why run out to the stores and fight the crowds when you can shop from the comfort of you home!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:57 am
To begin with Sierra Trading Post in EXCEPTIONAL!!! The best place to order gifts and items for yourself and family. Top that off with an extravaganza on Black Friday?!?! That is the frosting on the cake! I’m excited!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:58 am
I LOVE Black Friday AND Sierra Trading Post
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:58 am
I LOVE Black Friday shopping online! Great deals, no parking, no getting run over by other crazy black friday shoppers like me. I get to sit back in my sweats with a big pot of coffee and let my fingers fly!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:00 am
Thank you internet! Going to be black friday shopping from overseas this year. Not quite the same as experiencing the hellish parking, the lines to get in, the fight for the goods, the wait at the changing rooms … what am I saying? Shopping for deals with a coffee and muffin in hand is way more fun!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:00 am
I look forward to Black Friday shopping for my Christmas list. Sierra Trading Post, you rule.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:01 am
Black is good for this Friday.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:02 am
Sierra Trading Post makes Black Friday ridiculously EASY!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:12 am
Black equals green! Black Friday leaves my wallet more green!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:12 am
I don’t like black Friday shopping unless it is on-line with companies like Sierra!
Tom
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:16 am
Sierra Trading Post has the rare combination of great deals and great customer service.
Go STP !!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:16 am
I just love hunting down a good deal – and what could be better than doing it at my favorite store! Can’t wait!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:21 am
I what I love about Black Friday Shopping w/Sierra Trading Post is that I have an opportunity to add to the $316,605 worth of savings that customers have saved over the year (so far). I expect the total of savings to be over $320,000 by the end of the shopping weekend. Also, my mom mentioned she saw STP listed as one of the best online retail stores in a recent poll.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:23 am
I’m new to all of this but I’m impressed & loving it! It’s important for me to save money this year since I’ve been unemployed for several months, my funds are limited this year. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to buy gifts for anyone but now with these prices I can. I can even get things that I’ve been for awhile now. Sierra Trading Post almost always has the best price. I can’t always find everything I need but when I do it’s usually a great deal. There’s is one catalog I’m glad I received! Now I can shop online which is more eco-friendly because all that paper isn’t being wasted, & it’s much more convenient for finding what you need quick.
I absolutely love this website!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:23 am
Black Friday shopping? – one word – “online”. The only way to do it. (Heck – you can shop from anywhere if you use your phone)
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:24 am
Black Fridays sounds so ominous. When we all know that it’s a crazy day only for the bravest shoppers or people looking for a deal?
I want the holidays to be bright and light and that my giving be made with the best of intentions to share some joy.
Chirstmas is about giving and loving one another. In that perspective, I wish everyone the best of the holiday rush and may we all have enough to share.
Aloha, D.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:27 am
STP is my favorite online shop. Black Friday deals all year long!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:27 am
I Love Sierra Trading Post.
My friends and people I don’t know, comment on my clothes or gifts I have bought for family & friends. I ask them. Have you heard of Sierra trading Post? There great! So to add Black Friday things are even better.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:28 am
My baby’s need some winter gear. With 2 kids 21 months apart and one car – I need online Black Friday shopping!!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:31 am
I discovered Sierra Trading earlier this year, and since then, I have done pretty much of my shopping at STP. I never shop Black Friday, but I will this year at STP!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:34 am
WOW! 15 minutes ago I entered my name in your drawing, and the total amount of customer savings was $316,605 and your site now bosts $326,202 in total savings, which blasted my prediction!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:36 am
All of the bleary eyed and bushy haired people pushing and shoving to get the “sales”. I’d rather stay home and shop on line, saving myself for some leftovers and a nap.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:38 am
Every year I look forward to spending time with my daughter on black Friday. We make a day of it and have a lot of fun. Now we can shop on line too. How wonderful is that I ask.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:40 am
I love to shop sierratrading and black Friday is a perfect opportunity to have a great shopping spree.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:40 am
Black Friday best shopping day of the year and now I don’t even have to leave my home. Hope Sierra has some deals I can’t live without!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:41 am
You find the best prices and selection at Sierra Trading Post. On Black Friday the deals are even better and you don’t even have to leave the house!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:43 am
STP is the first site I go to for anything, wonderful people and terrific value.I will always remember my childhood “BlackFriday” shopping @ Marshall Fields, downtown Chicago. STP is a great place to find what anyone needs
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:44 am
Deals, deals, deals, but then again, there are always deals at Sierra Trading Post!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:44 am
Everyday is Black Friday at STP!!! They are the first place I go when I need gear b/c the prices can’t be beat!!! Thanks STP!!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:46 am
I love getting great deals on black Friday! The better the prices I get, the more gifts I can buy for my family. I love Sierra Trading Post! I would never be able to afford such quality gear for my outdoor loving family if it wasn’t for STP’s awesome prices.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:49 am

Yes! Black Friday! Come over to the dark side and experience the thrill of the hunt. Tracking the sales, following the scent of discounts and bagging the bargains. Make no mistake – it’s a rush. But wait! At STP, you can have all that without the inherent dangers of going into the brick and mortar habitat of your prizes. I’m talking about the sneezing child, or the elbow in the face from jostling shoppers or the crazy holiday driver. Saving money makes no sense if you land in emergency or your car insurance goes up. So get online and hunt those bargains. Spot them, nab them, then have those treasures sent to you. Sweet!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:54 am
Why Free Black Friday? I really hate fighting for parking, long lines and screaming kids. Free Black Friday means I get to sleep in and shop in the jammies with a fresh cup of coffee.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:55 am
Black Friday is a misnomer at Sierra Trading as far as I am concerned. With such good value this day can only show us the light in these dark economic times!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:57 am
I can never get Black Friday off from work…but, now I have a chance to compete at sierra trading post. On-line shopping here I come!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:58 am
I always enjoy finding a good bargin and Black Friday provides me the opportunity to find the very best of the best bargins – especially on STP.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:59 am
It’s my favorite shopping site!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:04 pm

November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:19 pm
Stuff I wanted, stuff I didn’t want… And the insanity is fun!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:19 pm
I like getting my Christmas shopping over early.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:22 pm
STP… STP… the best shopping all the way. Oh what fun it is to shop… on the best site for Black Friday!
Dashing through the snow, oh wait I don’t have to go… because STP should let me…
shop online for free!
STP’s making a list and checking it twice… gotta find out who gets the big prize… Oh… I think it should be… me!
Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer… should be my ride for Friday… and when you would see us… you’d surely exclaim, “NO way!”… All of the other shoppers… would holler out “Go deer!”… and we would have the presents… all done for the year!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:24 pm
There is nothing dark about great savings on “Black Friday.” More of a Sunny, bright day, maybe it should be called, “Blue Sky Friday”!!
Sierra has the best deals in my book..
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:28 pm
How could it get any better?! Black Friday prices without the hassle of shopping malls, and the great Sierra Trading Post quality and style!! I can’t wait!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:31 pm
Black Friday is a post thanksgiving tradition in my family. My dad and sister would shop together and that has now been passed on to me. Since my dad past away a few years ago, I’ve made of point of heading out bright and early. It’s not even so much getting a good deal (thought that definitely helps), as the start of the Christmas season. I wouldn’t miss it.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:33 pm
I love that you can find some outstanding deals and be done with shopping early so you can be stress free!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:37 pm
I love that black friday is the kick off for the Christmas season. I also enjoy the great deals that are offered.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:46 pm
It is going to be a very cold winter and we will need these Black Friday Deals to warm us up. Thanks STP.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:47 pm
Black Friday shopping is a competitive sport. You need a game plan and some teammates to really score. Online shopping is like overtime, a chance to get that one last deal.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:50 pm
I love Black Friday because I get to babysit my precious grandchildren!
Let the energetic shop the stores, I`ll do my shopping online.
Happy Thanksgiving to All !
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:52 pm
I work at a motel, and other people’s weekends are my workdays. So I can’t go to the stores even if I wanted to. But I can shop online at anytime, even when stores might be closed. Online is also free of the noise and confusion of shopping at a mall.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:53 pm
I love Black Friday! And since this offer is online, it avoids the mobs of people at the malls and stores! Another great thing about black friday is that it is a great time to save on winter gear, just before the season too!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:53 pm
Love this website-been shopping here for years.
It’s classy and sassy.
Black Friday gives you the deal day to get your gifts and get going.
Santa has nothn’ on Sierra Trading Post
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:54 pm
The excitement and rush from getting the best deals
The bargains I capture that really feel like steals
I can sense the excitement; it’s swirling all around me
Could I possibly win a Sierra Trading Post shopping spree?
That would make this the best Black Friday of all time
The only way to describe that would have to be.. sublime!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 12:55 pm
Black Friday shopping is as intense as a very intense thing. You’ve got to be mentally and physically prepared for the struggle of fighting for that gift you had to get your special someone. But shopping online at Sierra Trading Post allows me to relax and focus more on what my family really wants and not worry about the tussling that occurs at all the malls. Thanks for reviving the spirit of the season-it’s not about the fight for the gift, it’s about who the gift is for.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 1:01 pm
I look forward to black friday because there a lot of sales going on and im unemployed now because of layoffs so its a struggle to purchase items! i would love to just win something
November 23rd, 2009 @ 1:04 pm
I love shopping sierra trading post already so the opportunity to get some good deals on things I already want would be wonderful. I am trying to get my family outdoors where I love to be and STP allows me to have some quality clothing to protect us all that I otherwise could not afford.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 1:04 pm
I’m already planning my day for Black Friday. I’m getting started early at STP today. I can’t wait until Friday to finish it all up.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 1:07 pm
Sierra Trading post has everything I need and much I didn’t know I needed! Black Friday is more fun on-line than it is in endless lines at the mall!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 1:12 pm
Well the weather outside is iffy, but Sierra trading is spiffy. They are joining in the black friday fun, a couple of clicks from your home and you’re done!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 1:13 pm
I can’t wait to see the deal for Black Friday.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 1:15 pm
I love that I’m going to win.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 1:16 pm
I love the fantastic deals on great outdoor products at Sierra Trading Post
November 23rd, 2009 @ 1:18 pm
I love Black Friday because it helps many retail companies get out of the red. Although I’m not sure companies should depend so much on it.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 1:22 pm
The idea of shopping for Christmas gifts at my favorite online store while relaxing in my own home fills my head with all the special joys of the holiday season!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 1:23 pm
great stuff! great prices!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 1:29 pm
Every day that I shop at Sierra Trading Post feels like Black Friday. The deals are fabulous! Fabulous deals combined with great service, that’s what shopping at Sierra is all about.

Black Friday…the day that Sierra’s great deals go one step beyond! A day to throw caution to the wind and get/give the gifts you really can use!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 1:36 pm
Black Friday deals are actual quality goods that are sold to those who are willing to work hard to get them, not just cheap liquidation items that’re hyped up.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 1:42 pm
Love the advanture of finding good deals .
November 23rd, 2009 @ 1:48 pm
Every year when I don’t think Sierra Trading Post will go any cheaper – Black Friday comes along and changes all of that. Thank’s for the great deals!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:01 pm
While I’ve never done it myself, I love the idea of people “camping” outside stores for days before Black Friday so that they can get the best deals. I’ve seen some mini cities erected outside the big box stores on the news, and I have to give kudos to those who care that much about a $200 laptop!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:03 pm
I love Black Friday, because it’s a great time to purchase great gifts for all of my friends and loved ones. My favorite place to shop, is Sierra Trading Post!! I recommend your store to all of my friends, because the quality is so high, and the prices are so reasonable. Thank you, Sierra Trading Post. Happy Holidays to all of you!!!!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:05 pm
I have always been a Black Friday shopper, used to be for my 3 daughters when they were small and had the “hottest” items on their wish lists. Now one is grown and in college and now has a wish list that consist of needs for upcoming internship in South Africa. Was given this site and WOW I think you have everything she will need to complete her list.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:06 pm
My wife and I shop the mall and the internet on Black Friday every year. You can’t beat Sierra Trading Post for both quality and low cost– especially when you’re shopping for a large family!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:10 pm
I love Black Friday shopping at Sierra for their amaizing deals!!! Love Sierra, in general, too!!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:17 pm
Everyday is Black Friday at STP !!!!!!!!!!!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:18 pm
Why do they call it Black Friday? It sounds way too scary to actually go out– I’ll just peruse the STP website at home and get much better deals!

November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:32 pm
What a fantastic offer. If I win, I will have a
“golden” Friday.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:35 pm
Instead of being Black Friday, I prefer to call it Green Friday! Green because its the color of all the money I’ll be saving online at Sierra Trading Post! AND while I’m ordering my Christmas gifts online, all comfy and cozy at home in my jammies and slippers-purchased at bargain prices from STP this past year- I’ll also be helping the environment by not driving from store to store on “GREEN” Friday!
)
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:36 pm
Love getting great bargains! (The crowds, not so much.)
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:36 pm
After last years sales I was sold on Black Friday. We got married this year and so did our shopping last year on Black Friday. We got super bargins!!!!!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:40 pm
I love black Friday shopping because I’m surrounded by like minded folks-looking for the big deal and saving cash!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:43 pm
A Christmas dream come true!!!! Never get to enjoy the fun & Holiday spirit of Black Friday because nurses are always working and Moms are rarely children-free when school isn’t in session! But I LOVE STP as evidenced by my past order history!!!!!!!!!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:43 pm
The best thing about black Friday has to be the groundhog. If he sees his shadow then you get 6 more weeks of presents!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:43 pm
Web shopping is so much nicer! No one pushing you. No one fighting. Staying home with the family and playing with the kids…unstressed! Doesn’t get better than that!!!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:44 pm
I actually hate Black Friday and everything that goes with the unbridled commercialism associated with it. However, I have the conflict of having great taste AND being cheap. I want to save every dime that I can. So, I love the sales at STP, and I love not having to leave home and fight the crowds. It’s a win/win.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:47 pm
i like it because my name is Friday… and I’m black.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:48 pm
I love Black Friday at STP bc the savings simply cannot be beat….anywhere.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:53 pm
I love Sierra Trading Post, always great deals, and enjoying Black Friday bargains in the comfort of my home is wonderful!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 2:59 pm
Great stuff, cheap…what could be better for the appreciative acquisitive among us!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:00 pm
Black Friday shopping is the best way to find the best deals and get everyone crossed off my shopping list. One stop shopping is my favorite – and Sierra Trading Post delivers. There’s something for eveyone!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:04 pm
I don’t Tweet. I don’t do FaceBook. I am not an avid shopper, but I find what I need at Sierra Trading Post. This Christmas, I’m planning on showering my family and friends with treasures from Sierra.
Black Friday at Sierra will help me give more thoughtful presents, and at prices that please my inner Santa.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:11 pm
I love Black Friday Shopping for the rush–it’s fun to be around all kinds of crazy people that share one common goal and are willing to do whatever it takes to get it, even if it means standing in the long lines in the wee hours of the morning.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:13 pm
Black Friday Rocks!!!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:14 pm
I dislike shopping in general and specificly dislike hyped events like black fri. However Sierra Trading is the best for quality at affordable prices
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:17 pm
I love Black Friday because it is black. It reminds me of the coal I used to get in my stocking ever year on Xmas morning. It reminds me of the jelly beans I got in my basket each Easter. Daddy said our store was out of the ones with the pretty colors. It reminds me of the bottle rocket burns each 4th of July. I wasn’t allowed to use the trees as a shield. Maybe if I win ths thing I can get me a new fly reel, in black of course.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:20 pm
I love the huge crowds of people with (largely) positive energy! So frequently our society trudges along in a dour mood….but Black Friday is where people are well fed, charged up, and ready to give!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:21 pm
Memories of the 1970’s gas lines.
LAST CAR…LAST CAR
No more posts for STP Black Friday contest THIS IS THE LAST CAR… LAST CAR
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:24 pm
Looks like most people took this option to register! I love Sierra Trading Post, they are the best company I have ever worked with, and now with Black Friday coming up I can’t wait!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:26 pm
Let’s SAY WOW!! DIRT CHEAP!! ONE FOR THEM, ONE FOR ME!! Just the way shopping should be!!-)
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:27 pm
So much to buy, so little time… Duh, I know, I’ll shop at Sierra Trading Post and turn my Black Friday into Green Friday!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:28 pm
Sierra Trading Post rocks on Black Friday and every other day.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:32 pm
I prefer to do my black friday shopping online. There’s no line to stand in and no driving to do.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:32 pm
I used to do the brick ‘n mortar Black Friday events until I found how much easier it is to do Black Friday on websites such as Sierra Trading Post! You also get the added bonus of not risking personal injury from getting knocked down at the front door rush and still receive great deals. Free Black Friday sounds too good to be true!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:33 pm
I teach skiing on weekends and work in an office for the rest of the week and the last thing I want to be doing is losing time on the mountain by spending it in a crowded mall! Black Friday shopping on Sierra Trading Post offers great holiday gift ideas, affordable prices and hassle-free returns which means I can spend more time outdoors and not in traffic or waiting in lines.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:48 pm
I think I will buy something this year on Black Friday. I always stayed away because of the crowds, but I LOVE saving money and getting deals.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:48 pm
I would never do a Black Friday in stores, but online – way cool!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:50 pm
Black Friday just got even better…no lines or getting jostled about and no trouble finding a parking spot.
My dog (Monkey) and I’ll be sitting on a big comfortable sofa with our feet up shopping your store on line!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:50 pm
black friday shopping is part of the chaotic holidays, thanksgiving is when we draw names for secret santas and black friday shopping allows for a great gift at a great price!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:51 pm
Shopping on the net with Sierra Trading Post is always fun and the deals are great. The Black Friday event makes a good thing even better. Thanks STP!

November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:57 pm
I have my eye on some sport optics that I’d love to get for free!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:58 pm
Black Friday – hmm. It’s interesting to watch on the news. But Sierra Trading Post – ! You get the deals, you don’t have to go any where… Great!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 3:58 pm
Black Friday shopping is best done in the comfort of your house via the internet. That’s where STP comes into the picture . . .
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:02 pm
Black Friday’s are the best at Sierra Trading Post!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:05 pm
The great deals!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:09 pm
Black Friday shopping is truly fun for the whole family. What could be better than a little urban camping session that begins as soon as your thanksgiving meal ends. I love sleeping on the sidewalk in 6-10 layers of blankets. Cooking a can of baked beans over a lighter and using the lid as a spoon. Taking odds on which person in line will receive a black eye for cutting (Which is incidentally where the term “Black Friday” comes from. I love explaining to the cops that “the guy in the hoodie” was the aggressor in the fight. I especially enjoy the 4 am door openings and the mad rush to get inside. I love having 3 toes broken by an innocent looking gramma in a hot rod electric wheel chair. I love watching people steal things from unattended carts. I find joy in spending way more than I intended too cuz a deal couldn’t be passed up. Most of all my favorite part of Black Friday is finally going to sleep in my own warm and cozy bed, with 5 pointless presents, 4 fewer teeth, 3 broken toes, 2 black eyes and a misdemeanor aggravated assault.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:11 pm
How do I love Black Friday shopping? Let me count the ways…..
I love early rising, I love deal buying.
I love cups of coffee, I love getting shirts; color toffee.
I love all the crowds, I love the noise; loud.
I love shopping in haste, I love that there is no waste.
I love buying gifts for ALL on my lists.
Black Friday is great, for it I can’t wait!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:16 pm
I love to buy stuff on black Friday but I donot want to spend my time being in line with all the craziness of people in it, sometimes you can be in a stampede too.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:19 pm
I love Black Friday because i can sit at my desk in my pajamas and drink coffee and shop till i drop with all of the great online deals and never have to take a shower or smell someone else’s bad sweaty body staning inline at the department stores! ONLINE Black Friday is the way to go.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:21 pm
We are a military family and Black Friday always enables me to get things for such a good deal that we can actually afford Christmas. Last year my husband was in Iraq and so I needed the money we saved for phone cards and shipping costs to get his stuff to him.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:22 pm
Even the thought of standing in line, freezing my *%&#@! off just to be jostled by thousands of vampiric suburban shoppers in the attempt to find a pitiful few dollars savings makes me want to run screaming into the desert . . . on the other hand, finding big savings from the comfort of my own home at STP is always a joy! Great products, great service, great prices! Thanks! I’ll gladly accept that gift card!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:24 pm
I am soooo looking forward to logging on to my laptop Friday morning… shopping at STP in my jammies/robe/slippers… with a cup of hot chocolate… and thinking about all the lunatics standing out in the cold waiting for the stores to open!! No envy there!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:30 pm
I love Black Friday because everyone is at the mall or online while I’m driving to the uncrowded mountain trail after a day of feasting.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:35 pm
Black Friday shopping at sierratradingpost.com is the bomb for two reasons:
You absolutely cannot get trampled by other crazed shoppers.
You burn exactly 0 gallons of gasoline driving to the sale.
Gotta love it!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:35 pm
It is a tradition to plan the shopping day after the big meal. Meeting up with friends and family members on Black Friday and completing the Christmas Shopping List. Tanger Outlet opens at midnight on Thanksgiving night so we start even earlier now and shop all night. Go take a nap and hit more stores the next day.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:36 pm
All of us bargain hunters love black Friday. But what I like the most about STP is that their bargains make everyday a black Friday. I have purchased countless gifts at STP and I always get the most bang for my buck. What’s not to love?
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:41 pm
love to shop early for great buys and bargins
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:44 pm
A family tradition, that we need after filling up on all the wonderful food from the day before. Yes, we are the ones who are standing in line at 4am, shuffling feet, and blowing on our hands to stay warm. By the time the store opens we know everyone in our immediate vacinity in line.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:45 pm
Black Friday is about finding those awesome deals that make it so great. Sierra has such great deals but Black Friday is the best!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:49 pm
Jesus said: I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.
At this time of year it is most important to help the needy. I choice to help the children of the Tibetan Childrens Village in India. Many have fled the Chinese Army over the Himalayas on foot to be free.
By me winning this all items would be sent to them this winter. TVC motto is ‘Others before Self’. In America we need to think of Others Before self.
Thank you for kindness…..
November 23rd, 2009 @ 4:53 pm
Black Friday is the biggest event for sales of the year.
You have to deal with big crowds. On-line with Sierra Trading Post you get to deal with the best quality products and the best customer service in history!!!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:01 pm
Go Green on Black Friday. Your Luck will certainly pay off with only a small amount of green $$. ENJOY the spree and Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:01 pm
I have been buying merchandise on Sierra.com for a long time, and I have always appreciated the low prices and the high quality of the products. Even when I could have afforded to buy fashion for myself in more expensive department stores I looked at Sierra first because I never wanted to take money away from my family. I have always put me last and everyone else first, but that is okay because I would much rather give than receive as it gives me great joy to see others happy!
I worked hard for 25 years, working insane hours to provide for my family and make a comfortable life for all of us. My son had a wonderful childhood, but I missed much of it because I was working. I ended up with an incurable chronic illness 14 years ago and I continued to work until my health declined to a point where I was forced to retire. I have surpassed my life expectancy by one year now, so God must have something planned for me that I have not accomplished yet! I am certainly not looking for sympathy and in fact I feel lucky that I have been given the chance to spend a lot of time with my 23 year old son. He is the light of my life and I couldn’t be more proud of the young man that he has become!
This year I am doing all of my Christmas shopping on Sierra.com. My family has been extremely supportive throughout my illness and they don’t expect to receive the expensive gifts that I once was able to buy for them, but I can hardly wait to see their happy faces when they open their presents and find thoughtful high quality fashion-forward gifts that they will be excited to wear! Their happiness is the best gift that I can imagine for myself.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:04 pm
It’s the craziest shopping day ever. It should be called “The last day of the Really Prepared or the First Day of the Procrastinator”. Where did the term Black Friday come from except that people end up with bruises all over from the doorbusters tug of war over. Give me the serenity of my own quiet home for my shopping extravaganza. Thanks!!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:04 pm
Black Friday is the day that I get to spend with my sisters and niece. I live 3 hours from them and we don’t get to spend a lot of time shopping together at other times of the year. What fun it would be to sit in a coffee shop together and shop on STP for my holiday gifts! I love the site year round and it would be extra special to shop with the girls this year on STP.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:26 pm
If I win with this entry, it will be may happiest Black Friday ever! The pricing at Sierra is always the best and the quality is great; to win this would be the icing on the cake. Happy Holidays.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:27 pm
Can’t wait for Black Friday!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:42 pm
I’ve shopped with you for many years and you’ve saved me thousands. This year Sierra Trading Post takes the Black out of Black Friday. It’s going to be a Great Friday!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 5:57 pm
Actually, I’ve never shopped on Black Friday. I hate crowds and crazy people. Now that online sites are offering specials, I will be able to take advantage of some great deals without fear of physical harm!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:01 pm
Black Friday shopping at http://www.Sierratradingpost.com is tight and beats standing in line at 4 AM! Look here first before you spend more somewhere else!!!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:11 pm
I check the burning deal of the day everyday i never forget to check because my daughter always asks me what the deal of the day at sierra trading post was. Now her friends check and let her know just in case i did not get a chance to. Black friday is like a whole bunch of burning deals wrapped into one day.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:14 pm
I love sierra trading post because of the great deals! I can only imagine the deals they will give on black friday, shopping that day online will be great because there will be no people and no lines!! and the best deals!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:15 pm
Black Friday shopping from home is the best. You can shop in your jammies and the coffee is free. No crowds, no long lines, no being subjected to the flu!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:15 pm
Black Friday shopping from the comfort of my home — works for me! That’s why I love Sierra Trading Post!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:20 pm
Black Friday is one of those days that turns my family on itself. One side can’t understand how the others are passing up such great shopping deals, while the rest of us can’t understand why they are waking up so early to endure the insanity that is Black Friday, as we know these deals will always exist at Sierra Trading Post.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:20 pm
Black Friday to me is the start of Christmas. I have to work not only thanksgiving day but also on black friday. In the past i have had to miss out on black friday, but now I can get deals online. thank goodness for online shopping now.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:39 pm
Black Friday deals are the best…get there early, get it done!! Go home and relax!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:40 pm
Its like an angry grateful dead concert without the lsd. I’d rather spend it in a tree!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:47 pm

November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:49 pm
I love the great deals!

WHAT A GREAT THING TO HOST
SIERRA TRADING POST!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:56 pm
Black Friday is an Abomination.
The horror, the horror, the horror.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 6:59 pm
I would love a shopping spree with Sierra Trading Post on Black Friday because in these times it’s hard to get everything you need for everyone on your list. Black Friday and Sierra Trading Post are about as American as apple pie. The savings and quality of gear at STP are second to none!!!!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:02 pm
Loves black friday to spend the day shopping with my mom and sis. Can’t esit fir the deals!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:05 pm
I used to love going to the shops on Black Friday but now I like to kick back in the peace of my own home and shop online. I also really like the Pre-Black Friday deals. Let everyone else stand in line, haggle over goods, get up at a crazy hour and become stressed out over the sale price of holiday underwear. I’ll enjoy my warm cup of coffee sitting at my computer and then go outside and really enjoy my day stress free and relaxed. Happy Shopping!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:06 pm
It shouldn’t be called Black Friday – it sounds dark and it’s really so much fun to shop. You know the deals are real deals and the quality it always the best. To shop online in the comfort of my own home with a nice cup of tea- without digging out through 2 feet of snow and ice is a pleasure.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:06 pm
1 – It is a big Party
2 – I never by anything at full price
3 – Everyone’s happy, I save lots, stores make lots, what is not to love
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:08 pm
I love shopping on Black Friday!!!!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:08 pm
I don’t like Black Friday shopping! That is why I love Sierra Trading Post. They have great deals all year round and I can always count on them for great gear at fantastic prices!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:15 pm
Black Friday is the day when I buy something for myself every time I get a gift for someone else. It’s kind of like sadie hawkins day or something. And Sierra Trading Post has more of what I love.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:15 pm
With four kids black friday is a must. It’s a sleepless day full of excitement. A day to make new friends while standing in the checkout lane and hopefully not too many enemies while fighting for the best deals. Good luck to everyone on the greatest of all shopping days.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:17 pm
I am SO looking forward to Black Friday at Sierra Trading! They have become my favorite online shopping site with the best prices and deals to be had! Bring it on, Sierra!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:37 pm
Fired up for Black Friday! I love the stampedes!

November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:43 pm
I just love being with all the people…it’s great fun! The energy is off the charts! But I could take day shopping on line at STP..that would be amazing!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:45 pm
I will using gear from Sierra Trading Post on Black Friday instead of battling it out amongst the masses at the nearest shopping mall. If the closest Sierra Trading Post wasn’t a couple flights away, I may have made an exception to be there in person. A better option will be to shop Sierra Trading Post online and still enjoy the fruits of my shopping forays by enjoying the countryside, family, games, and good meals. Cheers and may you all find good deals.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:53 pm
Yay to Black Friday
No standing in line for me
Shopping in PJs
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:54 pm
Black Friday! Eek why not kick back infront of your computer with a hot cup of coffee, a bowl of cereal, the dog in your lap and your trusty mouse in hand to shop in the lap of luxury, STP, and save without getting hypothermia.I am.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:54 pm

November 23rd, 2009 @ 7:57 pm
I love to bargain shop! Sierra is a great place to find good deals on quality merchandise.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:02 pm
I have never shopped “Black Friday” I have hard you can get great deals, but I have never wanted to get up at 3am to fight through a crowd only to find the item I went for is already sold out due to limited stock on hand.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:07 pm
BLACK FRIDAY? The Day after Thanksgiving? For me, that’s the day to get serious on the exercise plan–run, hike, bike, do something to work off the mashed potatos, apple pie and whipped cream, and cranberry bread. It’s a day when I’ll be in my Hind workout top or Brooks running shoes, Columbia fleece, etc–my favorite workout gear that I’ve collected from STP over the years. When I finally allow myself back in front of the computer on Black Friday, I’m sure I’ll have an email from Sierra Traders with a great coupon or discount or deal. Thanks STP!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:18 pm
I love black friday cause i like to watch women go crazy and i get great deals at sierra
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:19 pm
I will use it to shop for our troops – both specific troopers, and as gifts going into a large pool of those I haven’t met.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:23 pm
MY black friday is the best I have 7 sisters, all grown with families, we drag our 80 year old dad out of bed, into the cold morning and attack the sales. Sometimes to get just the “one thing” for one sisters child, or something cool. We are a sight together all standing in line for stuff. And together we are a “force”. It is great to have people to wait in line with!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:23 pm
Gotta to admit that I am not much of a shopper however deals are always good, especially at Sierra Trading Post.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:24 pm

Black Friday is a fun day to spend with my Mom picking up some christmas presents while people watching those going crazy over door busters.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:34 pm
Only in America do we shop until we drop, less than a day after we just gave thanks for everything we have.
I love Thanksgiving followed by Black Friday.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:38 pm
I have not shopped on Black Friday for at least 25 years!
Was it called Black Friday that long ago?

November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:54 pm
I get to stay at home and be with my family.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:54 pm
Can you imagine our forefathers, the morning after Thanksgiving, discussing which shops and trading posts they would frequent, and whether their wives would be up for a horseback or coach ride in a raging blizzard? Well, I picture the women rolling out of bed at 4am, donning their layers of clothing and waking their sleeping husbands, tapping their feet as they waited for the men to ready themselves. Imagine how dumbfounded they’d be, if they knew that in 2009, thousands of Sierra Trading Post fans would also roll out of bed at 4am to sit in front of a high-tech “box” on a day called “Black Friday!” Imagine their envy when they learned that we ‘09ers had the luxury of staying in our “night clothes” in a central-heated home, acquiring our STP desires without ever stepping out into the blizzard! I envision one (forefather) saying to another, “That’s radical, dude!”
We ‘09ers have it pretty darn good, and thanks to Sierra Trading Post, we have a surprise to look forward to on this most grand shopping day of the year! Thanks, STP, for giving us the best deals on the web, hands down! Happy Thanksgiving to our forefathers and to all of you:)
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:57 pm
Although to me it seems that it’s always Black Friday on this website, I am intrigued to see what they have in store for the Black Friday.
Do they really have more room to reduce their prices? If they do, maybe I can find a jacket for myself! I need a warm one since Michigan winter will soon come.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 8:58 pm
Sleeping late this Free Black Friday
then sipping coffee and eating toast.
Will be comfy on the couch in my PJs
as I do my holiday shopping online at Sierra Trading Post!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:05 pm
Hurray! What could be better?
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:07 pm
5 am…shopping at 5 am…just can’t imagine it. Guarding my cart from the masses while I shoot a furtive glance at the shelves is not my style. Now, having a cup of coffee and leftover pie while surfing your website sounds like a great way to start the day. That’s a Black Friday I can live with. If only you guys sold groceries…anyway, thanks for making shopping painless STP!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:14 pm
Black Friday is my favorite day of the year. i get up early adn fight the crowds and later relax at home and order online from places like Sierra Trading Post. You can’t beat it. Ann F.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:29 pm
I think black friday is funny because its the one day a year that every retailer in America tries to duplicate what Sierra Trading does all year long. If all those people only knew……
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:29 pm
Enjoy “BLACK FRIDAY” everyday at Sierra Trading Post !! Black Friday will start with a bike ride decked out with STP bargain Haglof, Pearl Izumi, Smart Wool, etc… gear. Coffee at the finish line with great friends, cking out my STP bargains and a quick trip home to check the best store on the NET !! Most of my friends think I either work for you guys or get a commission !! STP will boost your bank account as much as it does your car !!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:29 pm
I love Black Friday because all those shoppers are supporting our economy and our government especially here in Chicago where we have the highest sales tax rate in the USA. Please come here and shop on Black Friday, or on any day.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:35 pm
Sierra is great
November 23rd, 2009 @ 9:44 pm

There’s no better way of shopping than using sierra’s website at work. No lines! I won’t be able to get out and shop but the use of work’s fast computer helps me get what I want.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:19 pm

November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:22 pm
I have NEVER shopped on a black friday. Every black friday for the last decade I have spent hiking with family and friends at my favorite Boy Scout camp. Using the boots and gear I get ridiculous deals on throughout the year at Sierra Trading Post!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:23 pm
I used to love shopping with my Mom years and years ago (as a kid)on the day after Thanksgiving (I don’t think it was called Black Friday then), it was an all-day event. Now I do all my Black Friday shopping on-line, no crowds, great deals and so easy..
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:25 pm
I still remember my first Black Friday…my mom sent me racing down an aisle to pick Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for my little brothers while she went to pick a doll for my little sister. I was surrounded by grown women pushing and shoving and grabbing. I was in shock at the rudeness. Then I looked at the check out line… it curved all the way around the store 2 people wide! Oh Boy!
I now have my own children, and much prefer the opportunity to get their gifts online. I love catalogs for them to look through and then ordering it…plus there is something special about getting a package in the mail! We all love it and I LOVE Sierra!
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:38 pm
They call it Stormy Monday, but Black Friday proves quite a beast.
From sun in the West to cold in the East, there’s no relaxing the day after the feast.
All-day traffic jams and a crazed crowd makes surviving a challenge for even the proud.
Back in their abode with a cold turkey roast, friends brag of deals, then offer up a toast.
But, improving my ‘tude while getting the most sees me logging on to Sierra Trading Post.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:45 pm
Sierra Trading Post is my favorite shopping mall.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 10:57 pm
I am going to love Black Friday for ever if I win this freebee…
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:10 pm

Black friday online is better.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:15 pm
Black Friday Haiku
Black Friday Shopping
Quality items for less
The “Post” is for me.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:18 pm
Whoa doggy, am I looking forward to Black Friday. Shopping for the small fry and the ole cowhands at Sierra Trading Post will be a cinch. Why my shoppin cart will be chock full of goodies at bargain prices. I’ll be shopping from the comfort of my home an won’t have to put up with the greenhorns at the local hitchin post. When I’m a done shoppin, I’ll pony up and get on with my day, by headin out. I’ll be relaxed and ready to enjoy the day.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:27 pm
I love Black Friday, but only on the web! I hate dealing with the crowds, the rude and nasty people that will run you over given a chance. Or how about the women that grab the item you are looking at, smile and walk off with it. Never giving you another look, or even ask if you were going to purchase that specific item. No parking anywhere. No Thanks!!! I’ll spend Black Friday at home where it’s nice and safeon my computer.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:32 pm
I look for Black Friday deals everywhere I can. But, it seems I get more stuff for me than gifts for others that day. ;-D
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:55 pm
The biggest deals.Black Friday,I love it.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:57 pm
The best part about Black Friday Shopping, is that you aren’t shopping for just yourself, you are shopping for your friends and family.
November 23rd, 2009 @ 11:58 pm
Early jump on holiday presents.
November 24th, 2009 @ 12:21 am
With a family of five and a recent move to Juneau Alaska and the effects of a bad economy we were fortunate enough to come by Sierra Trading Post. Needing to outfit are family with winter clothing and not being a family that shops for stuff online we took the chance of ordering from Sierra Trading Post.
We have never once been unhappy with the items that we ordered. Sierra Trading Post is a very customer friendly site with outstanding customer service.
Thank you Sierra Trading Post for your values.
November 24th, 2009 @ 12:32 am
STP is just the most
That’s what I want to post
I really do hate to boast
But from coast to coast
They’re THE holiday host.
Angels attending to our needs
Ready to make our holiday deeds
Unforgettable with golden beads
To cuddly shirts and Fido leads.
Ring the bells and toast the night
After all, you’ve earned the right
To bask in happiness and light.
Sierra was your Santa site!
November 24th, 2009 @ 12:40 am
If you enjoy running like a crazed wildebeest in a public setting, brave the cold and go to the mall this Friday.
I’m looking forward getting my Black Friday shopping high at sierratradingpost.com in my nice comfy warm home.
November 24th, 2009 @ 12:43 am
This could be sweet…thanks guys for your consideration.
November 24th, 2009 @ 12:49 am
I love Black Friday shopping because it’s fun and the thrill of getting a good deal and enjoying the madness with everyone else. It’s also the excitement that that carry until Christmas.
November 24th, 2009 @ 12:58 am
Online shopping is so much less hassle, and the selection so much greater.
November 24th, 2009 @ 1:04 am
What I love NOW about Black Friday is that STP has now given me THE reason to become one of the often refered to crazies!!! May I become a statistic everyone and let me shopping SPREE STP on Black Friday!!! Man I love this site!
November 24th, 2009 @ 1:22 am
Black Friday gives me a chance to do all of my Christmas shopping early. After a great day of being with family and giving thanks for the blessings that we have, nothing beats a few bargains to get ready for the new year!
November 24th, 2009 @ 1:37 am
What’s not to like? My favorite on-line “department store?” Oh, yeah!! Absolutely my favorite placed to shop. Check my latest shopping bag!!
November 24th, 2009 @ 1:54 am
Black Friday to me equals grabbing my down gore tex jacket and pants and huddling with friends in the wee hours of the night waiting to rush into a store at 5:00am. I stay warm all night in my clothes from STP. Sometimes I get good deals and sometimes I don’t but I always get great memories.
November 24th, 2009 @ 2:06 am
The best deals are on black Friday!
November 24th, 2009 @ 2:12 am
What I love about Black Friday Shopping are the super awesome prize opportunities like this one that I wouldn’t “trade” for anything. I can then shop @ STP for great deals from the comfort of my “post”…I mean home. Thanks for making a habit of taking care of your customers.
November 24th, 2009 @ 2:18 am
Your deals beat everyone else hands down most of the year, so why shop anywhere else on Black Friday? I’ll be enjoying the great outdoors, working off the results of turkey day and shopping via my Blackberry with STP, the only way to really save big.
November 24th, 2009 @ 2:44 am
No idea of what black friday is. One has to try to to have a chance to know what it is all about
November 24th, 2009 @ 3:26 am
Every day is like black friday on Sierra Trading Posts. I love watching for the deal flyers and clicking away to the savings!
November 24th, 2009 @ 3:29 am
Sierra has great value and great selections that can’t be found in stores.
November 24th, 2009 @ 3:29 am
I love Sierra Trading Post because I have champagne taste on a Kool Aid budget.
November 24th, 2009 @ 3:30 am
I love life,i hope on black friday i can get my favorite shoes.i will tell more Chinese friends to enjoy the shopping here.Merry Christmas!
November 24th, 2009 @ 3:42 am
God bless you Sierra Trading Post! Saving money on quality clothes is the only reason my family and I are cozy and warm this winter. Without you, our quality of life would be greatly diminished. You help us live the American dream.
November 24th, 2009 @ 3:58 am
Do most of my winter shopping online with Sierra. Prices, availability and delivery are very good.
Thanks,
Ed
November 24th, 2009 @ 4:11 am
I can get swimsuits for my friends in the south, and suede boots for my friends in the north… All in one place – at great prices. (And what’s left over, I get to keep!)
November 24th, 2009 @ 4:15 am
Love shopping the internet and avoiding the crowds!
November 24th, 2009 @ 4:16 am
We always say that we have a Sierra Trading Post Christmas! Finding gifts for family members and friends has been great through STP. We tell everyone we know about Sierra and get them loving it too!
November 24th, 2009 @ 4:19 am
As a new mom, I don’t have a lot of time to shop this year for Christmas presents. Black Friday is a great time to find online deals and do much of my Christmas shopping at Sierra Trading Post–all without leaving my son or dragging him all over the place in a stroller. Fortunately, my extended family all loves STP, so their wishlists always contain a number of STP items–straight out of the catalog or off of your website.
November 24th, 2009 @ 4:19 am
I love STP… and most of my gifts this year are from this site. Nothing feels better than getting a great deal and not having to fight the crowds :^)
fuzzy slippers, here I come!
November 24th, 2009 @ 4:23 am
The only thing that would make Sierra Trading Post better would be for you to offer great clothes and outdoor gear at incredible discounts. Oh wait, you do! Why spend any time in a mall when you can shop in the Sierras?
November 24th, 2009 @ 4:24 am
Saving money, and getting shopping done before it’s the last minute!
November 24th, 2009 @ 4:46 am
Black Friday is awful. If we need a true sign that retailers are destroying us and our traditions, then the name alone should do it. We have taken something that is supposed to be wonderful and turned it into something that ruins us.
That said, STP is the best and I’d rather spend the day with them than in some crowded shopping center parking lot.
November 24th, 2009 @ 4:56 am
1st time see this. I’m interesting in what the spree will be.
November 24th, 2009 @ 4:58 am
Fight huge crowds for a few deals in a store or enjoy a cup of coffee in my favorite recliner while saving even more with STP? That reminds me, I need coffee.
November 24th, 2009 @ 4:59 am
It is so much easier to shop on STP, and the deals are always better. I love deals and Black Friday is usually the best day for deals.
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:02 am
As much as would love to risk being trampled outside one of those huge retail stores on Black Friday, I think I’ll stick to what I REALLY love: online shopping at Sierra Trading Post. They have great gifts for every member of the family, including the pets, and I get to shop in my pajamas.
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:03 am
What I love about black friday is, waking my teenage sons up realy realy early to go xmas shopping, seeing how miserable they are for the rest of the day, getting into a big crowd of people before the stores open and when it does, all the kaos. it makes the adrenaline pump. I JUST LOVE IT!!!!now thats what black friday is all about!!!!!excitement! the pushing, the shoving, the fighting. I look forward to this one day all year. oh yeah I forgot, all the bargains too.
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:06 am
I get up at 3:30 am every day for work anyway, so why should Black Friday be any different? I live on the east coast, so I’ll be 2 hours ahead in my shopping! I’m known as “Suzie saves a lot” at work, so you know I love a good deal!
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:07 am
Black Friday Rocks!!! So does Sierra Trading Post!!
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:12 am
Keep the elbows at your sides. Do your hand exercises. Warm up some hot apple cider & enjoy browsing your Sierra Trading Post deals. What could be better than that on Black Friday. You’re the best Sierra Trading Post. Thanks for giving!
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:14 am
I don’t have anything clever to say. All I know is I’ve saved $8000 over the years with STP and plan on saving even more. I browse the site almost daily, and tell pretty much everyone about it. A black friday shopping spree or whatever it ends up being would be pretty schweet.
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:16 am
Black Friday is my favorite day of the year. For me, its like Christmas. I buy all my Christmas presents, many of them for myself, at exceptional prices. My first place to shop is Sierra Trading Post. They have the best deals, and a great selection.
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:21 am
The excitement is building. THis Christmas is going to be the BEST ever. Shopping at Sierra Trading Post on Black Friday is going to make it even better.
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:24 am
The one day of the year that I enjoy getting up before the crack of dawn and shopping from my computer (instead of fighting the store crowds)! I can then sit back and enjoy the rest of the day with my family.
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:25 am
What I Love About Black Friday: Buying top quality, unique Christmas gifts for less from Sierra Trading Post (online!)
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:26 am
Sierra Trading Post + black Friday deals = savings and shopping dreams come true. Might just be all I want for Christmas!
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:26 am
I do every bit of my christmas shopping on this site- no lines, no hassles, great service and unbeatable prices all adds up to making the season jolly for me and the people on my list!
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:27 am
My friends get up so early
to fight the crowds so surly.
To them I like to boast,
I just go to Sierra Trading Post!
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:29 am
For the past 15 years I have celebrated Black Friday. I have stood in the freezing cold only in a 49er’s Starter Jacket. My long-john’s are past their prime containing unmentionable holes, and to top it off for I let my brother wear them once and he mistakenly thought he had a removable seat in them. My duck boots no longer seem to be water proof but constantly soaked. I have suffered long enough on Black Friday. Select me Sierra Trading Post I am your Knight.
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:33 am
Black Friday rocks. What a way to save money without leaving your home. Can’t wait.
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:35 am
I can’t imagine better deals than normal but Black Friday will be the best!
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:38 am
I love STP and their great deals. Black Friday sales are just the icing on the cake since my whole family are outdoor enthusiasts and I can get them gear they want and will use at unbeatable prices.
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:39 am
I despise Black Friday shopping in person and refuse to participate – but Black Friday online? I absolutely adore it! Snuggled in my jammies with a cup of coffee while everyone else is out running around like maniacs in the early hours.
Of course, I adore Sierra Trading Post, too! A Black Friday shopping spree will allow me to share the Sierra Trading Post love by gifting my friends and family, and of course I will brag about where all their gifts came from – it will be an STP Christmas! Yea for Sierra Trading Post and yea for online Black Friday shopping!
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:43 am
It’s fun getting up early and being in the crowds.
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:47 am
Wow! I love STP. Already bought many Christmas presents here, and will be back! The only way I can face Black Friday is at home with a cup of tea, in front of my laptop, with a leftover slice of pumpkin pie.
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:50 am
Most of my wardrobe comes from Sierra Trading Post; And Black Friday is the first day I seriously think about holiday shopping. Shopping Sierra Trading Post on Black Friday is indeed on the list!
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:50 am
I LOVE Black Friday because it gets me in the mood to celebrate Christmas! The deals are usually fantastic too!
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:50 am
Black Friday takes us back to our most primal instincts — hunting and gathering. Shopping for a great deal is part of our ingrained survival mode.
And as a product of two farm families, I’ve never had much cash but appreciate well-made, durable, wonderfully designed goods.
No one has better quality products than Sierra Trading. Thank you.
Bring on Black Friday!
November 24th, 2009 @ 5:54 am
Black Friday??? ARRGH! The lines, the crowds, the pushing and pulling and grabbing and fighting and…ei yi yi. The deals can be fantastic, but the shoppers aren’t usually in a festive mood. What a great idea – black friday from my laptop! NO pushy people, no waiting in line for folks to write the paper checks…Just great deals on great stuff for everyone on my list – including me! I’ll be first in line, take my time, and have the always wonderful shopping experience at Sierra Trading Post!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:02 am
I only shop at my favorite stores on Black Friday and Sierra Trading Post is at the top of that list.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:02 am
How could you NOT shop Black Friday with all those great Deals?!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:04 am
Purchased lots of gear this year from STP. Went to work with sled dogs in North Dakota from Georgia! Had to give up my dream and come home when husband diagnosed with brain tumor. Gear was great! Look forward to using it all again. Would be nice to win… not in the Christmas spirit yet and would be wonderful to shop from home. Good Luck eveyone! and Happy Holidays.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:04 am
i havent yet shopped sierra trading black friday event but i sure do like the deals the rest of the year. thanks sierra trading for your great service.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:04 am
Black Friday makes your dreams come true !
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:05 am
Are you kidding me? I can get Black Friday deals while I’m still in my underwear? I’ll be hitting the Sierra Trading Post website this Friday!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:05 am
Black Friday our tradition. We map out where the best deals are, divide into groups (there are 6 of us now) and head out early in the morning. Later we get together over ‘brunch’ and tell our war stories and share the goodies we purchased. It turns into a great day of fun, friendship and shopping for all of us.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:07 am
Sierra Trading Post ROCKS! The only way it could be any better for Black Friday is to have a store near me in the Music Capital of the world Austin, TX.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:09 am
Love the deals on STP. Would much rather shop here online than go to the store at 4 AM!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:09 am
Hot site for cool deals! Makes Christmas shopping on a tight budget a holiday miracle.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:09 am
Nothing is better than Sierra Trading Post deals and customer service on ANY given day. But add Black Friday and I am online shopping with the best combination ever!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:09 am
Love shopping at STP, no crowds, good folks to deal with.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:11 am
Hot site for cool deals.
you make Christmas shopping, on a tight budget, a holiday miracle. Thanks STP!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:14 am
Far from the madding crowd.
I will as always be doing all my holiday shopping via the internet. Minimizing my chances contracting any foreign flu viruses.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:14 am
I love to shop on Black Friday with my sister. We get much of our shopping done on that day and the savings are incredible.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:15 am
Its the thrill of the hunt! With Sierra Traders I can find everything for everyone in one place- at great prices and free shipping with their Sierra Trading Post Visa card. And I save even more money by not leaving the comfort of my home. Not to mention my sanity, not being mobbed by the crowds!!!!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:15 am
On Black Friday, let’s think about the less fortunate and use the deals to help them, too.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:15 am
The thing I love about Black Friday is staying home and spending time with my family. And baking some amazing comfort dessert. I really don’t venture into stores . . .
I’ve been a happy customer for about 9 years. Yeah, I could spend a good amount of time just shopping on your site on Black Friday. Hopefully I will! How fun would THAT be
I have to say I love STP. God bless you all! From the selection to the prices to the customer service, and the Bible verse you get at the checkout, you can’t beat it
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:16 am
Last Black Friday, I did every, single bit of my Christmas shopping. At home, from the comfort of my lazy boy with my laptop. No malls, with their groups of teenage girls. No parking hassles. No fighting the elements. The internet and Black Friday FTW!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:18 am
Because I’m a retail JUNKIE, THAT’S why I love Black Friday shopping!! Who can pass up deals that are that amazing?!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:19 am
SO GLAD that Black Friday is now featured on the internet.
I live in a rural area and am also somewhat unable to travel to and cruse the big stores and malls. How wonderful to do my Christmas shopping at such bargins on Sierra Trading Post site!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:20 am
I love Black Friday because of the great deals I can get. Money’s always tight, but Black Friday makes it easier to get whats on everyones Christmas lists.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:21 am
Not a fan of store shopping on Black Friday. However, online shopping at my favourite website STP? Oh yeah…. definitely….emphatically.. a big yes….the only way to shop!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:24 am
I love shopping at Sierra Trading post for their great prices, selection and ease of shopping, because I can’t stand the malls and mall pricing. Nothing’s easier than shopping in PJ’s in the comfort of my home.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:25 am
I went Black Friday shopping once about 20 years ago. The memory is still good enough to keep me from going this year and probably the next several or maybe at least until i am senile!! I love shopping online!!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:25 am
The best way to spend any shopping day–online at Sierra. No lines, no traffic, just great deals.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:26 am
shop deals in your pajamas
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:26 am
Black Friday isn’t just an ordinary day
It’s a very special way
that Sierra Trading Post
gives us a Holiday Toast!!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:26 am
Black Friday is the bomb because I get to wander around all dazed out with other dazed out people digging all the deals and sipping huge amounts of high gear espresso. There’s a huge comraderie about that early morning deal shopping with everyone telling everyone else where the best deals on what are. It’s like a huge party!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:29 am
I get energized by the busyness of the day.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:33 am
I love to see what kind of deals I can score for myself (and maybe 1 or 2 for someone on my list).
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:33 am
what could be finer ?…….
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:35 am
I found Sierra Trading Post through Student Advantage and the website is great for a student like me who is trying to save money
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:35 am
It has been my 1st purchase from Sierra Trading Post few days back the crew is really helpful. Looking forward to buy more on Black Friday.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:36 am
Who doesn’t love Black Friday shopping,,,sitting by your computer with a cup of coffee, in your pajamas! Online shopping has changed the whole miserable experience into a wonderful event! Thanks Sierra Trading Post!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:37 am
Black Friday shopping is a rush – But shopping by web is where the real deals are!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:37 am
I love shopping on Black Friday, especially online with Sierra Trading Post. No standing in line for this shopper. I let my fingers do the ordering. How much easier could it get. Thank you STP and Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
Nancy
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:38 am
I especially like Sierra Trading post Black Friday deals, because I don’t have to get up early. I’m too old to enjoy that anymore, but I love bargains and deals. Especially before the holidays as I can afford to shop for my loved ones. Especially my grandbabies. Happy Holidays to all.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:41 am
I enjoy waking up early on Black Friday but not because I shop with everyone else in the stores. I get to drink my coffee in my pj’s and click away on the computer, finding great deals without the crowds…awesome.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:41 am
I love black Friday shopping because I’m a very early riser and not too many other people actually make to the stores very early.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:42 am
I love Black Friday…for that one and only special deal. However I can find the best deals at Sierra Trading online! It is my favorite place to shop for holidays and all special occasions!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:43 am
Like most of my shopping, I prefer to do it on-line at STP. I can shop at 6:am in the comfort of my pj’s and my favorite chair, avoid the traffic and the crowds, and be home with my visiting family. My wife reminds me that you make it far too easy to spend our money with great products, great prices and I never have to leave home to buy them. Thanks, and have a Happy Holiday
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:44 am
I can’t take the crowds at stores on Black Friday, that’s why Sierra Trading Post is an amazing resource, because I can get the best variety of quality gift items (and some for myself) all from the comfort of my home. Thanks Sierra Trading Post!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:45 am
I’ve always loved Black Friday to find the best deals on gifts for my friends and family. Now that I’m able to do most of my shopping online it becomes even more exciting, better incredible deals especially @STP. I can gear up for the upcoming winter months too!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:46 am
I love Black Friday because I am home sleeping while others are out early to buy stuff they don’t really need.
I can shop for anything I might need online with Seriah Trading Post getting ready for my trip to Colorado for the Holidays’ Yeppie!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:47 am
I love shopping on Black Friday. Only online. You have to be crazy to go to a store on Black Friday. Online is the only way.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:50 am
It is better to keep one’s mouth shut and remain a fool, then to open it and remove all doubt. Pick me I need the help
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:53 am
I Black friday shop every year. Love the electricity in the air. I usually can see my breath while standing in line waiting for the doors to open, not this year I’m awaiting STP deals online!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:56 am
Now, I have even more reasons to buy all the super great deals I want at STP on Black Friday! It’s time to shop for family and friends and surprise them with the high-quality products from STP!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:56 am
I hate Black Friday, unless I can shop on line. I call it ” cow day “. People wait outside the doors of the stores like cows waiting to ge in the barn. When the doors are opened they stampeed !!!!!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:57 am
I love Black Friday because it keeps me young. It was such a big deal when my children were small and I HAD to be there first thing to get the must have toys or gifts before they were all sold. It was a challenge and a game and I loved playing it. Now I participate in Black Friday because for me it announces the beginning of the Christmas Season and I go out to get caught up in the atmosphere. It also brings back the fond memories of when the kids were young and life seemed more simple.
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:57 am
Shopping at Sierra Trading Post is wonderful…everyday seems like a Black Friday. So if the deals are better on the real Black Friday I can’t wait!!!!!
November 24th, 2009 @ 6:58 am
Black Friday sounds so ominous. But, my mood is far from black since I do most of my shopping online. I have found that Sierra TP has items that are not only on my hopeing for list, but also on family and friends list. One of the things on my hopeing for list this year is a Free Black Friday. Whoo hee!
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:00 am
Why shop anywhere else? Black Friday is the perfect day to do all of your holiday shopping online, and where else but Sierra Trading Post can you save so much of your hard-earned CASH on quality brand name items for everyone on your list!
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:01 am
My wife hates shopping, this year my daughter-in-law is coming to town and can’t wait to go with me finding all the deals, cause that’s my job.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:01 am
Doing ALL of my Christmas shopping at sierra.com!
Be good to the earth and shop online this year! I’d rather be in my slippers at hone than dealing with crowds and catching virus’
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:02 am
Black Friday is only best on line. No traffic, no bad weather. I can pretend I am in the Bahamas—doing my Christmas shopping
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:04 am
Malls are for lemmings. Sierra Trading Post is fun, informative, and filled with stuff I want. However, I think you should give the prize to Amy (23 Nov 6:20pm) who has to work on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:04 am
Sierra Trading Post Rocks. I’ll be hangin’at home this black friday shopping at the post! Great selection and great deals.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:11 am
Sierra Trading Post is the best place for Christmas shopping-no crowds online.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:12 am
I love ST Black Friday . Wish it could be every day.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:12 am
Call me crazy, but I kinda enjoy watching all the people flittering about from store to store on Black Friday. And the shopping deals aren’t bad either!
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:13 am
My wife introduced me to Sierra Trading Post a few years ago and I have become a daily viewer and shopper! My purchases were made on my wife’s account until I signed myself up this year. About 90% of my hunting and outdoor clothing & gear come from Sierra Trading and Black Friday gives me the opportunity to get some really great deals on purchases that I have put off. Not to mention all my hunting buddies now use Sierra Trading for their needs as well. Friday I will be hunting in the early morning but will be surfing for a deal on Sierra when I come in for lunch!
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:13 am
Sierra Trading Post is my Black Friday everyday. It’s all in their name:
S – Saves time fighting
the Malls
T – The merchandise is
fantastic
P – Prices can’t be beat
With extra savings on Black Friday, the only thing I’m running to in the early AM is my computer and STP.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:16 am
Black Friday…I get giddy just thinking about it! The thrill of the hunt, the killer deals, the unbelievable savings. I’ll be setting my alarm clock for early.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:17 am
Black Friday shopping…..the only day I look forward to getting up at 4am. It’s tradition for mom & I to hit the sales…though i’ve been scouting out online sales too and Sierra Trading Post is one of my first stops for my hubby’s Christmas list!
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:18 am
The best part of this Black Friday will be shopping online at STP with a free shopping spree!:) Actually, shopping any day with STP is better price wise then battling any Black Friday store freakout, price wise. Sierra Trading Post rules the other 364 days of the year!
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:18 am
It’s all about the deals, looking forward to saving big time on quality mechandise
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:19 am
It’s great to be well-dressed and Black Friday is the perfect time to get that warm winter clothing.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:19 am
I love the thrill of the hunt on black friday. I have a strategy and a plan of attack. It’s a lot like going into battle when having to deal with all the other crazy people at the mall. So once I tire of all that I excite, since i will inevitably still be in need of some super sweet gifts, thats when I turn to sierra trading post to get the rest and usually best gifts.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:20 am
SHOP IN YOUR PJS WITH A CUP OF JOE
SHOPPING SIERRA TRADING POST IS THE WAY TO GO
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:21 am
Sierra offers more than great values. They offer some of the most prestigeous manufactures producing from the finest mills. Many European names unavailable in most cities. I’ll shop Black Friday for the items I would not otherwise afford. Sierra is a shopping spree.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:21 am
Always look forward to the sales offered. Great savings!
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:22 am
I can enjoy Black Friday savings every day when I shop Sierra Trading Post. Shopping Sierra Trading Post on Black Friday is the next best thing to getting quality merchandise for FREE! Plus I can enjoy my family instead of the stress of a retail space.
Thank you Sierra Trading Post!
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:23 am
Online Black Friday Shopping rocks! No lines, No chaos, and awesome deals!
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:23 am
Black Friday online at Sierra Trading Post, Santa hold me back!!!!At least this year I won’t have to go out in public in my sock monkey pajamas in order to get the deals. I can’t wait!!!!
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:24 am
I am not a professional black friday shopper, up at 4 at the stores by 5 or 6am, just a casual one. But having a shopping spree at your website would get me up and moving in no time. May you all be blessed as we have much to be thankful for.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:25 am
Love Black Friday. Wit 3 kids in college, Sierra Trading post is the best place to get the best brands on all outdoor gear, clothing, and accessories
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:26 am
I’ve been a faithful STP fan and customer for many years. Great products, great prices, great customer service. And if Black Friday is the way to get even better deals, I’m there!
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:29 am
Believe it or not, Black Friday has helped to create great memories. My husband typically works on Black Friday, leaving me to juggle kids and all those deals. Finally, I figured out how to make it a game. I plopped my toddler into the shopping cart and blindfolded him with a bandana. We had lots of laughs together, but got the deals and lots of funny looks, too.
He’s too big to sit blindfolded in a cart now, but braving the crowds isn’t nearly so fun without him…I’ll be online at Sierra! Happy Shopping!
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:29 am
I have received many blessings: a job, a roof over my head, people I love who love me back. A Black Friday shopping spree would be for those in need, those who don’t have the essentials during these cold months.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:31 am
yea! love the trading post!
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:33 am
Think cold, traffic, crowded… it would be great not to have to go to any store on Black Friday.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:33 am
I wouldn’t go into a store on Black Friday on a dare. STP is much easier!
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:36 am
I remember getting up when it was dark as a child to begin the retail extravaganza. Now it is as much about tradition as it is about saving money. I love the rush of hoping that I will be one of the lucky few that gets the best deal. More than anything, the savings earned shopping on Black Friday create additional allowances for more gift-giving, and isn’t generosity what the holiday season is all about?
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:36 am
Sierra deals are great everyday, but Black Friday is the best way to shop for Christmas. At home and great deals
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:37 am
Let’s call it “Golden Friday” instead. So much nicer to shop from my home office with a good cup of coffee and my favorite online retailer! Keep the deals coming STP!
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:37 am
I havn’t done this yet but it sounds like fun.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:37 am
I tried the in store shopping on Black Friday a couple of times and it was SCARY!!!! This year I plan on doing my Black Friday Christmas Shopping from the warmth of my home with a cup of coffee and my kid with fur (Toby) on my lap. Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Black Friday.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:37 am
STP prices are awesome all year. If they have a special sale, it’s an event not to miss.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:37 am
Every day is Black Friday at STP. First go to place before any other site or bricks and mortar store. No waiting in line. Plenty of time to choose and discuss color etc with the whole family. Can email them suggestions. All from the comfort of your home. One sale day a year? Hardly. We have a great relationship with our UPS man because of you. Thanks for a great staff online and on the phone. You Rock.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:38 am
Black Friday rocks because I get to reward myself with early Christmas gifts from STP! Happy Holidays!
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:38 am
i love black friday prices and it’s hard to belive you can find a better price anywhere.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:38 am

I only shop at the best place on the planet for clothing and shoes, – Sierra Trading Post. If they ahd a store near me, I would be the first in line on Black Friday.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:48 am
Black Friday shopping is scarier than Halloween, but not at Sierra Trading, my new favorite shopping site! I can spend hours because there is something for everyone.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:49 am
Love the bargains of black Friday but dislike the crowds so you’ll find me at home by my computer on Friday doing my shopping on line.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:50 am
I love the kick off to holiday shopping and all the excitement! Sierra Trading Post rocks for great deals!
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:53 am
I much prefer shopping on Sierra Trading Post during the holidays to fighting the crowds. The deals here are better than retail to begin with, so sales are that much sweeter!
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:53 am
Guilty pleasure, I love it.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:54 am
This is my first to come to US. I know black friday even I was in my country. Everything will have crazy discount. I believe this time it wouldn’t let me down.
November 24th, 2009 @ 7:57 am
If shopping Sierra Trading was a football game versus Mall Shopping, score would read: Sierra 110, Mall 0*
*Game called after first quarter due to “mercy” rule
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:02 am
There was a young girl from Kentucky
And seeing this Black Friday ad felt quite lucky.
Some Christmas bucks thought she could save
On special products for her gentle knave
To win great deals and brands would be just ducky.
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:02 am
Black Friday offers great deals with money savings. Nice to be able to shop from home now. Easier shopping.
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:03 am
I LOVE WHEN BLACK FRIDAY IS OVER!!!! Sierra Trading Post is a lifesaver for me – I can’t stand the crowded stores!
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:08 am
Black friday shopping at STP is the BEST b/c I can do it in my PJs with coffee in hand. you cna’t do that at the other stores.
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:10 am
What better way to celebrate Thanksgiving than staying up late into the night Thursday with family and friends, knowing that you don’t have wake up in just a few hours to fight tooth and nail against your fellow man to score a few deals. STP makes it easy to score great deals year round. I thank God for all the amazing activities that he has blessed me with the opportunity to participate in (snowboarding, snowshoeing, backpacking, mountain biking, rock climbing, the list goes on). I thank STP for great deals on all the gear I need to experience God’s great earth in the most spectacular ways possible. Sincerely, thank you Sierra Trading Post!
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:15 am
Sierra Trading Post makes holiday shopping easy and fun. I’m always coming back to the website to check the deals. Black Friday will be even better!
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:16 am
I just love STP. I shop here so much, I think I have clothed my husband from head to toe for the next year already. Black Friday might just help with the rest of the family lol. I can’t wait. I already wait for my deals flyers. This will be even worse.
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:16 am
I love Black Friday because my son goes with me. He is 6′4″ and can see over the crowd to do reconnaissance. We will check out STP before we leave for exceptional deals on his size 13 shoes.
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:18 am
Black Friday sales at STP. OMG I just can’t wait. I thought deal flyer was great. This has to be so much better.
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:22 am
I LOVE black friday, and even more now that I can shop from my own home online!!! Most of my shopping will be done that day, which leaves the rest of the month alittle less stressful.
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:22 am
To our family it’s the official beginning of the Holiday Season. Although the grandchildren are much too grown up for the traditional day out with gramma, they still manage to give her a call on Friday. To us the shopping was secondary to a day with the younger side of the family.
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:23 am
Black Friday is the Shopper’s equivalent to the Olympic Opening Ceremonies! You can’t wait for it to happen, its always exciting and new and you are never disappointed. And just like the Olympics, Black Friday kicks off loads of events including the ever popular “grab the last one at that bargain price before someone else does”. Only the strongest shopper can participate and to the victor go the spoils! Let the Games Begin! Go team USA.
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:24 am
With a two year old and a seven month old at home, I just don’t do brick and mortar stores anymore. I look forward to making a fabulous pot of hot chocolate and coffee at the crack of dawn and sitting in my pjs at home while I find great deals on all the stuff my family needs, and “be back home” in time for breakfast with my babies and wonderful husband.
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:25 am
Thank god that Sierra Trading Post is having a Black Friday Giveaway. They are the best!
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:32 am
I am a cyber black friday junkie!
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:33 am
Shopping at Sierra is the only place to shop for fitness, shoes & my dog!! This year with 2 in Iraq & hoping to get a phone call, shopping online is the only way to be part of Black Friday.
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:36 am
Best deals on the WEB, Black Firday is extras special.
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:36 am
We make black Friday a family event. The kids really look forward to getting up really early and hunting down deals. Then, we go to breakfast and then the parade. It is a great way to start the Holidays with our kids.
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:37 am
I can’t wait for Free Black Friday sale at STP!
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:38 am
Black Friday has a different meaning for me this year, unfortunately I won’t be participating much since my job was exported to India this summer. However if I win a Gift Card from Sierratradingpost.com
I would truly make my Christmas season!
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:41 am
What a gift winning your Black friday contest would be! My household has saved alot of money shopping with STP. We’ve needed to buy things for our camper, lots of slippers the dogs destroy and warm and wet and well, good outdoor gear for attending all of my sheepdog trials. I love it when someone asks where I got it…I say, STP…you’ll be amazed at what they offer. Your business is a blessing in these times…thank you. I hope I can succeed well enough to travel west to trial my dog. I would love to be able to shop inside one of your stores. p.s. the dogs would love some new beds…
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:41 am
I love black friday shopping at STP
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:42 am
More fun than a barrel of Monkeys……
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:43 am
The kill or be killed nature of the day and all the great schwag
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:46 am
I am the master of streching a dollar! Sierratradingpost.com on Black Friday is serious savings on seriously nice stuff. Seriously!
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:48 am
I get the biggest kick out of “Black Friday” and all the extreme measures that people go to, to get that “ONE” special dea. I start out with going thru all the Ads on Thanksgiving, but THE best part is watching the replays on the news during the day/evening on Friday to see all the hoopla that happened during the frenzied shopping… (I don’t have the nerve/guts to go out in it tho… Kudo’s to Sierra Trading Post and all the others that now offer the same great deals on line! Mntma
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:49 am
I am looking forward to some great bargains for kids this year. I am an empty nester with no grand kids. I have “adopted” some local children whose families are having a tough time this year. So I can’t wait to get out there and find some great things for the kids to have under the tree! We only have a few short years to be kids, and have magic Christmastimes.
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:51 am
I’m really glad I found Sierra Trading Post because being out there in the crowded stores would give me a panic attack. Seriously! It used to be lots of fun when I was younger, though. Great deals on toys for the kids, etc… Have fun everyone else!
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:52 am
STP is the best resource for high-quality merch & superlative customer service, both on the web & in person at their outlet stores. I’m always referring my own clients to STP & the store in Meridian. But, a Black Friday shopping spree would be a boon to me & my family as my work week has been cut to 2 days. These days, every little bit helps. BTW, Brennan H’s entry, sent (in a bottle?) from some low-lying atoll, deserves something for being a quality read. As to his chafing woes, some well-chosen Ex Officio drawers will end his red & swollen misery. Guaranteed!
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:53 am
Sierra Trading Post (online) is my Black Friday alpha e-destination! I’ve been warming up my fingers for weeks for the destruction I am about to wage on them deelz! The only thing missing from this holiday shopping experience is the wooden buckets, 25 feet of garden hose, and six rubber bats I would usually be armed with at fine local retailers!!!
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:54 am
I always work on Black Friday and prefer to avoid the crowds of people anyway.
Sierra Trading Post is so much easier to do my holiday shopping with. I get some of the best deals here!
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:54 am
hmmmm… BLACK Friday… Black is the culmination of all colors, like a rainbow mixed into one big black pot filled with Gold… which can only be found at SIERRA TRADING POST! Oh how I wish to win my way to the end of the BLACK rainbow.
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:54 am
UGH! The thought of stepping outside that day. I do not like to shop. I don’t like to deal with crowds. But, I do like to shop on STP’s website. I prepare myself by making a wish list, ok, a Must Have list and look forward to stress free shopping. Being able to save my shopping cart and add to it later in the day beats forgetting something and heading back to the mall. Not having to elbow someone to grab the last one. I could never shop that way.
And having satisfaction in seeing my savings makes shopping at STP very worthwhile. Yours is a great business.
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:54 am
For me it is more about the people watching than the shopping. Sometimes it is like a car crash, you just can’t look away!
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:55 am
ALWAYS GREAT buys at STP!!
Never worry about returns – if too large or small – just find another home for item –
Quality NEVER an issue –
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:57 am
Trying to wait patiently
November 24th, 2009 @ 8:57 am
Black Friday.Camping outside the local stores to get a chance at one of the 20 extra special deals. Not this year, sipping hot cocoa with a turkey sandwich in front of the computer getting the great deals at STP!
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:01 am
amazing quality products, frist class customer service, best prices on the planet. We shop at sierratradingpost.com every friday, what’s it going to be like on Black Friday??!!
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:03 am
In the past Black Friday was a day to stay at home – the rowdy, noisy crowds and the often sold out merchandise would amount to a 4-Motrin day. This has all changed with online shopping. Stores such as Sierra Trading Post are a Godsend! STP is a family favorite in that it provides us with an opportunity to purchase brands that we could not otherwise buy at retail prices. Thanks for making Black Friday an exciting shopping experience for me.
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:08 am
Sierra Trading Post’s Black Friday allows me to save in my jammies. Good-by to the incessant “jingle jingle friends are calling you-hoo chestnut” music. A second cup of java is just a quiet click away.
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:09 am
Black Friday is a great time for deals on Christmas gifts. But its also an excellent time to stretch the charity budget. I like to get things for our local toy & winter coat drives.
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:11 am
Black Friday is exciting because you never know what awesome deals you might score! It’s almost as exciting as Christmas morning. The anticipation – the nerves- the excitement of it all.
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:11 am
Hopefully Black Friday turns into White Friday, with lots of snow and some gear from STP.
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:13 am
As I sit here at my computer, lost somewhere between Facebook and Sierra Trading Post, I am thankful that I will once again be able to avoid that for which ‘Black Friday’ was named. Miles and miles away from the frenetic, overwhelming pace of the shopping crowd, I relax. Whlie others are up at 4:00 AM only to stand in line in an expansive ‘concrete hell’ filled with holiday drones who have forgotten all about the idea of holiday cheer, I too will be up, but with a vastly different agenda. I will be joined pre dawn by the men in my family and three seasoned gun dogs at the edge of a frost covered field in North Central Kansas. As the sun rises, God’s world comes alive and the hunt is on. After a long day of walking the countryside, laughing and sharing stories, we retire to the house to forage the leftovers from the Thanksgiving day spread. A trip to Sierratradingpost.com where 99% of my holiday shopping will be done will round out my day. Thanks for making the Christmas season so easy and stress free. Happy Holidays and God bless.

This is my first time, but I am so excited about possibly winning the Black Friday shopping spree! I shop Sierra Trading Post, often and just love all their ’stuff’. Plus, I never have a problem, even when I return an item. Can’t wait for Black Friday!!
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:15 am
lots of opportunity remains for getting the most for your $ when you go online BLACK FRIDAY @ Sierra Trading Post!
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:15 am
I’m addicted to outdoors gear and probably spend more time shopping for it than I actually spend using it outdoors. Although “Black Friday” sounds like something melancholy, like the celebration of a great Moldovan battle that ended in defeat and utter destruction, I still appreciate the bargains.
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:15 am
I am a bargain lover at heart. Bring on Black Friday deals!
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:16 am
I don’t really like shopping, so Black Friday shopping strikes me as something of a nightmare. Top quality products at a great price that I can put to hard use and enjoy myself without all the hassle, now that I can appreciate. Sierra Trading Post has the outfitting I need to spend my free time kayaking and camping along the open coast islands and beaches, and away from the traffic and crowds.
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:18 am
Frankly, I don’t love shopping on Black Friday. It is just too crazy around here. What I love is getting a great deal at Sierra Trading Post – and I get that every day. But I could love getting an even better deal at Sierra Trading Post!
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:18 am
I love the deals on quality products I can get at Sierra Trading Post. Great stuff at great prices. Black Friday at SierraTradingPost.com keeps my holiday spending in the black!
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:20 am
Don’t beat yourself up shopping this year. Relax and get what you need from STP on Black Friday. Or you’ll be blue on Monday.
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:20 am
Black Friday savings from the comfort of my home..now that’s a great shopping experience..especially at Sierra Trading Post, my favorite retailer anyway because of the great selection and prices…
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:20 am

November 24th, 2009 @ 9:22 am
I love the excitement that comes with Black Friday. I go every year and love the deals that I get. I am glad that that the online stores offer it now…yet another reason to get up early Friday morning, or better yet stay up all night
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:26 am
Nobody has greater deals or service than Sierratradingpost.com. Black Friday will be the first and last Holiday shopping day for me!
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:27 am
Shopping on Sierra Outpost on Black Friday, getting great deals and great items, is like Christmas in November – but isn’t that what it is suppose to be?
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:27 am
Shop online, no crowds, done. I love it!
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:28 am
I love that I can buy stuff without going to a mall.
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:29 am
I don’t care what the deals are. I wouldn’t dream of going to any retail store on that dreaded black friday. But, shopping online at Sierra would be fun, not insane.
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:30 am
Black Friday is like a treasure hunt and the excitement is finding that really super deal.
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:32 am
The opportunity to get a big ticket item that I would not ordinarily pick up due to original prices.
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:32 am
I really enjoy watching other people on Black Friday. The excitement that a person displays when they are able to find the things that they wanted to buy is a true show and worth getting up early (and it’s free). Good luck to everyone. I’ll be watching.
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:32 am
What could be better than leaving your nice warm bed to stand in the cold crush of humanity and partake in the ritual known as BLACK FRIDAY? How about slippers, coffee and the warm glow of a computer monitor as you surf for holiday goodies? YOU ROCK STP!!
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:33 am
I love to people watch at the mall on Black Friday (if I can find a parking spot!). I love to see parents and grandparents with their armloads of bags and boxes. I love the smell of the Christmas-flavored coffees, the sounds of the high school band playing Christmas carols on the center stage, and the free candy canes you find at every cash register.
I just discovered Sierra Trading Post, and I think it’s the start of a lifelong friendship. I can find great stuff for a great price here.
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:34 am
I love shopping at great prices. The best is this is just in time for Christmas so I can be a little more “extragant” with my dear ones!
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:36 am

I would head out at midnight for bargains and shop till the sun came up on Black Friday! After getting sick 3 yrs. in a row, I now stay in my warm jammies, and shop online. Getting my daily emails from Sierra has been a blessing, and that’s where I’ll be this year!
November 24th, 2009 @ 9:54 am
Black Friday ONLINE is the only way to go! I won’t be trampling any toes whilst running through the mall. The next best thing is when the delivery truck stops at my home.

Black Friday is an adrenaline rush of merchandise procurement! The excitement of getting the lowest possible prices, the strategy of the retail lineup, and the unadulterated joy of finding a bargain. Sierra Trading Post brings me that joy often and is my first stop for fantastic items at prices that feel too good to be true. Bring on the Black Friday rush!

November 24th, 2009 @ 10:01 am
Nature versus nurture, survival of the fittest, creationism versus evolution, the early bird gets to worm are all concepts recognized internationally even cosmically. Using all in a Zen stupor/meditation I focus my energies and bleary eyes to elicit the predetermined ordained destiny, (cheap Christmas booty). Oh and a triple shot dry cappuccino, not too hot, using fresh roasted organic/fair trade Colombian based espresso, just to tip the Karma scales in my favor)
November 24th, 2009 @ 10:02 am
I love shopping online on Black Friday – you can check reviews, sizes, colors & get shipping direct to relatives across the country while in your PJ’s!
November 24th, 2009 @ 10:02 am

November 24th, 2009 @ 10:03 am
I think it should be called “Golden Opportunity Friday”! It is the only way that I can afford to get my friends and family the things that they love and deserve! I love being able to get Black Friday deals on line. Thank you Sierra Trading Post!
November 24th, 2009 @ 10:04 am

November 24th, 2009 @ 10:07 am

Experiencing Black Friday in LA is my way of feeling like I’m back in NYC, about to get on the subway. Crowds, people pushing, no one waiting for anyone else. It’s every man, woman and child for him/herself. To be able to shop BF online at STP will be a RELIEF. And I won’t have to throw any elbows, either.
November 24th, 2009 @ 10:14 am
Everyday seems like Black Friday at Sierra Trading Post with the sweet deals they offer, but considering STP is going to treat us to some extra special stuff on Friday, I CANNOT wait to see the surprises they have online and instores for us, season’s greetings!!!
November 24th, 2009 @ 10:14 am
STP + Black Friday = Holiday Goodness…from the warm confines of my jammies and without having to share the riff-raff’s H1N1. Thanks STP!!
