It’s easy to add intervals to any workout. Simply alternate high-intensity bursts of speed with low-intensity recovery periods. For example, if you were running, you would sprinkle minute-long sprints in between longer periods of jogging. Just increase and decrease your level of exertion a few times. Here’s how it works.
