If you thought Mossy Oak camouflage was just worn for hunting, think again…
Last weekend, this mountain mama from West Virginia forgo the traditional white gown in favor of a Mossy Oak Break-Up wedding dress instead. That’s right. She was married in a camouflage dress and veil.
Both Brook Davis and her husband, Jason Michael, are avid hunters and couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate their union than with a hunting-themed wedding. The dress was a surprise for Michael, however, who had expected his bride to be wearing white. But don’t think he was disappointed!
I just wonder how he spotted her walking down the aisle in all that camo. She must have been hard to make out.
If you’d rather use your Mossy Oak to hide out in the woods and fill your elk tag, we’ve got a great selection. If you’d like to make a dress out of it, just buy a few jackets and find a good seamstress.

So you liked the camo wedding dress. I hope I was one of the first people to have it or the first. That was me all camo and hunting boots. I wouldn’t have had it any other was. The love of hunting is in my blood. Hope everyone enjoyed it. It took along time to get it custom made but it was well worth it and I would do it again.

I’ve been creating a line of wedding/prom gowns with mossy oak and tru timber bridal satin as accent colors. It’s called ‘A Touch of Camo’ and you can see a couple of the dresses and a veil on the website. I am having a camo wedding in Sept…..I am having trouble finding favors and shoes for me and my bridesmaids…..I found my flowers on ebay and they have some camo veils on their too (I just typed in Camouflage wedding)…..Also if anyone knows where to get plates, etc….that are camouflage that would be awesome too….I am open to hearing from anyone on any ideas at all for a camo wedding!! You all can visit my website and see a variety of all camo and more traditional wedding gowns with camo as the accent color. We’re just finishing up a really successful prom season, and over the summer will be creating bridesmaid dresses from some of those all camo prom designs, so the cost can be more in line with BM dresses. Wedding gowns are custom made and to all your own measurements too, so less expenses in alterations after it arrives.
I am happy to help anyone needing ideas, assistance in planning this type of wedding or other affair too.

I recently started my own camo dress shop. I just finished my first dress from scratch! Yikes! and it was awesome, black satin, pink satin, and zebra! The site is new so Im working out the kinks. I love the idea of creating a new and different look using many different types of patterns and materials and camo. I would also love to add camo to your traditional dress, to give it some flair. hey ,camouflage weddings are the hottest trend and has become an elegant theme. Contrary to the sterotype it is not spit cans and boots …it is just a pattern to create a beautiful wedding. I am planning my camo wedding for next year. I was looking for the link to see the wedding dresses you have made. Also just an idea for the rest of you that are avid hunters. I go to a kind of preppy private school and everyone and my class thinks im a hick because I am one of the few that lives on a farm. I love sewing and making clothes and dresses, and I also run a small tailoring business.I find inspiration from fashion televion programs and magazines. Children dresses also attracts new ideas for me. I feel every dress has its own beauty and uniqueness which cannot be replicated. I apply this thought when I design my own clothes.

Hey Yall! I had a mossy oak wedding in december of 2007. I have a couple chocolate brown bridesmaid dresses that are strapless and super cute. I believe I have 2 of them. I also have about 200 feet of mossy oak fabric that I was going to use but never did. It is only about 18-24″ wide, but it can be used for just about anything! table clothes, aisle runner, whatever. I have 10 green cglass plates I used for centerpieves, and a few things. I also have all the flowers from my wedding that I would be willing to part with for the right price. I love the whole camo theme! I wore a camo dress to prom and i got some very hard stares at the resturaunt we ate at! I always said i was going to have a camo prom dress and a camo wedding so my one wush came true and hopefully my wedding wish will to!

I’m having a camo wedding in June and I’m down to the line…I’m looking for a flower girl basket that isn’t completely tacky! The guys at snydercreek are the most awesome ever! They found me fabric when everyone was out and literally saved my wedding! My dress is haltered and off-white with the mossy oak break up pattern in the godets of the bottom. i love the idea for a Camo wedding. I live in a small town where everybody does the same thing every time they get married.. blah blah blah. you know how that goes. Well I got the bright idea a year or so ago.. && actually my fiance’ loved the idea so much he wanted to get married alot sooner then later.. go figure. well we haven’t really set a date yet.. but we are working on it. I just wanted to tell you i like your idea.
