Patagonia’s New Expedition Site, The Tin Shed
If you’re hungry for adventure stories and multimedia, you’re in for a treat. Patagonia just launched a new site called The Tin Shed which features expedition photos, video and stories from “friends and ambassadors” of the Patagonia brand.
According to the site, Patagonia used to operate out of a tin shed, hence the name. Now that they’ve outgrown those humble digs, (a few times over) this symbolic online tin shed contains stories of their adventures. From slideshows to video, audio, and print, The Tin Shed is stocked full of expedition notes and journals.
Everything from a field report by Henry Barber, one of the world’s influential free climbers, to a narrated slideshow of Rolando Garibotti’s successful Torre Traverse in Patagonia, there’s a lot to read, see, and hear in the shed.
