Return to the Outdoors Contest

Back in April, we told you about a contest sponsored by the Conservation Alliance and Timex called “Return to the Outdoors.” The goal of the contest and initiative, according to the website, is to encourage people to get back outdoors…

Timex Expedition’s Return to the Outdoors™ initiative will inspire the nation to reconnect with the timelessness of nature. As a part of this journey, Timex will partner with The Conservation Alliance and world-class alpinist and rock climber Conrad Anker through a series of inspirational films, contests and online destinations designed to help make the outdoors more accessible and better integrated into their everyday lives.

Final voting is happening now for the story contest. Participants were asked to send in stories about an experience that inspired their love of the outdoors. Our friends at Winter Campers have made it into the final round with their poem “I Am Not Going to Lie to You.” Check it out and vote for your favorite story, now through September 16th.
