Jet Packs For Sale This Summer: Video

If you have $100,000 and nothing else to do with it, you might want to consider buying this “jet pack” when it comes on the market this summer…

Or not.

You’d think a team of rocket scientists (selling a $100,000 jet pack) could have made a slightly better video. Oh yeah, and the jet pack only stays in the air for 75 seconds. Better not go too high!

The creator of the jet pack, Thunderbolt Aerosystems, hopes that its jet packs will ultimately be used for a “host of defense, commercial, and personal purposes, including support of military missions, disaster relief efforts, border patrol assignments, and even overcoming those snail-paced commutes.“

So anyone living less than 75 seconds from work should be all set.

All kidding aside, it is kind of cool. Right?
