Adventure Edge Radio with Jimmy Buff: Episode 2
This week’s Adventure Edge Radio episode features an update on the Badwater Ultramarathon. Billed as the Toughest Race on Two Feet, Badwater is 135 miles from the scorching depths of Death Valley to halfway up Mount Whitney, the highest peak in the lower 48.
Host Jimmy Buff will also revisit the search for legendary adventurer Steve Fossett and check in with Roz Savage, who’s in the midst of rowing across the Pacific Ocean.
Buff will also spend some time with Ben Cheever, novelist and at large writer for Runners World (and son of Pulitzer Prize winner John Cheever). Ben Cheever’s latest book is a memoir about his life as a runner; it is also a look at the history of running, as well as its physical aspects too.
