I see what you're saying. I did not mean to imply that all football players abuse dogs the way Michael Vick did--certainly they do not. Football has nothing to do with dogfighting. I'm positive that the NFL is as disgusted with Vick's behavior as we are. I simply meant to say that our society loves dogs and will not tolerate dogfighting, no matter how famous and talented the organizer may be. I see what you’re saying. I did not mean to imply that all football players abuse dogs the way Michael Vick did–certainly they do not. Football has nothing to do with dogfighting. I’m positive that the NFL is as disgusted with Vick’s behavior as we are. I simply meant to say that our society loves dogs and will not tolerate dogfighting, no matter how famous and talented the organizer may be.
